There is no "happy ending" in this story. More than 10 years before the story of "SHRIFT"... A world where all myths have been recognized as true and false due to the appearance of demons. In order to put an end to the chaotic situation, all the religious sects of the world are integrated into an organization called the "Church"... the young man who belongs to it is the main character of this time. You have to search for the "end" that he thinks is really happy from the many "rescue" that awaits him or is presented by someone . In this story, no matter how much he struggles, there's no way he can have a "happy ending", so please find his "rescue ending".

easier than shrift 1 and art is better tbh, The gameplay is also not completely broken like the first game was with it's broken gameplay that destroys you if you lost once. the scenes are also more abundant in quantity and have a addiction system placed to get you extra scenes if you are addicted to a certain fetish, making for some interesting dialogue. I also fancy the fact that demons in this game aren't truly malicious aside from one certain demon and they won't kill the mc for certain reasons that I can't say due to it being a spoiler, but this is more soft which I prefer because all the demons in the first game felt like scum to me. Demons like Torodon and the three demon trio aren't nearly as bad as someone like Arachne and Daji and really feels muxh easier to like for me. The only downside is that there is no true daji scene in here which is a bummer but it's alright.

Dev that created Shrift 1, virtually the same combat and H mechanics as before. Live2D animated H scenes and lots of fetishes. The sequel boasts a higher HCG count, and it's really good just as the first one was. However, there is one issue, and that's the inconsistency of the H material. This H game has the same issue it's predecessor had. Arguably even more so since there are more waifus and now you can fuck literal flowers, and slugs, so you can be sure there's no confusion anymore if Shrift has bestiality. On one end you have monster girls, and on the other you have 'Monster' girls, so your fap material may be skewed to a smaller amount than the HCG count actually implies. It's the same issue Monster girl quest has; where your ability to fap to the H content largely depends on how far you're able to enjoy their designs. There's no consistent philosophy around them besides having a hole. But regardless, this is an easy pick up and play title with an easy enough access to fap as you play gameplay. The H game is quite long, so be ready to spend a lot of time on it before getting to enough waifus you're able to enjoy I suppose. Your mileage may vary.

Bro, I freakin' love this. Gotta grind a fair bit if you want to unlock stuff, but it's all relatively quick. People saying "oh it takes too long to grind". Do church work. It gets you back to a base level. Easy. Animations are good. Character writing is good. Scenarios are GOOD. Biggest downside are the builds. They feel kind of pointless. Just build damage. What sidekick do you bring? The one that gives more damage. Damage is the name of the game for the most part. That downside doesn't matter to me though. I'm here to be taken advantage of by hot monster women (and other things), and this delivers.

What holds this game back is the level drain mechanic. Even if you have multiple saves to try make sure your levels aren't drained it doesn't matter because levels are saved separately from your saves. This 1 star rating is harsh but honest because this game as a game is not enjoyable to play. If you are playing this game you are playing for the sexual moments but all sexual moments drains levels and without levels it's impossible to progress. The sexual scenes are locked behind a completely tedious and anti-fun grind if you just do the bare minimum and fight everything low level you will lose and you will miss most of the content so the level drain mechanic ruins the sexual aspect of the game too because you're thinking about how annoying it's going to be to get your levels back and wondering is what you missed worth going back and losing your levels for and repeating the grind. If this was not bad enough there's many animations that only start when you're not able to survive any more so if an enemy has an attack like this it's 10+ at minimum levels to see all the content. The grind is absolutely not fun whatsoever and takes way too long. Play the game on Easy that is mandatory if you want to play this version but the best thing you can do is wait for the level drain mechanic to be changed so it doesn't waste your time and take you out of an otherwise pleasant moment. When the level system is fixed so it doesn't arbitrarily waste your time and ruin the experience I will change this review to at least 4 star because it's true the gameplay is pretty bad but where the game shines it really shines. The frustrating level system kills the game for me and will probably kill the game for most people so I really hope this review and other reviews repeating the same points are taken to heart because if this game was not held back it would be fantastic. This game is a great example of how 1 awful design decision can ruin a product and it's extremely unfortunate.

Review done at the end of chapter 2: This game is gold plated dog shit. Everything in the game looks amazing but when you get down to it, there's nothing of value. The story is alright, the gameplay is boring, and the enemies are baby easy. Every layer of this game is masterfully created to waste your time. The porn is fantastic but everything else about this game is extremely disappointing. The developer went from creating the undertale darksouls of porn games to slop you'd find anywhere else.

I can't speak for the average user of this fourm but I'm a very busy guy. I wanna beat my meat, and log the fuck off for the night. That said if you're looking for a game that will respect your time and give you a enjoyable experience. Look else where, because this game will only give you one While shrift 2 provides ABSOLUTE GORGEOUS ANIMATED cg and great story the type that will make you cum your brains out. You better hope you don't be like me and quit half way through a fight because you wanted to start over because you lost. The game punishes you for that by soft locking YOUR FUCKING GOD DAMN GAME if you're not past the cait sith fight. This game suffers from insanely grindy rpg grind garbage. If you got plenty of time to slam your head against your keyboard be my guest but that pissed me off. The devs did not cook with that one. Do yourself a favor, Instead of playing it how its intended like I unfortunately did. Go search up rpg maker editor on google and hack your save to make yourself op and have lots of money. Not to high, the game detects that but just enough to give you a severe advantage. I do that to give the middle finger to devs who quite litteraly want people to suffer through hours of grind to see a couple of animated images they worked a hour on. Respect my time or I won't respect the time you put into the game to enjoy it normally. I'm not doing all that. Thank me later. Quite litteraly will be doing that if I ever get the time to do another run.

v2.56 God, I want to love this game. Animated sex scenes, actual diversity in lewd content that isn't just generic vanilla vaginal, diverse creatures to get nonconned by, and easy (but somewhat flawed) access to repeating scenes! So where does it go wrong? Forced typical RPGM grind garbage, WAY too chatty for how little content you get (not to mention how edgy the story often gets) and far too much time between meeting new girls. I was invested-ish into the story, meaning that for a change, I was actually reading everything rather than just skipping, right until your mark activates with the second girl. It is, without a doubt, one of the most cringe inducing things I've seen in a sequel to a porn game. Pretty niche category, but...still. This was a full "My sona IS shadow the hedgehog! Not his brother, I'm HIM. I'm THE guy!!!!!" You rip out your black makeup and go full edgelord to activate your....sex...powers. God, it's bad. Started skipping everything after that, and holy FUCK there is SO much god DAMN dialogue. The quest system is also only marginally useful, so if you skip, you're sometimes left high and dry on where to go. Not a deal breaker by any means, and entirely my own fault by technicality, but still. For the amount of time I've put into doing the main story, I should have double the girls that I do. After a reported 7 hours and 50 minutes (according to my save file) of mild grinding and very little gallery usage, I have....three girls! Four if you count the one you start with because of the tutorial. I have accumulated 3 through story progress. That is...it's not enough. Especially because the interactions are one and done, which is a huge shame. It's largely why all of this chatty tripe is entirely pointless. You spend SO much time building up a lot of these characters and their motives, then...shove them into a hotel room for you to fuck sometimes. That's it. You don't even get unique dialogue if you intentionally lose over and over and gain special debuffs or feed them levels. This game clearly is way too ambitious for what the dev is able to provide, creating a massive gulf between real and perceived content. It's actually fucking insane how many tutorials they throw at you for features that just aren't necessary. Then there are the lists of debuffs to read about optionally that seem really important, but actually have 0 impact on the gameplay. All in all, this game is just such a let down. It's not bad by any means, and I do enjoy the style, characters, and quality of what's there. It's simply flawed, and deeply so. I like flavor text in a good story. I love character interactions. I want to love these characters. But they're not characters. They're lackluster cutouts of what could...what should be. For all the attempts to build them up, they all end up as simple soulless fuck puppets that are as unrefined as this game itself. This game would lose nothing if the vast majority of its conversations were removed simply because they all end the same way. Underwhelmingly.

This game really takes you out of this world into another. The artstyle and characters are bizarre but still attractive. The game looks dated but I like that, it feels like you have been transported back to 2009. It has an immersive world and the story seems good so far. I really hope the full game gets translated soon, but it will probably take while.

Similar to Shrift 1, this one is also very good but unfinished with limited translation into chapter 1. Animations have more options and gameplay is way better than the first one so far, for those that aren't RPG experts. Recommended if you enjoyed games such as MGQ and Three Charms.

It is good anime game If you can undestand story that is but it would be spoiler, But this not about that. What I mean by anime is about story pacing and how much love dev put into this. they want us to be engage with animation The animation Dev really must have a team working on this for sure. With love. Even I can not run full 60 FPS all the time but I could imaging how it would be at 60 FPS Without animation these juicy game going be like blend many other game that why these kind of game is good if animation done good tho there some sloppy cheap stuff here and there but they got some varies so it good enough There are also certain mechanics that very suprise me. Not many RPGmaker can pull this off heck. Even none of porn game got this. i dont even see this before but they got it work and it fit the pacing story of the game I feel like even I digging through many game there are no other game standing out like this one. sloppy drawing of character but shader done enough to become it own style but not quite stand out but it got animation This is enough to be a fine hidden gem for me. Just like shrift 1, shrift 2 is a pretty great prequel. There's similar mechanics compared to the first. Animation now how viewpoint changes and look more smooth. Only thing that's weird is the new 3d maze but it also comes with some perverse mobs. Luckily the Creator added an easy way to get through mobs.
