where love, family, and desire intertwine in very interesting ways...
DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT A GAME, IT'S A VISUAL NOVEL WITHOUT CHOICES.
Spoiler
Think of it as a book or movie, but with lots of carefully crafted porn scenes. This is NOT your usual incest story about a mindless poorly-written harem, it has a big focus on the eroticism of the incest taboo itself, and making the
family relationships mean something more than just a label
. Expect
very heavy incestuous dialogue
here without any stupid censorship patches. Also includes
unavoidable lesbian
scenes and both male and female protagonists.

Total narrator lines went down drastically 1100 -> ~550! Some were very unnecessary with the visuals on screen, and I'm only keeping most now to enhance the erotic scenes.
More focus on thoughts and new dialogues. For example, Erik is the one introducing the family now.
Reduced the length of some monologues and made some dialogues a bit more natural/casual.

The last update was amazing, getting better and better. There is great tension between all 3 of them and the scenes develop pretty well. I'm looking forward to some potential final release!!!! 123456

After giving the story some time to play out, and giving Erik some grace... everything just fell into place. I foolishly thought that what I now know as setup, would set the tone for the entire game but nooooooope. This game gets infinitely better sometime around part 2, and just. does. not. let. up. Honestly one of the best games Ive ever played. Also, the pacing is amazing as well. Music too. Everything about it is great.

This is not a game as the dev said clearly, but its a very interesting VN nonetheless. I really like how the dev really stay focused on the trio and the story he wanna tell. The characters and scenes look good.

A myriad mirage of artificial mirrors and authentic, adventurous aspirations. Sinful Summers Chapter 1-3.5 Review . Potential Spoilers ahead. Read with Caution. If you are deeply familiar with the series and don't care about story analysis and just want the tl;dr, skip to the TL;DR section I will break this review down into several sections. If it's too long, I couldn't care less- just don't read it. The author of this placed a lot of explanation and seems active in community discussion, so I have afforded them the due effort that I believe they've tried to put into this work. Section 1: Witness me You are a voyeur. No, not your character. You. Right now. Downloading and opening this classic ren'py style game, recognize quickly that the author is not bullshitting you when they say that this is a visual novel, heavy on the visual, heavy on the novel. There is no real choice in this game in relation to characters or motivations or intentions whatsoever. This is not a race-track or a sandbox. This is a fucking roller-coaster. If you enjoy hitting auto-play and lean back and read at a decent pace, this is for you. We are voyeurs into a summer where two over-indulged and pampered upper-middle-class Scandinavian twins, both having just freshly graduated high-school and done a single year of their undergraduate degrees at university. The Mother, stereo-typically named Helga, is a semi-retired lawyer of a successful business practice who is going through a bit of a row with the twins' father. Their vacation time aligns together for an entire summer of reconnecting and discovering what these three want for the future. That's the back-of-the-box generic explanation of this novel. There are three characters here: Lyna, Erik, Helga. But you are not Erik. You are not Helga. The authorial intent, and the author's not-subtly-inserted avatar, is the younger-by-several-minutes sister Lyna. Lyna is an all-too-self aware nymphomaniac who the viewer will largely be rooting for as they are the devil on everyone's shoulder, while simultaneously being a character one wishes to waterboard. She is more or less written in a masculine voice. Lyna has the masculine voice, while her brother has the more timid, effete, feminine voice in terms of writing style. This is not a generic fly-by-night kinetic novel such as work done by dumb[REDACTED] or others, there's a significant amount of characterization and intentional subtext constructed from the beginning by the author. If the novel were a candle, it burns unevenly- absurdly slow in some sections, very intensely fast in others, and often provides the viewer with the sense of being in a plane being piloted by a group of friends who all vaguely recollect their obsession with Microsoft Flight Simulator ten years ago- it's thrilling if this is your cup of tea, but it's also horrifying at times as well. You will spend an inordinate amount of days- two summers worth, it seems- in a sea-side manor somewhere on the Baltic Sea. Like a Baltic tide, the erotica rises and swells rapidly and then ebb/flows back to allow the mind to breathe and the body to recover. The author finds a plethora of ways to put the family members into situations all about the resort-town which provide them with great excuses to model and pose their characters. The locations themselves are not ridiculous, but there is a sense that the world beyond these three family members is dead. The discretion the characters take is in spite of there being no witnesses, not due to there being many witnesses. There's *practically* no writing for secondary characters. The very occasional generic woman at a kiosk (Lingerie purchasing scene) or at a cafe, but there's no additional taboo-trial-and/or-tribulation via hiding their secrets from the world, as the world beyond these three narcissists doesn't really exist. I mention narcissist because none of these characters ever contemplate anything beyond themselves and their immediate desires even once. Even when it would make for good drama. The writing has pacing problems, and its quality- extremely strong at the beginning- has fallen into a rhythm that is irritating and repetitive, with characters often retreading ground or having innuendo or lust-filled conversations that they've already had fifteen or twenty times before, with little need for the scene except to show off the models in another set of unique clothing or underwear. There's a meaningfulness and intent here that is struggling to come out against the gratuitousness of the visuals and the pacing of the erotica. The Author often cannot let the models themselves be the erotic center or allow the characters to talk with their brain instead of their sex. Section 1.5 - The Substance of the Sinful Summer Spectacle: Characters and pacing. Spoilers ahead. As a 'Kinetic Novel' the actual dialogue and descriptive elements- the *written story,* is as important- or more important- than the visuals. Sinful Summer is frustratingly competent. That is to say, the author clearly understands how to raise and lower tension while also providing seemingly trivial pieces of information or possible side-fetish concepts that actually end up being core components to character motivation. But this exploration of character rarely knows how to dip past the chilly middle of the incest pool, nor does Erik and Helga realistically react to Lyna's desires and machinations even within the established limits and desires of these three distinct characters. An Editor which could examine the writing in conjunction with the rendering might be able to provide a sobering perspective for the author that may have trimmed down the amount of artificial fluff/filler that provide neither any real tantalizing stuff or anything emotionally/intellectually stimulating. But the over-reliance on Artificial Intelligence for doing plotting, pacing, and editing means that characters will be repeatedly ignoring conversations they just had, convincing another character- for the fifth time- to accomplish a sexual deed that wasn't an issue several scenes ago. It's as if the game is out-of-order at times, or chapters have been placed before/ahead of where they should be. There are three arch-types I have identified in this novel. You have **Erik.** Erik is the only man of the house due to a complicated divorce. Much akin to other kinetic novels in this style, the competitor/husband/father-figure to the ladies is a duplicitous piece of garbage who has too much money and has absolutely no chill. Erik's effete and pampered personality makes Erik a pussy. However, as the story develops, Erik becomes the Dream. Allow me to explain. The Dream, in French Philosophy, is influenced deeply by enlightenment era Gnosticism and anthropomorphic obsession with reality-as-observation. Those who are 'dreamers' can inflict their will on those around them- becoming subjects of their 'dream.' In simple German-Hegelian concept, there is a Master and a Slave: A person who has the dominant authority, and the person who must be subservient due to the power imbalance. This exists between mother and son, brother and sister, teacher and student, police officer and citizen, doctor and first year resident, landlady and- you see where I am going here. For French Philosopher Gilles Deluze, and Gaston Bachelard, they argued that a person should be careful not to become the *dream* in the eyes of another person, as they see the *dreamer* as the Master, and the *dream* as the slave- for the *dream* must adhere to particular properties that are being placed upon them by the *dreamer.* This gives the dreamer incredible powers over the dream, or, the person which they are dreaming of. The behaviour becomes pathological. See where we're going? Lyna is the dreamer of Sinful Summer. She manifests the entire plot and erotica into existence through constantly thinking about incest, then openly discussing incest, then attempting to act out incest, and refusing to back-down after both brother and mother repeatedly turn down her advances. Lyna is not just the dreamer- she is incorrigible to the point of near-sociopathy. She was clearly a daddy's girl before the family split, and had more memories of spending time with her brother than with her mother, who was a careerist when she was a child. Lyna utilizes her mother's desire to catch up with her children and make up for lost time to emotionally manipulate and at times physically abuse her brother and mother. Any attempt at pushing back against this dream of hers causes her to double-down and get even more aroused. She's a dyed-in-the-wool semi-psychopathic rich-girl who has never had a single serious concern in her entire life, and her behaviour demonstrates this spectacularly. Sometimes too much so, to the point of being synthetic, jarring, and a convenient excuse to shunt character development for another 150 renders. Lyna will demonstrate exceptional insight and self-awareness into the taboo task she has ahead of her. There's multiple scenes of her alone, contemplating to herself, gaming out the summer in her mind and then enacting this plan. Whenever she makes a mistake, however, or things do not go to plan, the author resets Lyna's progression in the hero's journey . She no longer recognizes or understands the limits of her sibling and mother, constantly says and attempts things that are a dozen degrees higher than what is implied, which subsequently causes a complete erotic cool-down period. Cue A.I assisted music with a down-beat emotional tune and shots of everyone looking very sad while being utterly soaked and wildly erect in self-created blueballs. But not to worry- the pool, the clothing store, or the beach will always cause another erotic tension to rise, then Lyna will push several dozen degrees higher than any mentally stable person would do. But Lyna is not a stable person. She's not terribly interested in what anyone else is saying. She doesn't even improvise and tailor her words to the situation before her, so she's not a particularly intelligent or clever seductress- she just slams porn dialogue down everyone's throats until they capitulate. Then we have Helga. Helga is the strongest written character of the three- as she should be, being more than twice the age of the other two but is animated and rendered like an absolute anime Swede-smoke-show. Helga was groomed for lesbian tendencies by her absolute bitch of an older sister. She's also deeply frustrated due to an absent husband. She wishes to over-pamper her children due to missing their childhood, which doubly enforces how materially rich and pampered and shielded both Helga and her children are from the wider world. She knows how to say no to her children, but she doesn't know how to say no for long. The rules she sets are sometimes arbitrary, sometimes influenced by past memories and experiences. There came a moment where the author had really tested the level of my patience, and I was about to DNF (Do Not Finish) this experience and leave a very different sort of review. The Dreamer, Lyna, had once again misread a situation and decided to psychologically abuse her brother and mother at the same time and really put her desire out there. And then Helga turns the tables, and I stood up and actually clapped. I was about to ALT+F4, and I clapped instead. So the author's doing something right here. But as soon as Helga takes up the Dommy-Mommy position, she reverts again back to dumb, clueless, lonely mother. The characters refuse to relax at the plateau the author writes them to- they slide back down several degrees in lewdity in order to inflate the story. Helga, you see, is the Discipline & Punishment - she has to both maintain the matronly authority and dish out moral/ethical standards while also punishing herself for being an absent mother and feeling sexually frustrated. Unlike Lyna, Helga's far more restrained at the start but slides neatly into the very-carying-dommy-mommy niche at times, only to go back to clueless. Sinful Summers' writing is a sine-wave of quality just like it's a sine-wave of tension pauses and then intense erotica. However, I am not insisting that the non-sex scenes are poor quality, and I am only looking for sex. Sinful Summers' has an issue with the *Hero's Journey.* There are several steps to the typical character journey: The Call to Adventure (The Summer Vacation,) the Supernatural Aid (The Divorce + the shitload of money + the summer home) and this leads to the Threshold (Lyna wanting to begin her taboo fantasies in reality, Erik being pliable and unsure of himself and a person-pleaser, Helga wanting to reconnect with her children and feign being a normal family.) And this leads to the meat of the kinetic novel: **Challenges and Temptations.** However, the Author continually resets the characters back to this level. It may appear as the novel goes on that their sexual escapades are growing- and this is absolutely true- the underlying writing beneath it continually suggests that these characters have not learned previous lessons or have completely forgotten conversations. Lyna clearly articulates her desire to help Erik seduce Helga, and Erik agrees to this not once, but twice. However, once the opportunity is presenting itself after several days of sufficient subtle manipulation, Erik speaks to Helga as if he hates the entire idea and wants to be anywhere except the room he's in. Yet this goes against the already established intent and motive of the character. This is done in order to artificially inflate the duration of sexual tension. Lyna and Erik convene, and they discuss the taboo eagerly, and then Erik once again behaves counter to previous stated intent- without any internal monologue arguing with himself or saying he's too afraid of his Sister to push back- and this is frustrating to see when compared to the narrative tightness of Chapter 1. In essence, the plot of the story begins to circle itself over and over again. Instead, characters behave counter-intuitive to intentions and inner-thoughts established even in the previous scene. The underlying erotic descriptions between the characters also rise and fall in quality. A great author will take this opportunity to create characterization and let us know what the characters are focusing on, and what these focuses are allegories for. Yet despite the author clearly having the skill and understanding to write about underlying emotional/psychological circumstances underpinning the origins of their familial fetish, they don't actually engage in that material in a meaningful way- too much reliance on machine intelligence and A.I assistance to create what is ostensibly a human experience, and it really begins to show after the first two chapters. Instead, the author utilized a character having a moment of self-reflection as a hard-brake to start-and-stop character development and drag the summer along another day. Queue Lyna getting far too pushy, queue several days of the mother and daughter having a possessive-jealousy between one another over Erik, then both women trying to get Erik alone- all while Erik is protesting and saying he doesn't want it, while already having received it a dozen times. I get it, but the author's not saying anything deeper or compelling or interesting. They just continually have Lyna mention how fantastic and taboo it is that she's getting what she wants, sprinkle in a two second childhood flashback, and then back to resetting the character's journey. The mother's intelligence is stretched to incredulity and the believable nature of the progression stalls like a drunk pilot. They will have the same conversation over, and over, and over, and over again. They will vary ever so slightly, but it will contain the same topics, they will utilize the same deflections, they then come to the same understanding, then try to enact that understanding out, only to accomplish the feat and get cold-feet afterwards, repeat and recycle. You've established the theme. You've given the viewer enough substance to start exploring these ideas- but like Carmine Sr. said in the Sopranos: Name a Price or get the fuck over it. Section 2 - Sinful Summer's Sight/Sound/Sex The music selection seems Suno generated. This will be a personal choice for you, but I personally have no issue with A.I music when it is primarily designed to generate a particular vibe or mood and is not over-bearing, and Sinful Summer almost, *almost* gets it right. But then the music videos appear. Sinful Summers has several music videos that are timed to short animations and CG's. They are meant to induce an emotional blush response in the viewer- a time to sit back, hand out your pants, mind relaxing from reading, and just taking in some pop-emo lyrical tunes that... Are absurd. And on the nose. And peak-cheesey. I want to assume that the lyrical content was written by the SunoAI, because the lyrics are frankly terrible. They're not heart-felt, or erotic, or emotionally stimulating in any way except by generating second-hand cringe. I don't want to believe a human being wrote them. A human certainly prompted it, but it didn't feel like it was curated by a human line by line, lyric by lyric. It's beyond cheesy, and not in a cute way. The rhyming structure's basic, there's lyrical repetition, there's very few multi-syllable words used in the lyrics, the metaphors and simile's were all lackluster. I've used these tools before. I've used these tools to create similar content, but of a far higher quality. It leads me to believe the writer has no musical background whatsoever. I don't want to hold this against them, no one downloads a kinetic novel for the sound-track. But while the author states that they spent a lot of time on audio cues to assist in the story-telling, the music really ain't it. Rather than providing an emotional note, it clashes with the heavy sexual tone that's been established- you can't create a romance song after the vast majority of the seduction has been focused on teenage sexual taboo instead of emotional resonance and connection. The general vibe music- sensual, comedic, slice-of-life back-tracks are all very serviceable. I have no issues with them. I couldn't help but notice that Lyna and Helga are quite audible, but Erik is not. I find this to be a curious design decision, as the Author stipulates in their writing that Erik is not meant to be our personal self-insert, but an equal character in a story of 3 people. But Erik gets a serious lack of audibles compared to the other two. Each of the characters, despite 66% of them being female, all speak in a deeply male-coded voice and use male-coded argot, which makes believing the characterization of Helga and Lyna difficult at times- they all behave and speak like teenagers with permanent erections while trying to hide those erections with the subtlety of a nuclear bomb. The graphics are serviceable to good. The house itself feels a bit like a character, but it's a character that's written with two dimensions. I feel like there's a seriously missed opportunity not to make the summer home itself more critical to the development of these characters. There is some vague attempt of this at the very start of the novel when the pair discover a sex toy, a photo album, and a white set of lingerie. This is never really explored again. There's no room for quiet reflection that lets these characters reminisce *with* the property. It just feels like a convenient excuse for them to fuck in secrecy from the public eye, rather than being a bonified character in of itself. The renders of the house are crisp and clean. The shadows are well done and the lighting is never glaring or non-flattering. There is a flatness to the characters faces when not being shown at certain profiles, and Lyna's face can sort of disappear within itself in what the author is, I believe, attempting to make comedic/cartoonish faces. But they end up being stilted and awkward and offputting, instead. The lighting also reveals their Scandinavian paleness in some areas, while being overtly skin-detailed in other shots. There's enough customization and filtering however to make the graphics more than above average, and with a distinct style compared to many other KN's rigged with the same programs. Seasonal Frustrations - Dreaming, Discipline, Damnation- the Thesis of Sinful Summers tl;dr: Sinful Summer is a continental European philosophical examination of Ego, Identity, the Libertine lifestyle of European petit-bourgeoisie, wrapped up in the niche kink of incest. However, the balance between atmospheric writing and soundscape combined with sensual visuals and an erotic through-line in the plot often clash with one another and scenarios become memorable in spite of the writing and not because of it. The author insists they want to do a realistic story while also managing to pull off a plethora of different sub-kinks and taboo's with a very small cast and a very tightly curated amount of locations. And largely, I think they are succeeding at this. I like the concept, I like the setting, I vibe 1:1 with the author's aesthetic choices for clothing and for body-styles. The game emphasizes the importance and depth of the story but in actuality seems scared to tackle these concepts at the level the author continually hints at, and instead devolves it into early 2000's porno dialogue that was tiring a decade ago. However, the 'Have conversation, disregard conversation, make plan, disregard plan' pacing is staccato, and equally boring/frustrating, where I'm equally compelled to want a character hospitalized as I am in wanting their dreams to come true. I'm an avid reader, and when I start skipping large swaths of dialogue with a rapid-read and my brain is detecting nothing of interest or nothing new, the pacing of the plot is poor and artificially created. The writing, so strong at the start, begins to rely too much on kinkdom and repeating internal monologue's we've already read instead of character progression or exploration, and the opportunities to use sexual scenes and descriptions for clever allegory, simile, or metaphor gets wasted for another by-the-numbers porn dialogue. The soundscape is not as diegetic and immersive as other titles I have reviewed that are also made by 1-2 man studios- beyond some Suno tracks, sounds of waves at the beach, etc.. There's no real soundscape to immerse you in the experiences. Although I am ultimately enjoying my experience- it's hitting all the subjective check-marks I want from an experience on this site- It has the opportunity to rise above the average, but it continues to struggle with its own identity, like there's no director at the helm. There's a few really incredible visual-story-telling moments in this novel, but there could have been- and should have been- a lot more. Getting a human content editor would take this author's ideas and concepts and current writing style to heights surpassing fan-favourites and well known artists. If they can get over their own hubris. Three-and-slightly-above-point-five/5.

4.5/5 Easily one of the best incest "games" out there. Love the slow burn and overall story. Each character feels like a real person. Lots of attention to detail overall. A definite must-play if you're into the genre. As far as the negatives, some of the writing is kinda cringy and over-the-top. I also really don't like the models, but they do get better as the game goes on. Also it seems like AI is starting to get used in animations in the more recent updates? Not really a fan of that. If it doesn't become too prevalent though I won't complain too much Overall though I'm a big fan of this and will look forward to more updates and other games/VN's from the dev in the future.

This is a very erotic story about incest. Over time, the graphics got better and better. I don't like multi-path choices, and enjoy a novel that is visual. Pubic hair is something I really like, especially blond hair. The Dev has excellent pacing of the unfolding of the incest relationships. If you are just now finding this story, you have a lot of story to enjoy!

I always wait for some updates so I can do a review. But man, what a sad thing it was to play this, what a cliché game, the same dialogues and situations seen repeatedly in hundreds of other games. What ugly and grotesque characters, the animation is decent, but seeing those ugly and grotesque bodies and faces in the animations was discouraging and uninteresting. I'm not even going to waste my time waiting for penetration of the mother, better to ignore the topic so I don't see these lame characters again on the latest updates page.

The characters development in this game is top notch along side with how the story itself progresses especially the relationship dynamics between the characters too. I really liked the pacing of the story and the slow-burn effect it gives. Of course this is completely from a subjective perspective. So if you like slow-burn incest, this one is definitely for you.

The game has a solid story and build up to scenes that is paced well. The models are unique and aren't just generic daz models. Really great animations with multiple angles and sequences that dont just loop

Hello, I just wanted to say that the game is amazing, when I first started playing this game I said to myself" here's another game that will tease, flirt and take forever to see anything intimate, well I was a 100% wrong, the animations are very good, sound effects are also very good, Helga is absolutely stunning and Lyna is very sexy as well, there's a few things that I would like to see change, I've always loved a shaved vagina and not that it makes Helga any less beautiful and sexy it's just my preference. Some games that I've played the devs put the option to remove hair in the preferences, and again, I'm not criticizing and it doesn't by no means makes her less sexy but I wish that Lyna's breasts were just a little bigger, she's petite and to have large breasts like her mother would look ridiculous but something that's a little more perky and bouncy, I really love Lyna's new hair style and when Helga has her hair styled my God she is stunning, I enjoyed this game so much I decided to support the dev on Subscribestar it's only fair, correct? thank you everyone

Review of [Ch.3.4] INCREDIBLE INCEST/ROMANCE HOT GAME FUCKING HOT AND GOOD STORY The best thing about it is the story and how well-written it is, about two twins who go to a paradise island and discover, above all, their deepest childhood passions. Their mother joins them later and gradually becomes corrupted, reaching the point of incest. The renders are well done, but there are occasional lighting issues. The most negative aspect I see is the cartoonish style, which, in my opinion, detracts from the realism, but otherwise, everything is great. ESPECIALLY THE SEX SCENES and how the brother ravages his sister's PUSSY. PROS Amazing HOT INCEST STORY Nice Animations with different angles and good moans and sound Very Good Writing Interesting Deep STORY CONS Very cartoonish renders Over time, I find reading so much boring. There is no decision in the game I think the developer makes too many excuses, both saying there are no decisions to make in the game and that you can't identify with any of the main characters. RATING : Content: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sound: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Renders: ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ Characters: ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ Animations: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Final conclusion: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This game is peak. The dialogue and slow burn build up of both relationships is amazing. The art isn't the best, even in the most recent chapter/remade chapters. The lighting could be better and the models have some weird artifacting, but it's still super hot. I love that Lyna has such a tight and slim body. I'm so sick of every game having love interests that exclusively have boobs bigger than their torso. The only real negative I will give is the music. The ambience is solid, but anytime one of the songs has lyrics, I just mute it. This goes doubly for the original songs in the game which are turbo-cringe. But again, I can just mute it and move on for the most part (though I'd like if there was an option to remove the song subtitles during those scenes)

Pretty good animations and models. Imo. It would have been a much more enjoyable experience without the mother altogether. I'm not into the ageplay nor the parent/offspring kind of incest, and this game seems hell bent on forcing that type of content on me more than the sibling stuff which is what I really looked into the game for. Scenes involving the mother are heavily favored in length and detail both, and the game gives no option to skip this part of the story. At one point in the latest update I had to just call it quits. It's just not for me. Maybe when the story focuses more on the Twincest and gives me an option to pretend the meddlesome 3rd wheel mother isn't involved.

First and foremost, I must say that this is one of the best AVNs about incest out there, if not the best. The world-building is neatly done, neither too much nor too little, which makes it easier to read and immerse oneself in. I've followed the game since it was first uploaded here, I've watched its evolution, and I must say the dev has learned well how to improve the quality. Your choice to use less narration and let the scenes speak for themselves is often overlooked. The visuals have gotten better with each update, even when it first came out, the visuals were already better than most AVNs using HS2. Lighting in porn does 60% of the job, if not more. The dialogue and narration are well written, it's easy to become immersed in it. Your choice to use different font colors for each character is appreciated, no need to sometimes re-read the text because of a brain fart. The scenery is great, especially during dialogues, the POV or camera changes make it immersive. Although for immersion I must admit that music and ambient sounds play an important part, I've played my fair share of AVNs before, I've had the pleasure of playing some good ones, but often they lack music, or it's just generic music that doesn't accompany the reader in what's unfolding, unlike what you did in many scenes, for example when Erik and Lyna kiss for the first time. The pacing is well maintained. I have to be honest, waiting for Erik and Lyna's first time was hard lol, but like I said, the build-up toward that taboo is very well done. It's not some bullshit where you just raise affection meters and fuck, or wait for the update to fuck your sis because you have to fuck all the other girls first. As for the sex scenes themselves, they are grandiose to say the least. The narration is again very well done in emphasizing the taboo, and the animations are top-notch for a solo dev. Now about the AI, I'm glad someone finally used it correctly. Still... I have keen eyes and find it easy to spot AI "burps," shall I say. In my opinion, the best scenes are when Lyna and Helga kiss, I saw that tongue merging, but overall it's the least otherworldly of all. The only animations that truly bothered me were the ones with the hands, they feel too uncanny, especially the fingernails and the skin. But other than that, if you don't focus on it, it adds some immersion. I would recommend finding a way to fix the hands mostly, and also make the animation loops better. I just want to add a little thing, but finally having a male protagonist with a normal dick size instead of an absurdly large dick, is appreciated. So I give it a 4.5 stars objectively. Okay, that was my objective opinion. I hope I kept my subjectivity on a leash enough, but now subjectively speaking, I still like the game because the writing is damn good. Although the sex and story have taken a turn into a more "hardcore/depravity" setting, shall I say, I'm more of a lovey-dovey moron. I don't like that, but it's purely subjective and doesn't take away from the overall quality. With that in mind, I would subjectively give it 3.5 stars, because even I can't deny how good the writing is, which still puts it in my top 5 AVNs nonetheless. In any case, I wish you good luck with your AVN, I'll still keep an eye for updates.

I think this one is a very good incest game. For me, it checks all the right boxes; phasing is good(I like even slower corruption but I think it stays in the sweet spot and make everyone happy), writing is good(doesn't hide after silly, opposite of funny jokes but handles the story more mature way which makes it more organic), etc.. BUT why is it so yellow, so bright? I always appreciate personal touch of aritst/developer/"you name it" but this is so distracting and it doesn't do any favor to visiuals either because you can see all the flaws "brightly". I never thought "color" could be a problem for me till I saw this one. Other than that, I can only recommend, this is a good one. I also want to add a small feedback for all devs who is reading this: you don't have to set a date scene before first time sex with the main heroine. I don't know, seeing this for almost every game in this site makes their stories more and more inorganic like watching a random porn. Plus I don't think anyone gets turned on these date scenes till the action starts. I think there should be some other ways to have sex with main heroines without wine and dine.

I was playing it for a while and finally decided to put a review due the recent changes done in the production of the game. The good parts is that it has quite a few hot scenes kinks and the models are quite nice and the writing is decent. The bad parts is that the pacing has felt too fast for me, a more gradual thing would have been better from my experience. And the other one is that I cannot support that kind of use in AI in games. A result that gives me a bitter taste.

Sinful Summer is one of the better written incest games on the site but certain choices made by the dev make my feelings on the whole experience a very mixed bag. Continuous use of AI-generated music and animations kind of cheapens what is supposed to be a very taboo but human experience and it does break immersion for me when honey select and AI physics try to mix. I don't mind that the game is kinetic and you just kind of follow the story but that does make some of the early chapters feel a bit more "bluebally" than if you could at least try and fail some early plot events. I like Lyna and Helga but Erik's contrast to Lyna sticks around a bit too long and it would have been nice to have their roles switch a bit in some scenarios like if Erik was more focused on some types of play or something so that you don't just have Lyna pushing the entire time. Would probably have been a 4/5 but the direction that the dev is going drops it down a peg.

Wow! What a nice game (VN) This game was top notch The characters 10/10 The story 8/10 Erotic content 10/10 Basically, this game is pretty perfect in every way. Unfortunately, It's kinetic Novel, so I cannot bring myself to give it 5/5. (I feel the same about short story games) But yes, a fully deserved 4/5 and would have been 5/5 if it was a VN with some choices.

Definitely a 5-star "game" (well, more like kinetic novel) for the incest genre. It's quite obvious this is a passion project for the developer, it's written well and it's slow burn while it has a ton of content at the same time. It really checks all of the boxes. I could start nitpick on the dated (but not too bad) graphics, or mention the nice OST, but who the fuck cares? You won't find many incest-focused games that's written so well, this is a MUST PLAY if you're into the genre.
