About Sort of Justice
Sort of Justice is an adult kinetic visual novel by Creator Tom, made in Ren'Py with animated 3D CG. You play a directionless man whose co-worker, his closest friend, frames him for a crime. After seven years in prison, he returns determined to take revenge on the woman who betrayed him. His path leads through crime and violence, meeting allies and enemies while uncovering that people and motives are not always what they appear. The story follows a male protagonist through a linear adult narrative.
The current build is Chapter 3 v0.3.1, released June 30, 2026. Development is ongoing, not finished. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with English language support and no censorship. The latest changelog lists 1,385 renders, 4 music tracks, and 55 sound effects for this chapter, plus a new Character Profile and an added Chinese translation. Earlier fixes addressed clipping, display names, dialogue speakers, typos, Android icons, menu frames, and dialogue box placement.

Sort of Justice is a kinetic adult visual novel. In this story, you are a man with no particular goals or ambitions. Living through each day like the previous one. Perhaps the only thing that keeps you motivated each day is your co-worker, whom you consider your best friend. However, your life takes a dark turn when she frames you for a crime you didn't commit. After seven years in prison, you are released with the ambition to seek revenge on your backstabber. You enter the world of crime and violence, encountering many different personalities, both friends and foes. Along the way, you slowly learn that not everything is as it seems.
