About Sovereign Shores
Sovereign Shores is a medieval-fantasy life simulation made by Peridot in HTML, with 2D computer graphics. You begin as a newcomer stranded on Aethmoor, an island of four towns, farms, docks, woods, dunes, and a distant castle. Your goal is to rise from poverty toward power by working, learning a trade, trading, and managing hunger, energy, coin, and reputation. The game includes adventure, fantasy, and character creation, while choices can shape relationships, schemes, fighting, and faction influence across a populated world.
The current build is version 0.3.1, released on June 23, 2026, as a public alpha test. Development is ongoing, and the update is described as an initial release with placeholder art, known bugs, and a request for feedback. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is in English, and is uncensored.

You wash ashore on Aethmoor with salt in your lungs and nothing to your name. No coin, no kin, no past that matters anymore. The island rises ahead of you: four towns strung between fishing docks and farmland, market squares and garrison walls, ringed by dunes, deep woods, and a castle you cannot yet imagine entering. Sovereign Shores is a medieval-fantasy life-sim about climbing from that empty beach to the throne. Work the docks or the fields, learn a trade, haggle on the exchange, and watch your needs: hunger, energy, coin, reputation. Because the island doesn't care whether you make it. Spoiler What you build is up to you. Aethmoor is a living world of hundreds of people who keep their own homes, jobs, and grudges; befriend them, fall in love, raise a family, or scheme your way over their backs. Trade goods across a real road map, weather famines and feuds, fight what stalks the wilds, and bend factions to your will until the castle's doors finally open. Every choice honest or ruthless, tender or cold bends the story toward your own ending.
