There hasn't been any updates for a long time, but the dev stated that this is still in development as of yesterday (21-04-2025). Therefore, I will consider it as early demo instead of finished product. Gameplay - 3,5/5 - Darkest dungeon on easy mode, there are some things that I hope to be ironed out for full game, like slow buff animation and balancing issues. There were some bugs crashing the game from time to time out of nowhere. Also, sometimes my characters attacked already defeated enemy (it could be intended). Music - ?/? - Turned off Art - 4/5 - Not exacly my thing, but quite good. Too bad there is so little CG. Pretty short as for now, but serviceable as a demo. I will wait to see if it updatess again.

Really good combat mechanics, It lacks a bit of explanation on how characteristics work and combat can be a bit slow with all the animation and debuff playing each turn. Leaving that on the side, I'd play this game just because the combat feels amazing, the main mechanic is very well thought and I can see a lot of potential with very few tweaks and a bit of content.

Very ambitious project. Might become the adult Darkest Dungeon that Jessika's Curse was promised to be. In it's current state though, it misses the mark in both the adult and the Darkest Dungeon part. Here are my current gripes: - The game is too easy, you have to actively try to lose to see the slime "scenes" (static images) - The timer system is way too over complicated, and leads to bugs. I've had a monster that died shortly before it's turn still attack me. I think a simple turn queue would be better. - A roguelike-style tree path is sort of pointless if most tiles do nothing and you can backtrack and just choose a different path That said, it's still a solid foundation considering this is "only" a demo.
