Spring For Uta

If you like Cheating or NTR from the perspektiv of the Female Protagonist this is a good game. Cool H-scenes with some corruption of the Protagonist. The otaku route was really cool. The Art Style was also pretty good.

The game itself is absolutely miserable. The translation is a mess, but looking beyond that everything in this is designed to waste your time. There's a plot about how the MC is a magazine model for her boyfriend, even though her moms strict and (GASP) doesn't approve, and how the other characters NTR her into stuff like helping her do cosplay/gravure photo shoot's. But it's paper thin and exactly what you expect. The loop of [Wake up, go to school, talk to somebody or go to work, go home, sleep] goes on for weeks with ZERO branches or choices from you until hour(s) into the game, and even that's just a "Who should I go to?" choice. It's almost a shame because the erotic stuff is actually quite good. Just that there's only a handful of scenes and they take so long to get to..

Good : some art is animated and decent Bad : pretty much everything else - gameplay : supposed to be point & click but becomes very evident very quickly you need to follow objectives very rigidly in order to progress and half of the options to click on are completely pointless, looking at you park and izakaya bar - mtl translation : horrendous. male mc is called Kokoro so most of the time it's translated to heart which is very confusing when heroine is talking to herself (not mentionning that her name is Shi so you get the literal translation 4) - Sexual stats : the only stat that the mc is increasing steadily during the story is the masturbation. At zero point in the gameplay are you allowed to increment any other stats unless locking you into one of the endings which is mind baffling since the story has elements of corruption but give you no activity to get groped or kissing by your own volition In conclusion, if the game had 3 times the amount of events it actually has to complement the gameplay and h-stats, it would have been a decent game. In it's current state, can't give a better rating than 2/5

With a proper translation, it could maybe reach 3 stars. But garbled mess of text and thus lack of story aside, the gameplay is needlessly tedious imo. It is listed as a point and click game, but it frequently requires clicking to leave one area, wait 10-20 seconds, click to move to the next area, wait 10-20 seconds etc. Overall, the gameplay feels laggy for a point and click VN. Art is okay albeit censored. But navigating the game is cumbersome with a lot of long load times that seem indicative of "well it works so no need to optimize it to run smoothly" and the story is near-unreadable in current MTL state. Recommendation: You aren't getting story anyway, so you might as well grab the gallery unlock that's posted or just look for a gallery elsewhere online.

On the upside, the art is alright, but that's about all the praise I can give it. The game is railroaded to a fault, forcing you through a specific series of events that'll probably take you well over an hour to get through if you're actually reading the text before you're actually allowed to make any real choices. The reading itself is real rough, with a shoddy MTL. I'm a seasoned veteran of this genre and can still understand most of what's presented, but the average person won't, and even though I understand it's still not enjoyable. The skip function is also not great, and not particularly fast. I didn't play through every route, but the jump in corruption was pretty extreme and forced. The main character was forced to engage in a series of photoshoots starting with face shots and ending with some lingerie, a pretty clear path of corruption but nothing too insane. Then her mother caught wind of it, called her a whore, and she decided that the best course of action was to go to her boyfriend's grandfather and start sucking his dick. They'd only had two interactions before this point, only one of which was even lewd. Maybe I missed something but I really felt as though there should've been at least 3 or 4 more events in between. Her "sex stats" were pretty much all zeroes, no kisses or anything, but then 1 "oral sex", which just feels like jumping the shark. Overall it's not the worst thing on this site, but it's just weak, watered down. It doesn't do corruption particularly well, it doesn't do female MC very well, and it doesn't do perspective shift NTR very well. It's as bland as something like this can be without being outright awful.
