Initial Release
Don't be fooled by the model work- they're pretty, but the author didn't even make them. It's a low-grade, cookie-cutter, glorified gallery with caveman-teir writing and no real player autonomy. You're better off just looking the dev up on r34- at least then you can navigate the spank bank better.
Star Wars is unfortunately a property that has a rough time getting a good game, and when i saw a game with TCW art style I thought it was just want i wanted. And dont get me wrong, the art style IS the best part of the game; unfortunately there is a sharp drop off in quality beyond the 5 heroines. The Good: - Pretty faithful TCW art style - The few animations (both SFW and NSFW) that are in here are good - Ashoka The Bad: - This game will just shit the bed and crash if you attempt any variation in what the dev intended the play order for this game (this is something that looks like the Dev may fix new chapters, so tbd) ; but the illusion of choice harms the actual playing of the VN. I will get to the end of a chapter and then it will slingshot me back to the planets menu and then back to the beginning or end of the chapter and then crash the game. - There is no heads up or instruction to avoiding the bad endings - while not game breaking (rollback is a thing), it still is annoying that i basically have to blindly click on options until i can progress the story. I won't classify NTR as a negative itself but I will say that having no heads up or actual way to avoid it will suck for the people who do like to see it - The dialogue, it's dry as hell, I'm not asking for a novel but some level of believability on why people do things - I think the only person that gets a semi good reason for "schobing on the knob" is Ayala because she was effected by the sith holocron. Everyone else just wanna PHUCK. Padme's is the most annoying, that chapter should just be about corruption - there is no good build up and then you just swoop in after they break up and she's a super freak. The Ugly: - The MC - I get "self-insert" but honestly I would rather get something close to resembling the clone wars style and being able to see eyes. The style difference between the heroines and the other male assets is jarring. Cartoony vs "realistic"/"uncanny valley". All in all - I would not recommend this until this game (currently v.o.5.o) is at least playable - hopefully this will be in the next update. But until then, the negatives right now outweigh the positives Edit: With v0.6.0, all of my critiques were for the most part, addressed. I personally didnt see any crashes in the game when moving from story to story and there was a more noticeable flow between each LI. So props there. The "Ask Ayala" prompts are a great way to direct the MC forward while not taking out the NTR content that some people may be looking for. Also other NTR content is subtly marked throughout the game with an objectively "BAD" choice for the MC to choose. And the dialogue feels reworked - obviously with the story being given a straight-ish path forward there is better flow in the story. I still have some reservations about the Padme dialogue but still Looking at this game favorably and would not be surprised if I change this review again for the better to reflect the changes the dev puts into this game. There is still room to improve, with spelling errors and what not, but that is a drop in the bucket compared to what was improved in 1 version. Best of luck dev
Edited to add version number: 0.5.0 Let's start with the good thing: The visuals are ok. A bit low in technical quality (a bit grainy, guessing low resolution and/or very compressed) and very few animations, but a fairly unique style. Not very many scenes, unfortunately. For those of you that care, the game has both romance scenes between MC and the female characters as well as bad endings where the female characters are raped or sold into slavery. As for the rest, the game is a mess. The story is awful both in the broad strokes and in the minor details. The story as a whole is incoherent, it's hard to gauge what is happening and what, if anything, fits together. It is not helped by the fact that in the introduction you are given a very short description of the three missions you can pick, but then when you get to the mission select screen you get a choice of five different mission. In its execution the writing is full of Engrish and typos. It is pretty much "hello i liek you" "I like yuor too" "u want sum fuk". Matching the story, a lot of the gameplay is nonsense. For example, infiltrating the enemy base together with Aayla Secura means picking between forward/right/left up to three times. Pick the correct option to net favourability points with her and continue to the next choice, pick the wrong option and you skip to the end sequence. Once you've picked the correct choice three times or the wrong choice once you get a final forward/right/left choice. Pick the wrong one and you get a game over with a very short "lol u dead" text. Pick the other wrong one and you two get captured, Aayla is raped, game over. Pick the correct one and you escape. During all of these choices there are literally no hints or indications which choice is the correct one and which is the wrong one, it's just pure pick a choice and roll back if it is not the outcome you want (thankfully rollback is enabled by default). Does that sound fun or immersive? The Aayla scenario is particularly egregious, but there are several other times in the game when you get the same style of choices (e.g. block left/right) with little or no indication of which choice is correct and which leads to a game over (often with a rape scene). As for the combat minigame, it is literally just dice rolls and no tactics in any real sense. Just click attack on the enemy with the least health until they are dead, and then switch to clicking on the enemy with the second least health. Thankfully the combat is easy, unless you voluntarily choose to handicap yourself by not taking a buddy with you into combat. Other than attacking, your only other option is to heal, but the healing restores basically as much as an enemy hits for and makes you lose your turn, which that it is meaningless if there is one enemy left or a losing proposition if there are several enemies left. The game is buggy as well. For example, there is nothing blocking of the Aayla mission once you have done it, so you can redo them several times by repicking the planet - which is extra confusing because in other cases repicking a planet nets a different outcome. Some dialogue choices you can repick infinite amount of times to pump up favourability/relationship points (not that they matter much). During the sex scene with the mandalorian girl I got an animation from a different scene. All in all, if the art style appeals to you I would say download the game and look at the pictures, but do yourself a favour and skip playing the actual game.
Star Warrior and Space Girls falls disappointingly flat. Despite its promising title, the game delivers neither the excitement of an interstellar battle nor the presence of the titular 'Space Girls.' Instead, players are left with a lackluster demo that offers minimal engagement and thrills. The absence of the promised female characters feels like a missed opportunity for diverse representation, further adding to the game's overall monotony. Even as a demo, it struggles to captivate or leave a lasting impression.
Hoo Lee Sheet, a game from 3D artist is quite something. So far there isn't much but a simple raw make game. Tho the animation and the character is worth the expectation. Exceptional and remarkable, similar to the original.
How did the v0.3 managed to have even less content than the v0.1 that already barely had anything, not even worth mentioning the terrible writing and very short and not at all enticing plotline, to not call it a total pile of flaming garbage. The only reason i played this was for my crush on clone wars ahsoka and although she does actually have a couple scenes in v0.1 this game is still very poorly made, can barely consider it a game even.
Am a bit disappointed there is no movement or animations to the title screen. The star background was a good touch, though. Thanks for the title crawl at the beginning to let us know what the story is. That this is two years into the war and that you have experienced two bloody years of destruction and became a Jedi knight. Also really liked the animation where you saw the Republic ship and a Jedi starfighter approach it. That was great. A bit of a nick-pick but a bit disappointed Captain Arvon does not give you his clone number. Thought they always gave that with their nickname. Did laugh when you call yourself MC. Have to say, LOVE that there is an actual combat system in this game. Granted, is very bare bones but just having a combat system is great. Actually puts the ‘game’ part in a ‘porn game.’ There is even battle music. Though am a bit disappointed the first battle had you fight two droids but their were five holograms of B1’s. Was tempted to give this game another star just on the combat system alone but did feel half baked. Also like the galaxy map. This helps make the galaxy feel bigger. This next part divides me. On one hand, is great you have the designs for the female characters so well done from the Clone Wars show. They really do look one-to-one. The problem is this is a porn game and just do not find their skinny designs as sexy as others. I want Aayla Secura’s boobs to be huge. Do like how you can choose to follow the clones into battle or your Jedi battle buddy. Am even kind of hoping this leads to different encounters depending on what forces you support. Like do the clones start to resent you if you spend all your time with other Jedi? Despite the positives, this game is still too early in development for me to rank it higher. The girls in the game like Ahsoka did not stand out so much. Could not remember any lines from them. Though did enjoy Ahsoka's battle practice. That not only fit the setting of keeping your skills sharp in a war but also showing how a woman of action Ahsoka is.
