Steam City is a Ren'Py narrative adventure from SparkTeam, presented with 3D CG artwork. It is set in a huge industrial city driven by steam and forbidden technology, where an ancient presence stirs below and Atherium binds the city's destiny to Nexaris who sense it. This fantasy tale has a paranormal undertone and a female protagonist. You take on Xira Vellhart, a young private detective, and work beside her father Alder as they investigate conspiracies, corruption, and oppressive dangers. Choices shape outcomes, and gameplay includes point-and-click and sandbox elements.
Development is ongoing. The current build is v0.6.2 The Auction Part 1, released October 10, 2026 for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android. It is available in English, Russian, and Spanish, with no censorship. The latest update adds a continued main story, over 300 new renders, new characters and music, added scenes and interactions, and corrected text or dialogue.
