About Strange App
Strange App is an HTML adult puzzle game by Aulus. You play Nathan, a bartender whose life is linked to a cute pastel app that begins as harmless fun. After sharing it, the program watches, learns, and gradually reshapes what he and the people around him desire. The story is framed by Professor Tanaka’s experiment to address a declining population, while Nathan is treated as a test subject. Each run starts with a random coin flip that selects one of several groups of friends, and animated scenes mix corruption and mind control as choices affect tracking, sync, and directives.
The current build is v2.1, released August 20, 2026, and development remains active. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, with no censorship. The latest update rebuilt the prologue, introduced a fourth randomly chosen starting group, changed portraits, and expanded Duo Scenes by thirteen. During Tracking Resonance, players can now select a random Duo scene. After Nathan’s sync reaches completion, he can select directives directly.

How far will you let it go before you realize you're not the one playing anymore? Spoiler The population is decling, fast. A mad doctor decided to take matters into his hands. He has created an app designed specifically for this purpose. Nathan, a normal guy working as a bartender with a loving family and friends, is a perfect subject for the first trial test. Every game begins with a coin flip. Will you share the app with your Besties (Lulu, Demi, Alex) or your Home Squad (Jewelz, Emily, Haley)? The choice is random, making each playthrough start differently. The other group remains reachable—but harder to bring into the fold. Each night, Professor Tanaka will observe a subject playing.
