Study in Paris

TERIBLE low level + low effort sandbox game. Sandbox games are already horribly boring, but this game makes the sandbox disadvantage even worse. Despite the mission objectives are written on the phone, it's not too terribly clear what you're supposed to do all the time. Animations are terrible, story is basic, renders are poorly executed. I think this could 100x better if just the SLIGHTEST level of effort and planning went into it. I understand this game wasn't originally written in English, or that English isn't the author's native language, that's fine! English isn't my first language either, Spanish is, so I understand that part! It's everything else that makes it seem like this is the author's first ever game where he just seems clueless as to makes an interesting and engaging game for anyone with any level of patience. 1 star is too much for this

Become French aims to be an interactive VN which gives the player choices. Unfortunately, it falls flat with linear paths, forced waiting, and a clunky UI. Where similar VNs offer a room/map UI, this one makes you click room to room. Completely respectable that the developer speaks English as a second language, the game direly needs a translation partner as pronouns are mixed and sentence structure is rough. I think a few tweaks of this game can go a long way and I hope to see the dev really step it up in their next releases. Unfortunately v0.4 wasn't ready for release.

There is no flow to the game at all. You have no idea of what to do, you can only go around and maybe get lucky enough to see something to click on to get a scene. The game in it's current state would be a first start alpha release at best. Get the game a little better developed before you post it.

Short summary: Skip this game. Play only if you enjoy the phenomenal dialogues, like: “Let’s go to the kitchen.
