Tales of Virginia is a 2D CG adventure game made by silent4 with the Others engine. It presents a fantasy setting where the peaceful Kingdom of Virginia is invaded by its former ally, the Kingdom of Stoalt. You follow Prince Lane, whose body is changing into someone else, as he flees with soldiers, faces a vampire ambush in a village, and tries to recover his kingdom. A girl from an unknown tribe shows up to fight the vampires, and Lane leads his forces while investigating the mystery of his transformation. The game uses turn-based combat against monsters.

Developer's description

Prince Lane of Virginia was confused. His body was turning to that of somebody else. The Kingdom of Virginia was enjoying a peace for long time. One day, the Kingdom is attacked by their long-time ally, the Kingdom of Stoalt. Virginians were overwhelmed by the massive army. Prince Lane fled to a village with his soldiers, but was ambushed by vampires there again. Vampires are equipped with special skills and able to brainwash humans. In this crisis, a girl from an unknown tribe appears and fight against vampires. Lane leads his army to solve the mystery of his transformation and gets his Kingdom back.

i really loved the game, it was quite fun to play it, i'm quite sure it's inspired by Fire Emblem and it's really well done, quite fast to end up but still the last map with the last boss was…

TLDR: Great SRPG gameplay with a lot of depth but a bit too easy, totally bug free afaik, and skip-worthy dialogue. Gameplay is... almost perfect. It has all the ingredients a good SRPG is made of: different terrain, different enemy…
