I enjoyed this game a lot. It's well thought and the idea of characters speaking with emojis is fresh and fitting. A good balance of challange and reward and a nice graphic. I wish there was more content.
Not that bad a game but it lacks story and dialogs, its a shitload of repeats and story can go to shit pretty fast, like when you have never fucked Cat and you make her a necklace it goes stright for to MC putting the necklace in her pussy and anal fucks her, it just made 0 sense. Game is 100% kinetic/linear you have no choice but to follow a set questline, meaning your forced to be with weird things which i seriously dident want, like the bimbo girl with a bottom half of the body being an octopus, im just not into that shit and it truely should be optional.....dont know what went through the devs mind thinking its fine forcing that shit on players, you cant progress if you dont....idiotic... To make it even more stupid MC already as a cute catgirl who hates the octo bitch and dont want MC to go to her and MC only thinks about this new bimbo bitch and how he can get closer to her? now he couldent care less about hes current girl.....MC is also so clueless that he dont understand why Cat is mad rofl, but MC cant stop thinking about the octo girl that he dosent even know it just makes for a shitty story....hate games like this where you have 0 controle or choice. Not sure what killed it for me, the lack of story, the shitty story that was there, the brainless MC lusting for all, the lack of a hint system telling you wtf your supposed to do next, the constant grind and repeats, meet new girl and grind starts all over with the same boring mini games that never should have been there and same goes for the mini games doing sex scenes i mean wtf let people enjoy the scenes instend of having to play some stupid mini game, theres just to much that i personaly dident like... The only thing i did like was the survival aspect of the game that was pretty good but the rest no. Animations are okish, nothing special and feels a bit outdated.
This game is quite a long journey, as the repetitive task of collecting resources makes it rather tedious. There are some unclear or unfinished instructions that require me to figure things out on my own, which takes additional time. The girls are really attractive, but the intimate scenes are not very appealing and fail to spark my interest, much like the mini-games too. Although the storyline is fairly good, it ends abruptly, and there are certain scenes that I still cannot access, which is confusing. Overall, it deserves a rating of 3.5 - 4 at best, and you might want to give it a try?
I've played 1.1.2 with addon. The good - the story overall is fun. Stupid but fun. The graphics is simple but very pleasant to eye. The style is consistent. The girls are enjoyable. There are very simple mini games inside game that push story forward. I wasn't able to reveal all sex scenes. The scenes itself are like the game. Simple but fun to watch. The game is quite long but not because of content but the bad part (see below). Technically game is very good, works fast, load fast, no crashes. The bad - you collect and collect and collect. Little tedious. Overall -4 stars I recommend to play.
A pretty fun survival-crafting game. It's point and click gameplay-wise and has a decent difficulty curve with basic necessities becoming easier to acquire and the big stuff just taking more resources to build. The game starts with food being scarce and you have to spend the whole day just finding something to eat, but then develops into building stuff and stockpiling so that you can take it easier and I found it to not be taxing like most of the genre is to me. The artwork is about as good as the preview images suggest, but it's clear that a lot of work and passion went into making this game and it shows in the gameplay and dialogue. If you don't hate point-and-click games or survival-crafting elements, give it a try.
it's a fun, good looking game that kept me entertained. most of the women are kinda samey, and the emojis are annoying at times, but i love the art style and the depth of the content. i was a little put off by the grind, but i've read that changing the difficulty level helps with that, so maybe that's my fault. ps: i'm a litle scared that the sequel seems to have lost the cartoon look, but i'm happy to see more from the developer.
The game does alot of things really well, and is quite unique for a porn game. It handles the setting of being stranded on an island really well, collecting materials is work but its never too grindy and it isnt that hard to juggle your water/food with progressing the story. The dialogue is really unique, in the sense that the game is 100% emoj, which i thought was really smart considering the girls are feral and wouldnt know a language, so theres a plot reason for the game being that way, you need to teach the girls emojis too in order to communicate, which is a good idea but is limited, because you only really use it for a very limited number of things. The biggest flaw of the game is definitely the minigames, some of them are fun but most are tedious, require WAY too much time and get old quick. Thankfully most have the option to be skipped but theres one in particular when your first taming the catgirl that can't and takes an unreasonably long amount of time even though its easy. The scenes are good when theyre there, but there's a very limited amount of them, which is a shame because the art is really good, there's alot of teasing because most of the characters are always naked (they're stranded on an island so duh) but theres very few scenes with actual penetration. So there's alot of work for little reward. Other than those two things the game is great, it isn't too long or difficult, but the amount of scenes is lacking, and some of the minigames are -although easy- very annoying.
the gameplay is good, i found this game very funny to play. I liked also the idea of changing the dialogs in just emoji. the problem is that there are few animations of sex and a lot of gameplay, and these animations are also pretty bad and too "stiff".
I was a patron from November 2020 to July 2022. I stopped supporting the project because the first story arc was over, not because I didn't enjoy it. As others have pointed out before, it's exclusively a game . That's the key. If you're looking for a porn or an adult visual novel, you'll be disappointed. If you want fun with mini-games, a fresh story with some spicy moments, and a really good communication system using emoticons and almost hieroglyphic images, give it a chance. The team of developers deserves it. I've rarely seen so much dedication and attention to the backers in a project that barely gave money. Manka Games team, I wish you the best.
The unique art style at the beginning was what attracted me to the game. After playing some time I could say that the Pros: The art style is nice The survival mechanics are nice for a renpy game. Make it feel more gamey and of course it is always fun to feel the progression I appreciate that at least some of the minigames are skippable, else it would be very frustrating The idea where you learn to communicate with the cat it cool Cons: The animation is mostly a stretching/distorting of the image Becomes grindy after some time. And it is annoying when you have to do many clicks to get somewhere just to pick up some resource, and the pickup also has some progress bar. There is no actual reason for this progress bar except just to prolonging the game. This was annoying to some degree.
First of all i really enjoyed the art and concept. Also emoji language for monster girls is amazing idea small detail but i really liked it. Furthermore story is realy cool... BUT... In the beginning it starts great, grinding, story, crafting, sex it gives everything just as it has to be. Sadly, after a while lack of sexual content pimp slapped me... I mean game has such a good foundation, it has lots of locations and spots to seize the opportunity somehow but most of them just feels like placeholders. Additionally there are some issues in minigames like misslocated hotspots and not working properly but it didnt bother me much.
For me is one of the worst games i have played, for real. The scenes are bad, because the controls to "control" the scene are horrible, so its a very bad sex game. And i can accept that But the gameplay itself is a challenge to having fun, most of the time you are waiting for a bar to fill, and thats all,for real , this would gain a star only if the gathering was instant. Then the minigames. The fishing game is ok, but the find the cat girl is horrible and you have to do it like 15 f times. the touching in the night is not only bad but weird: if you move quickly is bad , if you go slow good, but sometimes it doesnt work so you have to wait that the alert goes down... slowly, and thats all.
I played this as of the 1.1.2 patch. I completed the main portion of the game but I can't say that it was time well spent. The gameplay was tedious and most of the time annoying. I was interested enough to see where the plot went but it turns out it was nowhere interesting. The h-scenes where you have to move your mouse back and forth is another annoyance. The art is nice but not enough the justify the rest of the issues. Overall I would recommend passing on playing this game. A fair amount of time investment for a bad payoff.
I loved the game. This was not a visual novel, but a proper game. Story was nice and short, characters were great, game mechanics were good. No major flaws in the game. Maybe the rewards (Sexy scenes) vs playtime could have been a bit more. But ultimately the sexy time was also entertaining. I guess my only complaint was that I think it could have done with a bit more story and more sexy scenes. A good solid game. Highly recommended.
I will have to agree with pretty much all the one to two star ratings. The art is good and interesting, the plot is interesting and somewhat inviting. But the damn grinding is too much to bare. Not only that the minigames are such a pain. I remember when this game first came up and how excited I felt waiting for it to be completed to play through the whole game. Only to be stuck at the freaking drawing of the map. Because for some reason the 'ink' wont respond to my clicking. I do hope that a sequel comes out and the devs can change their formula.
It's alright. Leans heavily into survival stuff, which can be fun at times but also potentially grindy. I played on the easiest difficulty setting, I imagine in other settings you're just going to run into more grinding. But on easy things progress smoothly enough until the endgame, where you have to collect a ton of resources with basically no plot advancement. There's also a lot of minigames which are pretty boring but mostly skippable. The use of emojis rather than text is an interesting choice, which I think worked well enough but it does limit the plot and character interactions to a certain degree of simplicity. I wasn't able to understand what was happening in the endgame... when the MC finally finds the human girl she just kinda disappears on him until she gets kidnapped? The payoff in terms of sex scenes is pretty slow, and there aren't too many of them and they don't have much variety. Not sure about why an octopus girl was chosen as the second monster girl.. maybe a Patreon whale was into that? But she added almost nothing to the game. Also there's an add-on that is baffling in its pointlessness... you go to an island and there's some cool new music and scenery, but then you collect some resources and leave and that's it? Feels like this was made out of scrapped assets for some larger part of the game. I do look forward to the sequel, but my advice to the creator would be to just cut out the time-wasting minigames and resource grinding and replace them with actual interesting choices about resource management. And yes, more girls with more distinct scenes... the art is actually pretty nice, but there just needed to be more of it.
Fuck this game. It's hard to put into words how much grinding you need to go through. And to make things worse the quests are unintuitive as hell. Dev says game gives you hints but if you click too fast when you start the quest it's goodbye because there's no rollback and MC will never mention it again. There's no hint button and you need to go to every area (which btw that means clicking on each arrow to move) and try every action until you find a solution.
Tame It! is a point and click adventure game with an insane amount of grinding. I really want to like this game and consider it a recommend, the art is handmade and nice, the few girls have actually some depth to them, making you actually caring for them (the entire point of a game of this genre) and the scenes are nice, albeit kinda weird with the "jelly" animation style. Even the music is nice, it had everything to be a very good game, but then you get to the grinding. Since protag is in a stranded island you have to build a lot of things alone, and that require an enormous amount of rocks, leaves, bamboo, and many other random stuff. And on top of that there are food meter, water meter, food for girl 1 meter, food for girl 2 meter. I get it when games require a bit of grinding for relationship points, because usually you can see the evolution of said relationship, but here is just mindless grinding for consumables and having to deal with annoying necessity bars. It really kills the pacing of the game. Despite having a nice story, good (but not great) scenes, the game lacks more kinks and the absurd material collection ruins it.
I remember playing it a while back and quitting almost immediately after realising it's one of those Russian/East European sandbox games where you need to "earn" sex scenes by clicking things on a screen for nine hours. Can't say it's improved much if at all. You can turn difficulty down which makes resources plentiful but the sandbox grind itself is just as pointless and annoying and time-consuming whatever setting you choose. The story itself: you're introduced to and have sex with a waifu right at the start and then the plot separates her from the PC for no good reason. The rest, and most, of the story is about PC's quest to reunite with her while meeting and "taming" two side waifus along the way. The story is both anti-climactic and predictable - not a good combination at all, especially for a porno gaem. But what's really bad is you need to do painful sandbox grind to see more of it. The art ranges from excellent to mediocre. The intro blonde waifu stands out by quite a margin. Some anims are okay but most are bad and in fact worsen the fappability of the art rather than complementing it. In conclusion, it'd have been good if the dev stuck with a good old island survival story featuring the two starting characters and kept the grind at bare minimum. As it is, I can't play it let alone fap. 4 stars for the art (especially the blonde), -3 for everything else.
Very original idea to communicate everything in game using emoji's, but because of that many times i was totally lost. I've played on one of the earlier patches so I'm not sure how the game is gameplay wise but when i played it was kinda grindy and boring.
