Taste of Life is a Ren'Py adult visual novel by Daruko. You play a male protagonist returning to his hometown after five years studying abroad. With a degree but no clear personal goals, he reconnects with familiar people while searching for what his own life should be. The game uses 3D rendered, animated scenes and follows a romance-focused story with cheating as one of its themes.
The current build is v1.0, dated March 11, 2023, and development is ongoing. It is available for Windows, Mac, and Android in English, without censorship. The latest update recommends starting a new game and reports a large revision: more than 810 older renders and 140 older animations were remade, 130 new renders and 20 new animations were added, and over 600 new dialogue lines were included, along with edits and typo fixes.
