-Continuation of "Serial Thrilla" quest. To access use the phone in your room.
-New pop-up screen that will inform player when they have reached the end of content.
-A minor retcon of a dialogue option when talking to Joey during the "Holding Out For A Hero". No functional change, but different dialogue that will be referenced by new lines by Joey and other characters.
-Player can no longer use mesmerizing dialogue options if choosing them would result in negative energy.
v0.9312
-Fixed missing music and audio effects in 0.9311
v0.9311
-Fixed save game compatibility.
v0.931
-Can call Detective Grimes from the phone in your room.\n-Can visit Violet Lips club to talk to Jenny.:
v0.9302:
-Fixed all found issues with Power stat from the previous version - the game won't crash on taking traits any more and players won't be robbed of some of their power points
-Reverted changes to backend from 0.9301
-Added an option to add a name to your saved games.
-Some optimization fixes, typos, some code cleanup etc.
-Additional functionality added to Character screen
-Traits have been remade.
v0.9301:
-Fixed some code issues, inconsistencies and typos
v0.930 change log (compared to 0.92)
-New story chapter! it ends when you are teleported back to your room.
-A ton of back end code has been reworked and recompiled. if you are using any mods it's possible you may have to disable them, or even start the game from the beginning, or wait for them to be patched.
-Retroactively changed some choices. when you load your game if you made some choices you'll be presented with the menu to re-do them. it's explained in more detail inside the game
-Added additional glossary information giving the player an idea of their progress with different NPC's
-Expanded inventory interface to include shopping interface as well (not currently usable ingame)
Known bugs/issues:
-Player preferences do not persist after closing the game and Load Game menu always defaults to first page. To temporarily circumvent this issue, you can set up preferences in any of the older versions if you still have them installed and then use the new version.
-There is a chance that loading a save file from a previous version would result in an error about ren'py not being able to find a valid rollback. That is unfortunately due to limitation of the engine when dealing with large code changes (as there were in this release). If that happens, you can try loading a later or earlier save file. Tip: you can also check the Autosaves tab for additional save games that may be valid.
-One of the player choices has flipped results. No effect on the game, will be fixed in next release.
v0.92:
-CoreTech building not being available for exploration was (hopefully) fixed. I was unable to replicate issue on my end even when loading broken saves so I re-applied new values and gave it to people that had broken saves. so far the fix works, so hopefully it's solved.
-fixed Ciara being called Claire in some new scenes
-fixed interaction that flipped negative consequences to be more severe when passing skill check instead of other way around
-fixed some typos
v0.91:
Implemented quests "Meeting the Boss", "Testing the Waters" and "Lessons in Spirituality".
v0.81:
-Fixed the issue where starting "Psychology 101" quest resulted in visuals being unresponsive in certain conditions.
v0.8:
-Old saves no longer work. When trying to load them, the game informs players of that and boots them into main menu
-Quests "Psychology 101" and "School's in" are implemented- to start them go to the new position on the map - Hospital - for the "School's in" and for "Psychology 101" you first need to not have chased away Claire, and then either call her by phone from your room (phone is intractable in v0.8), or go to the new location on the map - Coffee Shop.
-Glossary entries are now marked whenever new information is either added or updated
-Skill checks and Character affinity/trust checks now show up as successful and failed. The message has been automated (was semi-automatic before), and instead of manually calculating the possibilities of players clearing the checks the system now works in 5 tiers of difficulty: None, Trivial, Easy, Medium, Hard, with each tier representing 20 percentile of maximum number of possible points a player could achieve up to that point. So a Hard skill roll for Prowess would require player to gather 80% of all of the skill points in #hat category. The whole system is remade and I think I changed every variable where it was needed, but I may have missed some, so if you spot something wrong with choices feel free to inform me
-Added extra values in all classes. the reason y'all had to reboot the game from the start was because a functionality that I wanted to implement couldn't be implemented without adding a new value into a particular class, breaking the game in the process. so hopefully adding a dummy value to all classes should help with dealing with that in the future if I ever decide to change up something else like that
v0.71:
-fixes
v0.7:
-new main story segment
v0.62
-fixing a potential gamebreaking issue and a bunch of typos
v0.6
-finishing the Papers Please quest and proceeding with the story
v0.51
-optimized image size - I could convert images into .webm lossless version for a 40% reduction in image size for the same visuals, but I opted for drastically reducing size for a minor reduction in quality. if you think it's too much of a sacrifice feel free to let me know as it is easy to convert them back
-added a couple of sound effects, visual effects, a minor bugfix, 1 point of power that I missed (retroactive), did some minor re-balancing, re-touching of some screens and a couple of successful skill check confirmations that I missed
In this release 2 quests are resolved - The Key Ingredient and True Rulers (and you finally get paid for the old one). To access the quests you can leave the MC's apartment and visit either Zoey or Shevaun.
After you finish both quests in any order you should get the end of content message followed by credits and return to the exploration section. Should work on both old and new games.
To enable the walkthrough, drop the file in the /game folder and enable it from the preferences menu (there should be a new on/off switch for it showing up there).

Was quite interested in this while back (2ish years?) when I tried it, but I'm not joking when I say there's only about 30 minutes of new content since then. I had high hopes for this one, but the rate its progressing its either going to end soon and majorly disappoint, or we'll see it hit the half way mark by 2035. This one bummed me out.
Pros: Fairly well-written characters with their own personalities and agendas. A MC who is neither super-powerful right off the bat, nor a complete loser. Reasonably attractive love interests A fairly engaging storyline and lots of choices Acceptable render quality. Cons: Very few sex scenes, and those are incredibly basic. Slow romance with main LI Pace of updates has slowed a lot - if this keeps up, it will be several years before there's enough content.
The greatness of a games falls to the last in line when in a year of no update the content added is like 20 minutes of gameplay. this has no excuse and i dont give a fk about what dev says, a year is a lot of time waiting, i was considering pledge after the next update but i will never do it, its a fucking shame, truly a fucking shame, i loved the game
Release Status: 0.9350 Gameplay Sandbox. Probably the one word a lot of people hate to hear. Unfortunately, this is another game where the sandbox elements, at the end, do not add anything to the game apart from having more clicks. Story only continues after you do ALL the quests, it also does not seem to matter in which order you do them. So the whole sandbox element ist just there to tell you which areas you are NOT able to visit in its current state. Not very fun or engaging. I get that people want to add some kind of gameplay element to their VNs, but having sandbox just for the sake of it, does not add anything except frustration. Next is the bloat of mechanics. Again, I get it that you try to add some meat and bones to the game by adding mechanics, but at the end, having a ton of mechanics that are barely used just distracts from the rest with no added value. Maybe it has more relevancy in the future, but that does not matter if it feels useless now and pushes potential fans away. Story & Characters I am biased, I am into vampire stuff, so this tickles my fancy. The story is actually pretty engaging, certainly no masterpiece, but on a good "standard" level that is fun to read. Characters are fine. MC is a bit of a wet blanket, but it is really hard to do a "from zero to hero" story and make the MC actually seem competent. As much as I think they portrayed a situation like that pretty realistically (we want the MC to be competent, but let's be real, if we were suddenly pushed into such a situation in real life, we all would piss our pants at first), but I think it is not a stretch to say that it just feels bad to play, when the MC is a bit of a whiny bitch, at least in the beginning. There are some first developments towards him being more competent, so I am hoping for the best. Adult Content barely any in it. But the few scenes there are, are fine. Nothing too special, but also nothing too bad. It does have the harem tag but it does not feel like it going into the direction. but who knows. Visuals & Audio Decent visuals and audio. Not much to say really. Technical Performance worked fine for me. TL;DR: Pros engaging story decent visuals it got them vampires Cons sandbox.... ... that does not add any value to the gameplay mechanics bloat MC start out being a wet blanket Final Verdict Definitely worth keeping an eye on and I hope there are more updates coming.
I have to just say this. As for game, it's ok, a bit of Masquerade vibe but Oh Boy, -3 stars instantly for the beta male boy thats supposed to be the MC. The insecurity alone in his veins should be cause for every unnatrual creature and 50% of the human population to rip his head off in an instant. This is not a functional man, he stutters and flusters and if theres ever a patch for kink it'd be that he can start wearing a diaper. A good game set back by a god awful mess of a MC. Edit: Now at the endof this current content i have some thoughts.. Basically how MC feels and operates is a guy so insecure that whenever he has options, he'll always pick the worst one. Even IF it seems logical, just because he chooses it,he fails. It's like he's written by a melanchoic guy, mid 20's who never had a gf, never had any friends, never succeeded at anything and every social interaction is drving him back into the shell. (Y-yes, M-maybe, W-why.. he stutters and covers every dialogue, he's truly pathetic) The only few moments he's truly successful, is when thats written into the story and he's being brilliant by default, because narration said so. As he reaches the end of his scion schtick, the lady tells him he's no longer clanless etc, praises him for how he handles himself better than most outcasts.. It made me see what a utterly pathetic, inept and laughable bunch these vampires are - if he sets the high bar. For the story which isn't great, it's ok, you can go with it, theres questions you will want answers to so it keeps you going. I give it 5-(mc) tho because the MC alone is a strong -3, even a -4, so this doesn't end up impossible to rate. and a +1 for effort i guess, anyone doing this needs that personal praise cause it's obviously hard work and credit where it's due.
I had played this game back in 2022 but I wanted to wait for more development before playing it again, so I waited 3 more years and started it from scratch 2 days ago and I was very pleasantly surprised. Everything is well rendered and well written, finally! The best of both worlds! I have to admit that I’m not a big fan of vampire stories/novels/movies, but this game, while primarily focusing on the vampire underworld, also focuses on everything else, including politics, feelings and romance. And while it’s tagged as a Sandbox game, it’s not, really not, you have a quests list, sure, but you just click on a location and do the quest, end of the story. The only problematic part is the stats/points system, quite complex, but if you use LightmanP’s mod, then problem solved, you pass the necessary requirements. It’s also important to note that this is not a fap game , there is very little lewd content and it feels more natural than most AVN out there, the MC is not a walking dick and this is very refreshing! The only negative comment I could make is about MC’s face, he’s not ugly but he’s far from handsome either.
Was very impressed by the game. Writing is very decent and goes way higher than the average high-rated AVN on F95. The story is very well written, has deep lore, interesting unique characters with believable behavior, and rich backstory. Visuals are decent, character models are very nice and on point, nicely representing the personalities of the characters that stand behind them. MC here is very likable and relatable; I sympathized with his behavior and how he reacted and dealt with situations that were brought on him. There is not a lot of lewd content, but what it has is done on a decent level; the depiction and writing make them very intimate and logical, if I can say it like that. I mean, there is no braindead portioning like: handjob, blowjob, some otherjob and only then make them have sex, just to stretch lame, uninteresting character and relationship with her for eternity just for milking, because here interest in the game/character goes way beyond the simple fact if MC dicked in the latest update some popular girl or not. Depending on the situation, if characters feel like it or close enough, or understandably ready for it, they will go straight to business and fuck each other, you know, like in real life without any bullshit, child's play, etc. This is the best vampire game that I played with definitely one of the most mature writings among today's AVNs. This game is definitely underrated.
A super underrated game, with complex plot that have been given its due justice both in its theme and execution of its characters and also how sprawling the plot feels. There are issues with the game i.e, limited number of render, lack lustre lewd scene, but that should not distract you from the commendable job this game3 is achieving in its feats of storytelling juggling a so many plot at once sand doing justice to all of them,. i especially like how sexual relationship and intimacy are not taken for granted , in fact the most active sexual relationship of mc is more akin to a transaction than any real achievement in intimacy and relationship building. The special appreciation must be given to flash back scenes that are both unique and show the ambitious scale of the game to tackle many themes in bite sizes. It is still very early given the scale of the game. I would love to play this game in its completed form, but as of now with what already exits. I can't give it anything less than 4.6/5 Edit: Another bonus point in its favour is that it is the only sandbox done right
Once again, a great premise and setup, only to be really stagnant. For one, the sandbox and stats make it more complicated than it needs to be. The mods unfortunately can only do so much. The affection and trust system is also something that is almost impossible to modify on the whim. The developer certainly tried their hardest to make it unmodifiable or complicated. Also, there's a harem tag, although I'm not sure why it maintains one, it seems like the developer is hesitant and sitting on the fence with it. Meanwhile, the characters, especially Zoey, shows absolutely no interest in anything as such. Finally, the MC is supposed to be this legendary, powerful vampire in the making, yet is consistently stumbling around the story and not really making use of these numerous stats/traits/etc. that we have. They are quite constantly pushed around and whines a lot. In conclusion, I'd recommend either choosing to have a harem path or not, this ambiguity ruins the appeal, simplify the stats system (it's overtly complicated), have the MC be more proactive, confident, and actually fulfill the role of being this legendary being with incredible potential. And of course, the sex content is not as much as it'd take to make this grueling journey worth it. It's unfortunate, I am, like many others, a big fan of vampire fantasy. Yet, this is more running around doing tasks for others while figuring out your powers, yet doing nothing with them. I hope it improves greatly in future updates.
The Bite : Revenant v0.9322 Loved this one enjoyed the story and characters. I love vampire themed games. And this is my fav here. There is sound effects to immerse in game. Sandbox is not grindy it's easy sandbox. Maybe Dev should have made this as a VN. Many avid the game solely because of sandbox. Loved the story plot + Story + Characters + Easy sandbox + Sound effects - stats system ( at some points there is stats check. We can't focus on all stats in one playthrough i used mod so it's ok ) Overall i enjoyed this one. Keep up the good work dev looking forward to next updates.
Has a lot of potential, but feels like it's lost in the weeds... Realistically, this game is probably around a 3.5/5, but did not deserve to be rounded up to 4 stars considering it's release schedule. It's 3.5 years old now, and it only just finished setting the table for the main plot. Way too long to get into the meat and potatoes of its narrative structure. At the current pace it feels like a game that will either take ten years to fully release, or end up abandoned or with a horribly rushed and railroaded ending. For what it is, The Bite is pulpy. If you expect incredible literary spark, it's not there. It's yet another urban fantasy vampire story with the MC being this extra special fledgling vampire. You've seen this story before, and probably better. But in terms of pulp, it's actually pretty palatable pulp. The story keeps you engaged and it's suspenseful enough that you want to keep reading.. In other words, it's good enough to keep going, not good enough to be particularly memorable. There are very few really good, fleshed out characters in the story. Zoey is probably the best — but even she starts to feel more preachy and two-dimensional as the game goes on — though most of the characters are decent as simulacrums. They present a good facade, even if there's not much underneath. Not all of it is the fault of the characters, however, who may well have more layers than they show. The MC being a bit of a wet blanket ultimately hampers a lot of the storytelling. A lot of stories like to start the character from zero, so you have the classic RPG feel of a zero to hero, but a lot of storytellers underestimate how hard it is to make that kind of main character compelling. Sure, it has a ready-made story structure, which allows you to paint by numbers, but it also needs a good hook to really grab you. A hook that this game fails to deliver. For the most part, the MC is window dressing. He's the classic blank slate main character with a thin backstory and the occasional wisecrack. But ultimately he's just kind of there, ready for the next round of worldbuilding exposition to knock him over while he's a passive ride-along for his own story. You don't need to make the MC into a power-gaming fledgling vampire calling the shots (then again, you don't really need the MC to be a fledgling at all), but it really does feel like, despite this being a sandbox, you have no real agency. Even when the game is broken down into a number of individual quests, the only way to progress forward in the main story is to do them all. In other words, it just feels like a linear VN with extra clicks. And with how clunky the inventory management and navigation system in this game is, it's a lot of extra clicks. Sometimes the developer struggles to balance the visual part of the visual novel. There's a lot of words, a lot of exposition that creates a fairly interesting backdrop for this urban fantasy. But you end up just wishing it could be delivered better. Often you're just not really engaged in the the actual render at all, and end up just scrolling through the text. Admittedly, the writing is solid despite not being spectacular, so you're willing to read through it, but it just feels like wasted potential in terms of setting the table in a more interesting manner. The main issue with the story is the amount of setup versus actual action. Almost nothing actually happens. For as much worldbuilding as the game does about warring clans and different factions and ancient vampires circling around like vultures, the cast of characters is both rather small and the interactions with them sporadic and mundane. So little excitement happens that when we finally get something , like Emilia nearly killing Zoey, it almost feels jarring and out of place. The story feels like very sporadic moments of tension overlaid across a very flat narrative. Renders in this game could also be significantly better. For an obligate nocturnal creature, the MC must have some absolutely awful night vision, because many scenes are so dimly lit that you can't even see what's going on and rely on the text to tell you what's happening. VN pages should almost never be rendered that dark, even for scenes taking place in the darkness. There are ways to convey a sense of darkness without actually making everything nearly impossible to see. In terms of lewd scenes, they're few and far between. Most of them are very short, linear, and unanimated. They're just okay , but for how much build up there often is to get one, it's often unsatisfying. Still, the game is worth playing for the worldbuilding, enough to offset, as of now, the relatively infrequent and uninspired adult content. Ultimately, this game is an example of a game where the worldbuilding is by far the strongest aspect. It's a slowburn — both in terms of the MC's relationships with the other characters and the overarching plot at large — that tells rather than shows, has fairly unmemorable characters, a limp noodle for an MC, and horrible (and completely superfluous) RPG stats, but the gritty, modern urban struggles of a young, extra special vampire caught between warring clans is interesting enough to carry so much of the game on its back, for now. It's Gotham with vampires, and you're currently hoping that the MC lives long enough to become Bruce Wayne.
Weak 5 or strong 4 out 5 here, easily the best vampire game on site. (only one in active development?) Came for the lewds, stayed for the story. It bears the inspiration front and center, and considering how starved that fanbase are, NP from me. + Story and premise is good. Odd things are happening and are MC an accidental bystander of events unfolding, or is there more here? + World-building to support the story + Music, ambient is on point. It sets the mood. + Varied bunch of characters that seems to be interested in the MC, going for one is going to be hard. + Sandbox could be way worse, people have not seen the worst if they complain here. Following is a matter of taste, not really a negative in grand scheme. +/- Stats system has not convinced me to be worth the potential hassle of development time. I foresee headache, what does the armchair developer know. (I think I would solved it by having player pick a major and minor skill, however current system lets you level up by use?) +/- Looting of items are bit questionable as well, time will show if it's executed well (perhaps I have missed stuff to be fair). - Could be more lewds - I like the game so much it bothers me to wait on it
Review made by a non-English speaker. (sorry for any grammatical errors) This has to be the best vampire game I've ever played, its story is quite interesting despite being the typical story where the protagonist is special from birth. Aspects to highlight; good use of humor. It is quite dense in terms of the amount of dialogue and very few sexual scenes, which depending on who you may not like. Interesting characters with personality which makes you want to know their story. Although it contains sandbox aspects in its gameplay, these are minimal, which does not make for a frustrating gaming experience.
VERSION: 0.9321 SUMMARY: Started great, once, a great concept, story, narrative has practically ground to a halt, which is so sad. This game was for me the best take on a modern day vampire society. *yells into pillow PROS: Models are decent looking, females are rather sexy, MC is ok, not too bad. (at least for when this game was released initially) Story is good, vampires and much intrigue, this game caught me when it came out and back then it was one I would look often on for new updates. Decent renders Pacing is good also Characters are interesting and writing is good Music is a nice touch RPG style game mechanics are nice BUT! (see cons) CONS: Abilities and interface is just shit, the developer started on this but never really implemented it completely let alone well. Navigation in the game is still old and outdated, quick navigation is a must for sandbox or free roam kind of games. Game feels unpolished and the effort just seemed to vanish since the initial release. Dated look for a game that has still not completed. In terms of lewd, what is there is not bad at all, but its vanilla and lewd is more an after thought and takes backstage to the story. If done right, this could make the game very good, but here its just not... Few and far between updates with little to no content. FINAL THOUGHTS: Great premise and story, interesting characters and the sky was the limit but the developer dropped the ball and the game just never got frequent updates with meaningful and enough content. No real content that fleshed out the ability system, the UI was fully developed The skills and abilities never get used and while the ideas are good its pointless, its also a waste of time to try and build this for a VN imo. If you skilled, able, have time or funds to develop a game decently the sure, but this game has been around since 2021 and we have barely scratched the surface of the story, the MCs lineage and abilities nor half the people he has met. This developer is awesome in what they created but they MUST focus on the story, get this game completed as an adult VN and forget all the other bullshit they wanted to implement. The world itself looks and seems dull, MC apartment is just a room with more rooms, it speaks to the feeling the game gives me now, one where it started with a great idea, but never went all the way with it. The ratings that are now, are old and IMO no longer relevant. I played and followed this game since release and would have rated it 4 to 5 stars at the time, but never did many reviews back then. Now however I look back and I feel sad, disappointed and annoyed at where this game is now as to where it should and could have been... We can only hope that the developer manages to push this game and consider reviews like this to provide direction.
I fucking love a game with a good lore and plot, the investigation it's so cool. The lewd doesn't leave behind, either. I hope to see more in the next version, tho. Realy nice mechanics, i just hope to be able to upgrade more frequently not having enough points really makes me unhappy, haha. (i may or may not have started all over again, just so i could have enough points to notice a certain character's hair)
The game has potential. Its an interesting premise and a fleshed out good story. All in all its a solid attempt. Its a bit of a slow burn but not really. You dont get cockblocked or start with handjobs and grind yourself through story's and bullshit quest to get to the good part. But to get the scenes you have to fight through a wall of text. More on that in the story part of the review. I recommend you try it out for yourself before reading negative reviews or mine. Im very opinionated so dont get scared of and give it a try. Now to the actual review. i will only focus on the two things people actually give a shit about. Story and fappability. Story 2/5: Dont get me wrong. I didnt lie by saying the story is good and fleshed out. The author doesn’t seem to grasp what makes a gripping visual novel. The emphasis here should be on "visual." In a visual novel, you expect to see more visuals and less exposition. Instead, you get alternating slides of character faces with walls of text about old vampire wars and customs. The ideal approach would be to gradually reveal the world's backstory through character interactions and environmental clues. Instead, you get a lecture every time a character speaks. There are two times where the backstory is shown through visuals. When the MC uses his bloodsucking skill but those are very rare moments. And then there are the rare times where the characters a interact with no backstory or expositions and its awkward at best and embarrassing at worst. It's like watching two socially awkward people try to communicate. Maybe it will get better when the introduction to the world ends and the story actually picks up the pace but right now its a chore to read. Fappability 2/5: The intimate scenes are disappointing in terms of both content and visuals. There are a total of three blowjobs, two missionary scenes, and one cowgirl scene with only the blowjob and only the first scene alternating positions. They're brief and far apart, making them unless to fap to. If the scenes are this short, they might as well not exist. You read a 5000 word essay and then get 10 pictures of a single sex position and than have another 5000 words to read. You could barely start enjoying myself when they end. Why not have some different positions to prolong them? They all feel like cheap quickies instead of proper scenes. The potential 5/5: The reason i cant give the game a 2/5 is its potential. Despite its flaws, the game has a lot of potential. The interface is well-designed, and you can see the effort the developer put into crafting the storyline. I like "rise to power" stories, and there are too few that actually get finished or receive consistent updates. I can see where the story is heading, and I like the direction. However, potential alone isn't enough to justify a high rating. The author needs to understand the difference between a novel and a "visual" novel.
What an amazing concept that progress system is! Nice story, nice characters + their backstory, big vampire Goddess, hot crazy bpd murderous vampire, smart subtle hints, great humor! What more can a simple dude want?!
4/5 Pretty firmly too, Played v0.9301 I had a lot of fun going through this one! Even though I managed to pick a path that lead to very minimal lewdness lol! only 2 things I can think of that I didn't like/think could change;1- Unless I missed it there isnt much explanation of the Player Stats screen and the Glossary , But also seems like this is still quite an early stage for the game. 2- Minor but the MC had some fairly stereotypical personality traits of being "A Guy", nothing crazy and most often was a bit humorous but still felt a bit contrast-y to how you could play other scenarios +Looks pretty good +Thought the Characters Looked great +Story sucked me in pretty good +Easy to follow without being overly simplistic or dull -Every once in a while I found some scenes to be a bit dark visually, And Yes this is a vampire game and Vampires are generally out and about at night but still lol -- My biggest complaint is that I found the stylized, script-like, font Really hard to read! I do generally for all these Ren'Py games open up the Accessibility options to change it to Opendyslexic and increase the Font size, But I found this games default to be super rough on my eyes (sad cuz it's cool and thematic lol) 4/5 Had a good time! Enjoyed it! Hope for more!
Story 2/5 This started out somewhat good, but it went to making no sense way to fast. First you have a girl forced on you, i guess you can call it intro to the game so i can deal with that but once game starts it gets worse. MC whos just been a vamp for a single day is out with Zoey looking for hes first human meal, when MC finds someone Zoey will take you back since she dont trust MC to be out and alone since she affride what he might do and thats all fine, but then they get back to Zoeys home and even though Zoey knows it can be hard for an old vamp to not fuck up drinking blood or being around humans and that she dident trust him 2 seconds earliere she does a 180 and now trust MC to be alone with a human girl??? How the fuck does that make any sense, Zoey is risking her own head for a dude whos barely been a vamp for a day, i mean really? come on atleast try to make the story just a little realistic, this is just idiotic. And dont even get me started on how MC cant mind controle a normal human girl but 5 mins later he can mind controle a very very old and powerfull female vamp? really? Game likes to forced things on you as well, like at the docs your forced to feed on her leg for some stupid reason no matter if you pass or fail skill check it dosent change anything what so ever, and earliere you could resist to drink blood so why not now? i wouldent want to touch that old bitch doc with a 10 ft pole. MC is also to brainless and trust people way to easy, why on earth agree to help the doc? to figure out what makes MC tick? maybe help her find ways to kill him or worse? i dunno but i find it extremly stupid, even more so since Zoey dosent trust her either but MC being new and not listening to the one person that he knows saved hes life makes him a brainless idiot and MC keeps being submissive to the doc helping her with whatever she wants, like blood samples and shit, MC should never allow for that no matter what. Spoiler: More idiotic story and force parts, there will be spoilers Why MC dosent think about hes surroundings when in a possible hostile place is stupid so it goes without saying Emilia had no issues getting up close and capture MC which is idiotic on its own since he knows shes around and not happy....then it gives you 2 choices which is even more idiotic since your forced to pick tell her the truth picking anything else you get killed...so dont give players the choice, making fake ones are not just annoy but stupid. MC then goes on saying he told Emilia nothing? even though he told her about hes power to mind controle vamps? which is proberly the most idiotic thing he could ever do.... In any case story just dident do it for me, it had potential but it has to make more sense. Girls 2/5 Most of the girls are pretty ugly, a few does have a nice face but that comes down to personal taste, maybe its due to being yet another big tits fetish game with no real diversity in builds, so if you like my self dont like big tits and find them nothing but a turn-off you might also want to skip this game, the only small tits is on side girls that you proberly cant even do anything with. Animations 2/5 They are pretty low quality, very shot and rare on top of that. Music 3/5 Music is pretty good when its there. Choices 2/5 There just isent enough choices that makes any diffrense so you can role play MC like you want to, and add in fake choices where one of two leads to game-over only makes it even worse. And most if not all choices seems to lead to the same results with only a small change to text or dialogs, like the giving the doc blood it dosent matter if you rat her out or not she will still demand blood making choices pointless, if there is any real story changing choice i dont know but to me it feels just like a kinetic novel since your choices dosent change any outcomes. Sandbox 2/5 Not really sure why its there, you can move around but cant visit anything other then a quest location so the only freedom you have is to pick which quest to do first nothing else.
Playing version 0.93 Honestly I’m sad to not rate this game a 5, but the mc personality is so annoying to me. It’s all over the place some times. The scenes feel like they were written by different people, but that’s just a minor complaint my actual complaint is that he’s okay with murder and unconsensual blood sucking, yet not rape. If I’m on the “dark path” with Claire, obviously I’m gonna be playing my character w negative control. So why would you blueball the player and just let her run off after biting her? Her dark path with high control is sweet lovey dovey neck kisses and sex. doesn’t make sense to me why give the option of a dark path if it just isn’t one. being forced to feed for the first time on a willing old hag doctor also wasn’t my cup of tea, I thought hypnotizing shevaun or literally anyone would’ve been hotter.
