About The Counter Gambit

The Counter Gambit is a revenge-themed visual novel by Pimp Studios, using an Others engine and animated AI-generated 2D CG art. You play a male protagonist who, after ten years of study, reaches a top university but is framed in the library and imprisoned. The story follows his attempt to escape and reverse a ruined life, with themes of revenge, romance, and multiple endings.

Development is ongoing, and the current build is v1.0.1 plus DLC, dated January 23, 2026. It runs on Windows in English, Korean, and Chinese, with no censorship.
