The Curse of Joy

Man, Joy was awesome and I was one of the first people to support this dev cause he promised me that he won't add the curse of curses(a curse a centillion times worse than avada kedavra) but he did The curse of Joy is an abomination. It's nowhere near the level of Joy. The story is ruined. The mc has become the biggest Loser in the multiverse. Renders of this game are great but that's the only positive thing that I can say about this game. Writer of this game should get fired comparing this game to a masterpiece like Braveheart is bollocks. Good luck but I will never support you again because your word is worth nothing. A man is only as strong as his word.

For now i can say one thing this game is looks good really good and have really really big potential if author does good work not even kidding its really good. Character is really good and not annoying plus they look hot. Mc is normal and not annoying thats plus too. Story is can be good or bad but for now its good still its up to author. Graphics/models good too they look amazing. İts still early to say %100 but for now its really good sex scenes felt good too and theres some weird thing happening in story if author explains that good and nothing rushed here i can say that this game is solid 5/5 for now maybe even later if you wanna play maybe wait for few more updates to play for better enjoyment. İf you wanna support author i think theres no problem for that this is for now worth to support and no miking like certain games.

Overall a really fun game so far after playing day 4. Most of the models look really hot and the scenes are solid. I can't get into Si though. Something is off with the way she looks. I'm not totally invested in the story, but as a mechanism to get MC into sexy situations with other characters, it works well. For anyone that wants believable sexual tension and organic relationship building, this game won't likely satisfy that itch though. As consolation, there are plenty of great scenes, and I am curious to see where the story goes.

Holy smokes! The quality of these models is fantastic. A decent amount of content for a few updates and really great animations. Wish there was more variety in choices (basically just yes/no so far) and model types/ages, but fantastic posing all around. Things seem to be going way to easy for our MC, but I'm good with it. Wish dev would lean more into the sneakiness of MC's behavior while having a GF. Good luck with future releases. Wish they were on Patreon.

The game looks nice so far . The models are cool. And I don't know the 3D Engine used. Somewhat similar to Honey Select, though still a bit different. Not a general Daz3D either. Still - very nice models (maybe the reporter is just TOO "thin" and "cartoonish" for reality and my tastes). There's also one feature in a game that a bit bothers me: most of the screens are not "static", but use constant scaling up and down. But the problem is that this effects adds a bit of white grain/snow to the image. Not much, but still noticeable. I don't know if it was intended or just technical issue, but I would prefer a "clean" image without little white grain (even if it has to become "static" because of it). Other improvements that I'd like to see is deeper personality of the characters, e.g. why reporter decides to fuck MC out of nowhere?? She just sees a random dude in the park and like - hmmm, you are nice, come to my studio. And they fuck. Or Rose? MC peeps her in shower. She's like: or you think I'm nice? Let's fuck! And she's MC's girlfriend's sister... I'm all for good sex, but there should be at least a bit of "history" between them BEFORE they start to fuck. PS. And also I would VERY like the change of the intro screen... I know it's kinda cool, but when I play these games I want to feel aroused and when I see a chick all covered in blood - well, that's a HUGE "anti-boner" for me. ANY other girl on the intro would be nice, or even this one, but without blood all over (like she is in the end of v0.3 for example) So in general: will be following this one...

Hehehehe, oh my god, just wow! This is porn alright! Everything is in this game is just an excuse for sex and nudity. It's like the author has never had a conversation with anyone, ever. Everyone acts and talks like they're very very very young and braindead. And yet the dialogue is fun to read, and it's got a really nice, happy, relaxing atmosphere that made me just me wanna keep going. The fact that the models are just beyond beautiful certainly helps too. This a good candidate for the best looking private parts that I've seen in a game, and the faces, just wow, so cute! If I were to offer some constructive criticism, um...add more humor, I don't know. That said, I'd just say to keep doing what you're doing here, because I enjoyed every second of it

Reviewing up till Day 2. So far this is a novel which I happen to like better than having a bunch of mini games. But being that it's a novel, I would expect a lot more. I would have given this a higher rating if there was more of a story. For example, there is no explanation as to why some of the women fall for the the dude so easily. Maybe there will be an explanation later in the story but I doubt it. It seems like this is just going to be a sexathon with minimal story. The dialog is simple, there is no character development. I am really hoping for a lot more in terms of the story in future versions. And a slow buildup of relationships is much more believable and exciting than what has currently been presented. I hate slow grinds but this is just the opposite and not better IMO. There are several sex scenes already and it's only Day 2. The sex scenes comprise of pictures, sequence of picture automatically played, morph looking transitions between 2 or more images, and some really mostly-smooth animations. Obviously smooth animation is what most people want to see in these novels. But to make it exceptional, a sex scene needs smooth animation of multiple actions, each shown at multiple (2-3 minimum) angles. The sex scenes do show multiple actions and angles but it's not all are smooth animations as previously stated. One thing lacking is much pleasure from the female during these scenes. Also, the guys dick looks kind of plastic and that's always a turn-off for me. On the positive side, several of the female actors are very hot. So my rating summary: Models 4/5 Sex scenes 3.5/5 Story 2/5 Writing 2/5

Version: Day 1 Nice erotic scenes for a first entry. Nothing to say about writing right now but the VN has great quality. good editing - transitions are simple, aesthetic and auto progress; lowering the amount of clicks required as well as creating a natural fluid pacing attention to lighting quality model renders - beautiful models and little quality details like hair looking like hair and nipples being unique to each girl MC's balls could be a tone darker because right now it looks the same as his dick which looks weird when the pair is attached to his already different body complexion animation is fluid with good speed that increases in the sex scenes intro animation was impressive I prefer the colour tone of the animation (neutral tone) than the image's colour grading (reddish) music variety - good tracks that fit the moods except the track for the park - horrible jarring generic juxtaposed with the previous chill music has sex sfx which fills the scene when there isn't much text substantial quality erotic scenes - unlike many AVNs that skimp over their sex scene with short systematic (1 action, 2 angles, then a cum button) visuals sleepwalking content - it's odd how there isn't more of this in AVNs with sleep sex, as such, it's welcomed Spoiler: for the coomers: only Seo-Yun (asian girl) and her sister (silver hair) currently have a sex scene font is hard to read as well as small no option to adjust text speed continuity error - Rose outfit changes back to her original in MC's home Minor technical issues imo but worth tending to. Otherwise... I'm looking forward to the hinted harem cohabitation.
