About The Kid at the Back
The Kid at the Back is a Ren'Py dating sim by fantasia, using a 2D CG art style. You play an unnamed protagonist who can be male, female, or nonbinary. The premise follows a tall boy who sits at the back, wears black, and has bright red eyes that seem fixed on you. It is a romance with two love interests, choices across seven days, multiple branches, and five endings. There are fifteen CG scenes, two NSFW.
The current build is v2.3.3, dated November 22, 2024, and development is ongoing rather than a demo. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, with no censorship. Earlier v2.2 notes describe a main route of one hour or less, with two or more hours for completion, plus the protagonist gender options, two love interests, CG count, and branching seven-day structure.

"There's this guy, pretty tall guy, often times people don't even realize he's there but he is. Usually sits at the back, wears nothing but black. His eyes however, were bright, red as the autumn leaves, and they for sure aren't leaving your eyes once you lock with his."
