The Lawyer

I can't share the rave reviews about this game. The story doesn't stand out in it at all. Yes, the developer himself wrote that he didn't pay much attention to the plot, focusing on studying how to work with RenPy. However, in my subjective opinion, the game should have at least something that will captivate the player: an exciting gameplay or an interesting story. Unfortunately, both of these elements are missing here. At least, that's exactly the impression I got during the 1.5 hours I spent in the game. From the point of view of gameplay, this is a standard visual novel with the possibility of choice, which, in fact, doesn't affect anything. The player moves along preset "rails", choosing from several options that don't change the development of the plot. The plot leaves much to be desired: it's mundane and completely uninspiring. Initially, I was interested in the synopsis, but, alas, it turned out to be much more interesting than the story itself. The visual part is well done — there are practically no complaints about the graphics. The sound is also good, although it would be nice to add background music to create an atmosphere. As for adult content, it is represented by short clips from porn videos from various studios that are only vaguely related to what is happening in the plot. It seems that they were not chosen in the most successful way. On the positive side, I can note the stability of the game: there are no bugs, and everything works fine from the technical side. However, the rest of the project is clearly not up to scratch. Considering that this is the developer's first job, I rate the game 3 out of 5. If this was another project by a more experienced developer, my score would be 2. As an ordinary player, I would like to advise the author in the future to pay more attention to either the plot or the gameplay, or better yet, both at once. The technical part is certainly important, but even crazy games can captivate if they have a strong story or exciting gameplay.

Cute little game -not too much content, takes somewhat around 3 hours to finish, maybe a bit less -pretty good porn -story is nice but pretty basic -with the phone calls there is some kind of gallery

This was mainly a learning exercise for the Dev. Don't expect a full blown in-depth game. As such, it certainly deserves 4 stars, or more I would imagine. There was more content that a lot of other first release games. I didn't have any errors, the game launched quickly and ran smoothly. There wasn't any stuttering and the colors were great. It was also enjoyable. The only ding against it would be the many spelling errors. Some words were spelled several different ways, sometimes in the same sentence. Best of Luck with your next venture! I'm really looking forward to it.
