The Libido Enigma II: Fountain of Youth

Scenario's been done, narrative is weak to the point of becoming Skip Dialog fodder, characters are ironically flat and one note, where the irony comes from several characters' one flat note being a pair of notes that are not flat (tits. Some of the characters exist as a reason to put tits into the plot). I feel like the continuity stumbles a fair few times; this second outing completely disregards whether or not the player played the first, and I swear the game explains the cuck insemination arrangement with the one blonde in one chapter and then drags you through it again in the next. Porn was fine. I appreciate the 'Do U Anal Lol???' prompts, but I feel like rather than asking every time you could just have one toggle and save us all a few clicks. Ditto for the face-basting vs creampie conundrum. Mechanics: It's Ren'Py. Skip Dialog works. Banzai.

I don't normally review unfinished games, but with the first game done and this one heading in a good direction, I feel like I can add a small review at this time. Game is good. The girls are great. The ones that are from the first game are still just as lovely and fun to have scenes with, even non-sex scenes, and the new girls that have been added so far have all been good. More even than just the lewds, which are good, the story is interesting too, maybe not ground breaking, but better than the vast majority of other games that barely have any story at all. Worth playing, especially if you played the first one and enjoyed it, this one continues things in a good way.

Retconned the first by forcing Harem in the 2nd, why not just make it cannon/forced in the 1st? AVN is mostly good looking LI's getting fucked with a weak plot and good/bad guy points that so far don't seem to do much except for 1 potential LI? Eh its alright liek if you got nothing else to play right now give it a go

I enjoy darker games at times, but sometimes I need that wholesome energy, that feeling of playing a character trying to do the right thing and being rewarded for it. After all, why play a game unless it allows you to do things you can't in your own life? I always wanted to hook up with my coworkers, but I was too afraid of the consequences. And my boss. Now I have this game. Hell yeah. Also, the tags here don't include pregnancy, but the dev confirmed it as planned, which I'm always happy to see.

To be perfectly open since the beginning, I played the first one and ended up dropping it because it wasn't good enough. The story, the writing and the characters all felt bland and generic and uninteresting, the best part being the corporate side of the company. But hey, a second part is coming out and it's semi-independent (terrible that it ignores all the choices you made in the first one) so I decided to give it a try and see if the devs had improved since the original. Long story short: they didn't. At least not where it matters to me. Animations are irregular in quality still, like the renders. Character design is mostly bimbos with not that attractive looks. There is music but I took it out (something I do with every game, not particular here) so I can't judge that, but no other sound I can remember. So, all in all, I find this one to be unworthy of putting time into it, when other games are available which do everything better.
