The Lost Chapters is an adult erotic visual novel made with Ren'Py by Asura Interactive. It uses 3D rendered images and follows Eve, a female protagonist who grew up in a struggling suburban household after a global pandemic. When she lands a well paid teaching post at Mara Institute, the story shifts into a modern fantasy setting focused on romance and relationships. The current public build is v0.6.8.3, dated August 10, 2025, and the latest notes show continued development. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, with no censorship. This update expands the Selene route with new player vote driven renders, adds three scenes for a popular character, and includes the first finished main ending, a narratively satisfying bad ending reached by rejecting the ring and keeping romance levels low. The gallery was reorganized to remove scenes made inaccessible by earlier censorship changes, and bug fixes were added.

Adopted by a family consisting of a single mother and her daughter, she had a tough life growing up in the suburbs. A struggling economy following a recent global pandemic made things all that more difficult for their family of three. When all seems lost, Eve receives a response to her job application as a teacher at Mara Institute, a world class teaching institution, with an extremely generous paycheck. This could be it, a panacea to all her family's problems. However, isn't there a saying about things that appear too good to be true? All these, while something ugly starts to stir under all the glamour and bustle of the city.
