The Lust Out of Time

This review is based solely on my opinion of the first version of Nikraria's game “The Lust Out Of Time,” available here. I am simply enchanted by this game, whose atmosphere takes me back to a time when our lifestyles were completely different and our imaginations conjured up a different future in need of Synthwave. So, of course, when it comes to the game's soundscape, we're right in the middle of it : an alternative future from 1980. As for the graphics and illustrations, Nikraria is simply my favorite artist, so it's impossible for me to be objective : All illustrations are beautiful, completely personalized, with an original and easily distinguishable style. As for the storyline, it's also pretty heavy. So I won't spoil anything. I just feel like I've found my old floppy disks of " Leisure Suit Larry", and my five CDs of “Under a Killing Moon”... ...that hav 3 b 33 n corrupt 3 d 3 ach oth 3 r by a Gr 3 at Old On 3 . As for the gameplay, it's definitely a VN++. It's not limited to reading and watching : between the mini-games, discoveries, and reflection phases, you're rewarded with the satisfaction of “having thought of it.” An excellent modern and old-school game with a good dose of sensuality, unease, and excitement, as Nikraria knows so well how to do. I can't wait to find out what happens next, but at the same time, I'm willing to be as patient as possible to savor this masterpiece. Thank you for sharing your world filled with sublime characters with very unique personalities. We are very fortunate to have such an accomplished and versatile artist who freely shares with us the fruits of his long labor. A true creator.
