Pretty good sequel, though i would've liked to see more variance in how it all plays out and maybe even a harem ending or threesome ending since theres even a character that teases that. Overall, i see it as a good prequel, not nessecarily a must play but a fun game if you like the main title.
The Night We Met is a pretty aggressively branching VN centered on a truth or dare game. The overall story is decent, but nothing ground breaking. A group of six get together on halloween for some horny fun. Your choices as the male MC in the game determines which of eight endings you get to see, one of which is canonical in the dev's other in progress game. There's eight different branches and a decent amount of branch specific content throughout. It's honestly pretty ambitious for what is a short, spin-off game from the dev's primary focus. I generally liked the characters. They're not insanely deep and the villains are almost comedically villainous, That said, it's a short game so making the characters pop without being a very one dimensional is hard. I generally enjoyed the bitchy infighting and banter, and had no issue differentiating the characters by personality and not just appearance. My misgivings mostly center on the dialogue. The way the characters speak feels clunky at best and robotic at worst. Characters almost unilaterally use more words when less would seem more sane. While having one or two speak more properly or awkwardly could make sense, this is true for all of them and just makes the characters sound strange. That said, this can be hard to get right and I don't know if there's a language barrier adding to the problem so I'm willing to give it a bit of a pass. The art is AI and good, but this awards zero points. In addition, some of the animations are strange choices with some weird looping. It all adds to the game overall, but AI gonna AI. This one really ran the edge of 3 and 4 for me. It's certainly not the best game I've played, but I don't regret the few hours I played it. There are better offerings around, but I don't recommend avoiding this one if you're interested in the concept.
The Night We Met is a short visual novel centered on a single night in which a group of friends plays truth or dare with plenty of ulterior intentions. The game ends when a major intimate scene occurs with the character you choose, after which you must replay the entire story to experience a different path. The gallery is not difficult to unlock, but grinding for it becomes quite repetitive. The AI art is passable at best, still feeling somewhat soulless, and the animations are very uncanny, often ruining the scene. It is not incompetently developed, but it is quite a letdown.
Really nothing special, you click through some options mostly skip it until the truth and dare part starts then you read some things, it tries to be funny but with there overly strong sterotypes and frankly very bland looks it cant be more the "decent" or at least not the worst thing you can spend your time on.
This is a prequel to a currently in-the-works game, the production of which started before this game (if I'm reading this correctly). This is important to know. The game has 8 routes but only one canon ending. Because of this I question why multiple routes were even included. Why make a VN with multiple shallow paths when it could've been a near-KN with a more complex plot and pseudo-choices (such as having both roads lead to sex but each choice gives a different sex scene). The point of this prequel seems to be to add depth to the main game's story and characters, so why make 87% of the paths and a majority of the story non-canon? This not only makes me weary of supporting this and other projects but makes me look at this game with a bit of disdain. Additionally, I dislike the initial implication that my choices actually matter then finding out that in fact, they don't matter. The art (AI) is decent. It really shows how much AI art has improved in porn over the years. I know many people dislike AI art, but if you're judging it fairly for what it is (porn. It's porn. The point is to be hot and get you off) then this game's AI art positively stands out. The only real issues I have with it is that both of the male characters tend to look a bit different (style-wise) compared to the girls and there is sometimes a jarring change in style when a character's expression changes. The writing is alright. I believe the creator is Italian, so it has some English issues but nothing actually problematic. The story keeps you engaged and interested enough in what is going on, though at times it can drag and you'll just wish it would get to the point or wrap things up. The conversations actually read like discussions between actual people, a rarity for h-games. There are two glaring issues though. First, as mentioned before, most things are non-canon so it's irrelevant if it's written well (or not) in the grand scheme of things. Second, despite the chatter being decent the overall story isn't as it's quite shallow. It's wide, not deep; but of that width only one thing matters, which isn't good. You can describe each character's changes and actions in this game in a sentence or two, which is convenient for the sequel but is detrimental to the prequel. However, as the prequel comes off as being more of an advert for the sequel than a game itself I suppose it works out overall. So at the end of the day 3/5 is the fair rating. This game works as supplemental material to the sequel "main game" but doesn't stand well on it's own. I recommend playing the main game and then this one. I wouldn't play this one as a stand-alone.
A game where the AI graphics are taken to superb levels, used at optimal performance, a game from different points of view: fun, erotic, dramatic (not much), and more, varied with multiple choices. The team clearly knows what they're doing, and it shows in the product. It's brilliant to be able to give the player a choice. Games are so called because we can choose, and here, gentlemen, the team has given their all for the player, THE CHOICE. Congratulations, I can't wait to play more of your games. As an Italian, I'm very proud of you.
Passable but not good. I am not fan of the "artstyle". Alex and Ian don't look like they belong to the same game with how they look. On the other hand women all have quite similar bodies with only little differences, only heads and clothing are unique. I am also not fan of the humongous dicks, they look very unreal, so does the way they (and everything else) move. Even static pictures would be better than this weird movement. Story is so-so and it is quite linear with one choice midgame being crucial to picking endings and you are mostly stuck on route, which are all very similar, until the very end, after you make that choice. Maybe I missed something because I skimmed text sometimes but, unless they were both and I missed the second, it seemed to mistake gum for cigarette several times. It doesn't bode well for quality control if it is the case.
1) This game has NO Female Protagonist, NO Multiple Protagonist etc. I hate fake ads, sorry. 2) This is pure kinetic soap game (aka "ordinary male protagonist game"). At the very beginning, after introducing the girls, you decide which one to fuck. What an unusual, unpredictable story! 3) Your male protagonist is designed not as crap, so +1 for rating. 4) Writing not boring as hell so +1. 5) Anyway this is soap. Other things are deadly stupid and, sorry, I don't want to waste my time for them. ERGO Casual soap but not worst soap. So yeap it is a little better than 90% games on this website -all these anime/hentai, honey select and others... well, it is better than regular soap but it is so easy to be better than regular soap. Enjoy.
Spanking with music in the background instead of spanking sounds?? Some scenes are cringy. The game feels rushed and it feels that it could easily go from poor to great with more care about the little things that make a great difference.
I realy love the original game! And this is the good prequel! 1. God tier renders 2. Good animations 3. Beautiful chars cast 4. My girl Sierra on the place! 5. My boy Alex have HAIRS!!! )) Solid 5 from me thats for sure!
I really enjoy the v1.0 public version. Tried to see the different with the premium by looking at his patreon page and couldn't see anything off the bat. It took with regular reading speed 3 hours 19 mins for me to do one play through. There's 8 endings. I'm not sure if i'll go back and play again if so i'd do a sierra end. If you use tab or ctrl i'm sure you can get it done much quicker on replays. He does give an incentive to do all 8 endings. The other women, not really interested in them, esp your ex. lol. The music is very well done...and well i just couldn't get enough anna lol....but that's the problem i have with the sequel lol. I do have the sequal marked on steam, but didn't see this one there, once it is, i'll wishlist it too. Also i love that you have an unlock button on the gallery. Great renders and animations as we come to expect from the dev. Great job dev
