About The Other One
You play a man whose life changes after surviving a serious illness. He looks different, acts differently, and grows more interested in women, using unusual tricks to win their favor. Those tricks then help him face a chain of problems. The game is a Ren'Py dating sim made by Santrear, using 3D CG and animated scenes. It is based on Lust Theory by Inceton. The game includes romance, a school setting, and sandbox gameplay.
The current build is v0.211, released on May 14, 2024, so development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, with English and Russian text. There is no censorship. The latest changelog only lists bugfixes. The previous v0.210 added the second chapter, about 4k images, over 100 animations, and more than 13K dialog lines.
Developer's description
Imagine a guy who miraculously got rid of a serious illness, but after that became a little different. His appearance, behavior, and even his character changed. He became more and more interested in women, and in order to get their favor he used not the most usual ways. He called it tricks. Very soon a whole series of problems fell on his head, for the solution of which his tricks became more and more significant. Will you be able to lead the protagonist through all the trials prepared for him by fate, and if so, will you have enough strength for his loved ones? And one more thing, I forgot to tell you, you have to play a little bit OTHER guy... This content is based on Lust Theory by Inceton.
