The Scheme of Betrayal

Really liking what I'm seeing so far after chapter 2. Renders are great, story so far is great, only one lewd scene so far but even that is great as well. Ashley is a bit of a bitch, Laura is a sweetheart but Mona is gonna be the one that has the MC down bad. I can see that already. Genuinely looking forward to seeing where this one goes. And also, the dev is foreign but even so the English translation was very good compared to some of the other stuff that is out there.

I played this game a little while back and thought it looked fantastic, but it had some language issues, with Russian dialogue left in the game on a few occasions. Now the new update (0.3) has been released, I gave it another go from the start and I’m pleased to say those issues have been resolved. This is definitely a slow burn game. It’s not one to go for (at the moment at least) if you’re looking for lots of nudes and sex scenes. That aside though, the girls are great – or at least, they look great. A couple of them are definitely of questionable character, but I guess that’s in the name of the game. The story is a bit slow in places, and I would say too slow sometimes. Dealing with an MC with amnesia can be a bit problematic, but here I don’t think it was handled brilliantly, with some odd dialogue and choices made by all. So far, it’s not my favourite story, but depending on how the next couple of updates go, it could turn out to be a good one. There’s definitely potential there, if the dev can reach it.

This game has a lot wrong with it. Some of the plot doesn't make sense, name problems, girls with they act, and english. You can change the name, but in a half-ass way, later in the story, where even if you change the name, it won't matter and you will still be playing as Vincent, my biggest gripe, can't self insert or make the story my own. Don't like the way the dev decided to do this. The girls act in dumb and nonsensical with how they treat the MC and how the Betrayal went down. It also has some english translations and grammar problems. Overall this game had potential, but the dev made some questionable decisions. Such a shame, I was excited to play this but the lack of making the story my own with a name change and the ways the girls act , this is a travesty, that I wished was better. Just a Shame.

The game has a lot of story and too few scenes for a v0.3. The translation to English is not great but I've seen worse. Even so, I skipped most of the story as the dialogue is very strange. Pros: + the girls + animation Cons: - few hot scenes - the scenes have no narration/dialogue - the scenes end suddenly in the middle of the act. It has potential for 4 stars and even the 3 stars are a bit generous, as I hope the game improves.

Now this is a game that's priority is all in on story. barely any lewd scenes as of now, but this is the type of game where the investment will pay off in the end. Definitely give it a try. I'm all in this mafia/assassin story line, and I hope the developer updates frequently, because if not, this will be a painful wait.

I was wandering how a game with seemingly good renders and hot girls could have so little attention and 0 reviews. Now I know. Good things first - renders are actually decent, some are pretty good. Girls are all pretty. Bad things - girls seem to be generic, taken from the market or other novels? Not unique enough. The story is dogshit, about some mercenary group, amnesia - don't worry about it, it doesn't make sense anyway. The writing is terrible . Author is russian and he used some auto-translation mechanism on it - you won't be able to understand a good chunk of what's going on. Wasted potential,.
