The Secret of Mom and Me

The game has its flaws but I can't make myself rate it poorly. It's clear that it's the author's first game and it's also clear that he put some efforts and love into it. I wanted to rate the game 4 stars, but the middlegame was pretty boring, so 3 stars is enough. The plot is simple, but not in a good way. There are no conflicts, no particular goal and the whole plot can be summarized as 'son fucks his mother in different situations'. There were some hints on character development (the MC became more mature at the end of the game, the mother was slowly giving in their new relationship), but most of the game you will get dialogs where the MC wants to fuck his mother, she initially refuses or reluctant to do it, but eventually gives in and talks how immoral their relationship is and how much she enjoys it. In my opinion, the author should have made the corruption more smooth, because for 90% of the game the mother speaks and acts the same way, and only fully accepts their relationship at the end of the game. I also got the impression that the author was writing the plot without a particular idea and wrote it on the fly. Some parts of the story moved the plot forward, while others felt like a filler. The scenes are okayish, and the dialogs during sex scenes are good, but very (VERY) repetitive, but the scenes themselves are not realistic. The overall variety of sex scenes is also normal for the length of the game.

This took me like an hour to finish, overall it wasn't bad, but it bored me to the core. This game could have had 3 stars at least if there wasn't so MUCH text, I'm used to reading VN, I enjoy it, but when the story is so basic, the characters intentions so clear and the dialogues so common or cringy it's hard to read it all. The animations were nothing to write home about and now that I think of it, this is more of a kinetic novel where your choices dont matter whatsoever.

I thoroughly enjoyed this VN. It is to the point on the subject matter which is exploring the forbidden love between Mother and Son. The H-scenes were really good (for koikatsu). My only gripes with the VN are that the MC is a bit too whiny at times and the scene with the sugar baby (Riko iirc) was not needed at all. overall: 4/5

TL;DR Meh — 2.5/5. Decent visuals. Meh story. Lack of creativity. Neutral -Reanders and animations. The game looks okay — standard Koikatsu. Nothing outstanding, but the animations are long and versatile. -Story. I like small stories: no big conspiracies, no superpowers, simple slice-of-life. But the taboo-breaking is too rushed and lacks creativity. I liked the limited pool of characters — the main protagonists have enough time to open up despite the game being pretty short. Mom is rather interesting, but the son is super boring: a standard horny boy. -H-scenes. The sex scenes are not bad, and there are plenty of them, but the dirty talk quickly becomes repetitive and boring. Cons -Lack of creativity. The whole game is cookie-cutter. Characters repeat the same lines over and over and end up in the most standard situations. It feels like, at the end, the author didn't know what to do and added a random girl just to check the NTR box. And what a cringe inner thought of the MMC: “Oh, cool — I’m NTRing her boyfriend!!!” Sure, and that slut NTRing your beloved Mommy. -Writing. The writing is weird — it reads like a bad translation and reeks of manga/hentai. If you're a weeaboo, it may be fine for you. -Audio. Music is nice, but it surprisingly stops during H-scenes. The sex sounds are straight out of Japanese porn — weird screaming and growling — and it's just not for me.

Completed Version Review. I waited on this one till the completed tag showed up, the comments of depth of relationships and positive reviews got me and thus gave it a go. Really it came off as average and not worthy of a 4 or 5 star. Its mild, mid, meh.. Graphics - so right off the bat, the "Mom" looks like an older sister, there is no connection to the idea that she is a 40ish year old woman. Next is the honey select graphics - these really should be retired with the ability of modern graphics, it is a tool that is easy and the quality shows in that choice. Story - its a mom son story that is pretty standard and a about a million of them written on literotica with this pretty much exact storyline. Not really anything new. Some of the interactions are good, and the use of internal thoughts is nice. Sex Scenes - fine - but its honey select and paper dolls basically going at it. The choice for models and system mean its the same as dozens as well. I find the interactions were ok, but meh. Completed, - yes and that's why 3 stars. Otherwise I would have given it 2. Completed and finished with an ending scene. Really found it meh, choices didn't really effect much, a cookie cutter incest story and graphically it was boring.

This developer right here understands the appeal of the incest taboo and its conflicts. A very relatable and believable relationship, but just not too serious to spoil the mood. Everything's there, from the initial drama to shame to lust to passion; even if you're not a fan of incest, you can still get a happy ending. Inclusive pregnancy. Just the right length. Really fun game, not many scenes but the FMC is quite hot. I just hope for more content per updates, or more frequent updates. Overall a must play game. If i had to rate it it would be 4.5/5, there are small things that could be worked on like more text, and more scenes. Also I would't like for this to be harem, since im more interested in story between those 2.

Highly underate game, I've played A LOT of m/s incest games about 80% are cringey with how dumb and unatural the transition from doing nothing sexual to fucking like rabbits happen. This has at least a somewhat normal natural progression towards it. The story si nothing special but if you want something with actual somewhat realistic incest progression then this is the game for you if you like the render style.

what a game! honestly it was more of a glorified power point presentation, you get almost zero choices, only 2 times you get to choose weather to end the relationship or not, but the story was wholesome, the relationship between the main character and his mom felt realistic, but I feel like she quickly allowed him to do more and more lewd stuff to her, the animations where good and the moms model is great but she looks a bit young to be in her 40s sometimes I saw her more like a big sister in her 20s than a mother to the main character, the game has a lot of sex scenes in multiple places too, they basically fuck like rabbits after they broke the incest barrier between them. sorry for bad grammar and punctuation, english isn't my first language

The visuals are the game's strongest point, the animations are good, I'm not a big fan of Koikatsu, I find the faces of the Koikatsu characters weird, but the MC's mother is very pretty, but maybe it's because I'm a big fan of blondes. The incest theme is quite natural, the characters' dialogues and thoughts about trying to accept the idea of incest are very natural and real, the rhythm is ok... the MC always had the idea of incest, the mother only accepted the idea after thinking she had lost her son and realized that there are more important things in life than worrying about society's morals. However, the scenarios are quite repetitive, the events are repetitive, the characters' thought monologues are too long, and quite tedious and most of the time they always end up saying the same thing, which led me to skip several dialogues. without a real climax in the story and skipping many of the characters' thoughts, there came a point where I was no longer enjoying the game and decided to stop. maybe if there had been more day-to-day events, more climaxes, more different interactions between the characters than always just talking about incest and going to sex, It's a good game, with above-average visuals and animations, but with monologues of thoughts that are too long and repetitive. I would say that the focus of the game is to show the internal conflict and acceptance between the characters, .. not a deep story or sex.

Spoiler: I am the proofreader on this game, but my review is based on the game, not my connection to it. The two previous reviews are spot on, in my opinion. The story has been well thought out and is neither too quick nor too slow. The use of minimal locations forces the story to carry the weight of the game, and I think it has. I'm not a fan of HS, but here it goes beyond the average HS in quality of detail. I would recommend this game to anyone... 4 stars, for now, 5 when I get paid. Haha, I'm joking.

As advertised. A simple and competent vanilla incest game (for now it's closer to a kinetic novel). It has a confined setting, good pacing, pleasant visuals and a decent amount of content despite it's short development time. Solid debut from the Dev, who seems to be very passionate and involved, I hope he keeps it up.

Tried 0.5.0 The story is basically incest with mom. Mom has big breasts, long blonde hair, nice body, so if you like this type you can't go bad with this game. Story wise surprisingly NOT slow burn at all. There are 2 scenes with mom, handjob and titjob/blowjob, and you don't have to read like 10 hours for this. It has animations, music (just one track on repeat) but that's all right. My only complaint is that there are two choices, but if you choose wrong it is game over for sure. The first one is that Spoiler MC tries to be a good son and NOT fuck his mother , but we are not here for this, are we? And guess what the second one is.... basically the same. But aside that I enjoyed it! Hope to see updates soon.
