About The Suburbs

The Suburbs is a short adult sandbox game by The Sexy Chinaman, built with Ren'Py and shown in animated 3D CG and AI CG art. You play a male protagonist in a suburban setting after a secretive new neighbor arrives. The game centers on humor, corruption, and voyeurism as you choose how to investigate her: place spycams, access her phone, watch through windows, or use drones. Playtime is around 30 minutes, with multiple approaches and no single correct route.

The current build is v1.2.5 Steam, released May 28, 2026, and marked as a full release. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with English text and no censorship. The latest changelog notes R3.4 adding a Steam browser on the main menu. Earlier entries in the same update mention UI improvements, Sera’s house changes, new sounds, fixes for POV buttons, scripting, missing images, and errors around the intro or job search, plus sleep scenes, animations, shop items, bedroom and shop UI updates, blackmail events, sleuthing events and tools, and bedroom spycam content.
