About The Therapist
The Therapist is an adult text-based HTML game by AmanOC. You play a male protagonist from a normal family who studies psychology and moves to a new town. His theory is that physical pleasure can help heal emotional trauma by replacing bad experiences with good ones. The story begins with memories from his second university year, then follows his work and relationships in the new setting. The update completes Day 2 and Day 3, adds random events across classrooms, dorms, and library locations, and lets the player earn cash at a cafe. It introduces Kim as a roommate and Celine as a landlady, continues stories for Pepper, Kailee, Fiona, Jodie, and Moon, adds a relationship checker, more choices about participation, a night event triggered by earlier choices, approximately 49,000 words, and 96 new images.
Developer's description
You're a pretty normal guy, coming from a pretty normal family. You have a dad who isn't a degenerate and your mom dotes on you and your cute little sister. Your friends assure you, right before getting punched, that your mom is a MILF. But who are you to judge? Spoiler You have some pretty pioneering ideas about how to help people, so you pursued a psych degree in university. The crux of the theory is, you think physical pleasure can be used to heal every emotional trauma, and replacing bad experiences with good ones is the path to a fulfilled life. So, after getting your degree, you moved to a new town to put those thoughts into action, and that’s where the real story begins. Before we get to that, let's go on a trip down memory lane, the final 3 days of your second year…and where some events occurred that sent you straight towards your destiny of love, sex, and domination.
