The Vixen’s Gambit

I enjoyed this and I think the gameplay loop is fundamentally rewarding. Even if the game as is currently is somewhat bare bones I think that as long as more content and lifestyle features get added this could be a very simple and enjoyable game. Please add some music, fix the audio, and add more girls. I really hope it doesn't just get abandoned

It is nice to have a chess related game on the site. However, The Vixen’s Gambit leaves lot to be desired. + Chess-related real porn game + Author seems to have some ideas + Interface is ok - Chess engine is weak and too similar between girls. Playing against the easiest and hardest opponent feel way too similar. - Every girl uses pretty much the same openings. - As consequence gameplay gets boring since every girl is so similar to each other. - Flavour text is way too descriptive and rosy. 400 ELO opponents are described as gods of chess. - Speaking of flavour text, when playing girls are addressed with different name. I really doubt "every line of dialogue designed by hand." - Stage reveal system is ok but feels odd that you are not rewarded of mating the opponent as much as you are capturing pieces. It's better to play slow and capture every piece instead of quick win which feels boring. - Playing AI hangs her queen but always knows how to prevent mate in one. - Porn is not connected to game in any meaningful way. - It gets too grindy towards end and there is no incentive to play stronger opponents. - There are no any minigames (puzzles etc) that would keep the game interesting. There is lot to fix, but I hope author continues developing this game.

I've been playing a lot of chess recently so the idea appealed, and I'm a fan of real-porn games... but here I like the idea but the execution is terrible. I have a 4k screen and when I loaded this the UI was tiny, so I quit and switch to 1920x1080..and it's still tiny. I literally have to lean in close to the screen to read any of the text. Then there's the chess game itself. Very stylised pieces, which don't look anything like standard chess icons so I had no idea what was going on- the knight looks more like an angle-poise lamp. There's a very good reason all popular online chess sites have default pieces look similar, they're recognisable at a glance and you can focus on actually playing the game. I hope this gets better but honestly I quit after two minutes, feels better to play a different f95 game and then go back to Chess.com for when I want to enjoy chess. I hope it gets better, the idea has merit and it's only early. The promise is why it gets two stars-don't think the current version is worth even that yet.
