One of the true greats of this site, loved the OG version and that the new story keeps a lot of the same beats. The new art style is fantastic and handles animations a lot better and makes the characters more distinct. It's still a work in progress and you can tell, a lot of scenes could use more art work and most are h-scenes could do with more variety though I love the expressions when they fit. It also needs some rewriting or less focus/requirement for the otherworld story and would probably work much better as a sandbox. Because each woman's path is separate and effectively on its own timeline characters are super inconsistent (ex. Just finished fucking one in a public bathroom only for her to be shocked or oblivious that I might be going after her equally busty friend). Last big current issue is there is no endgame material for the women. You can max out your relationship and story with them but any repeatable scenes the dialogue is locked in the level it was first done, besides their final scene their attitude doesn't change once their maxed out and in some cases seems to actually regress to earlier levels (ex. Mom and sister don't let you shower peak once they are maxed out.) It's still a great experience as is and worth checking out if you've only played the OG but needs more time to cook and hopefully once the main story he can focus on sealing the cracks and rearrange the flow and give some more meaningful variance.

This outpaces the original in pretty much every way for me. But I do have some minor annoyances with this game. TL;DR Good variety of girls to fap to and you get to choose how you interact with them. Game has some pretty bad bugs sometimes, and lacks polish in some areas as it's still very much being worked on. Give it a shot if you've got time to spare, what's there is pretty good! Pros: The artwork and animations while repetitive, are leagues above the previous version (no disrespect to Glassfish) The choice of choosing a path of Purity, Corruption and Blackmail with each of the girls is great and is nice to see, it gives you the narrative freedom to choose your intentions per girl. (Each path can also affect how scenes with other characters unfold) The girls are hot and easy to discern from one another. I enjoy that this time around at least the characters faces look different from one another. And lastly it has nice QoL changes. You can press q to change the time (you can do this to skip sleeping as well). The city map is easily accessible, and it has an in-game tutorial for each girls routes on your phone. Cons: It's in RPGMaker which isn't all that terrible. Until you get to a part of the game where it wants you to do puzzles and the mouse controlled pathfinding runs you into obstacles, making you redo the whole thing. And even with keyboard controls it sometimes feels janky like with the fireball puzzle and having to be quick. (Come on I'm trying to jerk off before going to bed don't make me do parkour) It sometimes has bugs and areas that still need some general polish. The version of the game I'm reviewing this on had a bug where a focus girl's content is straight up just not able to be started from the beginning of the game, requiring a previous versions save where you've started her route. (This got squashed quick but I feel like it's still good to bring up as a precaution, some versions might be buggy) While I praised the three different routes approach, some scenes really don't make sense to be happening in a Blackmail route. It feels really obvious which scenes shouldn't be happening because they just awkwardly slap a line of dialogue into the scene to change it which becomes very apparent on replays. (not a dealbreaker but some people might care) The mini-games while not outright insufferable, still knock the pacing out of whack. Every girl has the "Man I LOVE having sex with you, but you haven't played Simon says with satan, so you'll just have to wait!" moment which will get tiring if you didn't rush the sleep powers. This complaint also goes the same for the "Deep Kiss" power which is required for every girl. To get this you have to play to completion (at least in this version) the basic route of the demon character and her emo girl, where you run around hell and do puzzles. I did not care for this experience as multiple times they go "nah find me tomorrow". UGLY AI generated city map. YUCK! I'd take Microsoft paint cubes over this ugly smudgy thing!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All-in-all this is shaping up to be a good game. Even with all the complaints I have about it I still recommend it if you liked the last one, or are looking for another good 2D game. I hope the project maintains steam and is completed one day, as I'll definitely be keeping my eye on it for future updates.

When the world needed him most >:] Awesome work so far. I'm glad they're sticking with the original characters and storyline for the most part, especially the puzzles in the otherworld. The new art and animations are really phenomenal, I love the old call-backs to scenes in the original game but with a new refreshing twist. All-in-all fantastic work I can't wait to see how it all turns out. Oh but I would love some updates on when the next build might be coming out! On the other hand though its a nice surprise when we get an update :] <3

Great remake for the most part. It is more guided, which I prefer, than the original version. But what made me close the game was the Dream Corruption mini-game. All the mini-games are trash, but the actual time sink and random bullshit tied to Dream Corruption - I'm done. I do not care enough to put up with this. Doing ANY of the options in their dreams would equate to SOME amount of influence/corruption on them. But in their brilliance, there's only 1 correct choice out of 3, and when you choose wrong, you lose all accumulated in the meter. You can't "quit while you're ahead" either - you HAVE to choose. So plan on wasting Overworld nights multiple times, of save-scumming by the truckload for Dream Corruption. LOADS of fun, invite your whole family to join in - the KIDS will love it!

Its more like reading a fucking book the playing a game. You get the same 10 sprites over and over again. No change in expression. Really fucking lame. Not for me.

They say you can’t polish the past, but this remake seems determined to prove otherwise. Once a clumsy relic of ambition, the original game has been reborn — not flawless by any stretch, but undeniably improved. The developers, bless them, have managed to turn something once forgettable into something almost delightful . The art remains imperfect — lines wander, colors occasionally collide — but it carries a personality no algorithm could fake. There’s an honesty to its roughness, a handmade sincerity that makes even its flaws feel endearing. It’s a bit like a painting you love not despite the brushstrokes, but because of them. And yet, fate (or poor coding) was not entirely kind to me. A single, game-breaking bug shattered my progress and sent me back to the beginning. I grumbled, naturally — but as I replayed those early hours, I realized I was smiling more than I was sighing. Somehow, repetition made the charm more apparent. It’s a better version of its former self — still awkward, occasionally exasperating, but filled with heart. And really, in a genre so often obsessed with perfection, isn’t heart what we came for in the first place?

This game seriously impressed me. If I could, I d give 6 stars. For the first time ever I d go for it. This game is that good. I usually prefer 3D games, but Urban Demons has great stylized art that continuously delivers, not like some other 2D games that take shortcuts. Super hot art, epic and well crafted animations with sounds, this game hella captivating. But its not just the art that carries this game, the story is pretty cool and interesting, especially the relationships build up. Not a fan of puzzles and since this is RPGM, theres plenty, but they were actually pretty entertaining and doable. Overall, right now at this moment, this is, for me, the best game on this site. Well done, devs!

Great remake of the original. Art is fresh and the new animations all look great. The changes in the story also keep things new and interesting. I like how you can easily adjust the path in the gallery so you don't have to go through a whole new run for each interaction.

Great remake with smoother pacing, fewer bugs, and less grind. The art and animations are a huge upgrade more detailed and fluid (in my opinion). The game also updates frequently and every update has a ton off content.

While a little sceptical at the start, the introduction of repeated scenes (all varied according to the path you are currently on) elevates the game above most of the competition. Additionally, even if they are mostly text, there are scene indicating the level of intimacy with other women as they progress with a different LI (ex Sister and Dizzy), that is a rare thing and it works splendidly. If you have not played the game yet, do yourself a favour and go for it right now.

I really dig the art style, the main sex scenes are really well animated and hot. The only real con I can think of is the fact that this game has a very generic and tedious gameplay loop for progression, but since that's most sandbox type games on this website I won't hold it against the game.

Edit: I lowered my rating by 1 star because some scenes (e.g. the BJ ones) are using the same posing and animation for different characters. In the original game, all scenes were unique. While I initially thought the new artstyle is quetionable, I quickly got accustomed to it. It's highly stylized, enjoyable and fits the original vision very well. If the developers manage, it'd be the remake we've all been waiting for! Nonetheless, there's around 8-9h of content already, so I can only recommend playing it yourself. There are a couple of bugs, but nothing game-breaking.

I admit I wasn't really "here" for the original, got a little intimidated by all the different mods that aren't compatabile/ heard about the frequent bugs and crashes/ saw one of the animations and knew it wasn't worth the potential headache But brother I am here for this remake, these animations and models are top fucking notch and I don't really mind any of the roadblocks (minigames/ questline) that gets between me and them. Between the 4 (correction, 5, didn't know about Kimberly) currently available characters (only did corruption path) can't say for sure which one I like the most because imo they're all pretty fun to corrupt and each has really great scenes...probably leaning towards the sister character tho (because that titjob/ blowjob scene on the couch...good lord) The grind isn't too painful or drawn out (tho I guess you could argue the demon realm puzzles can grind things to a sudden halt, depending on how stupid you are) and the scenes are worth it, can't think of a reason to not recommend this seeing as it's also getting updated at a decent pace with plenty of worthwhile content already here

A nice breath of fresh air for the Urban Demons saga. I'm glad to see that there are still people willing to keep this game alive. I played it back when the original was in development and even tried one or two of its modded versions. Having played the previous ones, I can say that I will follow the development of this version.
