I think Valkyrie Destruction can be worth a try for a veteran gamer who has exhausted all or most other good titles. Valkyrie Destruction has.. (++) lewd premise (+) decent art (----) extremely poor Ux/UI (at the level of delusional/amateur devs) (---) no voice (---) subpar writing <-- not your usual lack of character development subpar; but devs suck at writing a scene subpar Valkyrie Destruction does have a lewd premise. A serious holy maiden on a mission to beat the demon king gets tricked into a master-slave relation with a brutish thief. And you, the player, shall play that brutish thief. The game involves sending the girl to brothel, harassing her (as your teammate) in battle, and eventually sending her off to beat the demon king if you have been so kind to have given her enough sex. And you get a different scene per town for each activity. So far so good... however, Valkyrie Destruction is HEAVILY hampered by its shortcomings. The game does not let you lock in fast walk. You cannot skip dialogue by holding key. If you want to confirm you've read a dialogue, you need to literally press enter per dialogue box. This is just delusional on the part of the dev. You cannot skip slow paced animation of RPGM stock character movements. The game also does not provide setting for volumes (e.g. lower BGM, lower sound effect etc). Does not provide setting for key-rebind. (The native RPGM keybind doesnt seem to work.) etc etc Back when computers were much more limited in 1980s, with limited OS, programming languages, and various software tools, I imagine such level of UI/Ux might've had a chance of being acceptable. The devs should time travel to 1980s to find out. And maybe the devs can study some creative writing with their new found spare time. As opposed to the protagonist Lucida saying things or having inner monologue that indicate she is shy or feeling indignant about being forced to masturbate publicly in a brothel for the first time, Valkyrie Destruction's dev decided to describe that with a third-person narration of "as holy maiden, this situation makes Lucida feel shy". That single sentence is also the only sentence describing her emotion. So the whole scene is made a fast food product as an opposed to lewd encounter. At this point, I have had enough of Valkyrie Destruction. I am charitably leaving a 3 star out of 5 in case it has more promise. It may as well be a 2.5 or 2 out of 5.

It's too clunky to actually play. It's hard to know where to go, too easy to skip h-scenes by accident, and the text moves too slowly. Options for auto-run etc aren't there so you either have to hold down the key or walk super slowly. Stuff is crazy expensive in stores (a teleport item is 2000???)
