About VenusBlood GAIA International

VenusBlood GAIA International is a 2D CG adventure from Ninetail & Dual Tail, built on the Others engine. The story is set on Palastra, an island whose golden age has ended: the land is failing, births are rare, and the people are desperate. Archduke Theofrad of Energeia discovers Ether, a new energy source that could revive his nation, but the Holy Dragon Empire Granlyed calls it heresy and launches a holy war. You play as Theofrad, trying to save his city with wit, technology, and new allies. Themes include harem, corruption, and adventure.

The current build is v1.04, released September 8, 2023, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows in English and is uncensored. The latest changelog mainly corrects errors in story text, tactical skill descriptions, and unit descriptions. Earlier fixes included renamed mistranslated tactical skills, a missing CG during Tomoe’s title selection, battle status icons, Japanese UI elements changed to English, save menu text, unit names and descriptions, and freezes when viewing certain scenes.

Developer's description

The island of Palastra has fallen from it's golden age. The land is dying, birthrates have reached an all-time low, and the people are desperate. On the cusp of disaster, a new energy source, Ether, is discovered by Theofrad, the Archduke of Energeia. It stands to give the island nation a real chance at rejuvenating itself, but the Holy Dragon Empire Granlyed declares it heresy, and declares a holy war on Energia. Theofrad is outmatched and outnumbered, but with his wit, his technology, and a few new allies, can he overcome the odds and save his city? Or is Energeia doomed to fall at the hands of the Empire?
