About Winter: Life in the Countryside

Winter: Life in the Countryside is an adult point-and-click adventure by Dieselmine, built in Unity. You play a man who leaves his apartment during winter vacation after his aunt calls from a hot spring trip and asks him to look after Hazuki. The story moves from a cold indoor scene to a countryside setting that has changed since summer. It uses 2D animated CG art and sandbox-style interaction.

The current build is v25.03.13, released on March 13, 2025. It follows the v1.0 initial release, so development is ongoing. The game runs on Windows and is available in English and Japanese without censorship. The latest changelog fixes text display problems, repairs certain adult scenes that did not display properly, and addresses a bug that could cause endless loading under specific conditions.

Developer's description

It's your winter vacation. You were in your apartment hiding inside your heating table to keep yourself warm. Then, you received a phone call from your aunt. Sensing a deja vu, you hurriedly press the button and receive the call. I won a lucky draw and got a ticket for a Hot Spring trip! Sorry again for the short notice, but can you come over and look after Hazuki again? The countryside I last visited in summer must have changed now that it's winter... I wonder how she's been doing...... Your thoughts wander as you pull yourself out of the heating table and get yourself ready for a trip to the contryside.
