Yuri University is a sandbox, stat-managing style visual novel, with 5 main girls for you to get to know however you'd like, plus several side characters that you can seek out or encounter through random events. Spoiler You take the character of a young woman coming to university with her best friend. Your character, whose name you can choose, has never had a relationship before, having never been interested in boys. When she meets her new uni house mates, they surprise her with their openness and sex-positivity, and our heroine quickly realises for the first time that she's attracted to girls. But having taken so long to realise this, she's self-conscious about her lack of experience. Fortunately, she's in a house filled with girls who seem to be open to some casual experimenting! Guide your character through these blossoming friendships, deciding how you spend each day. Don't forget about your studies - this is a university too! Main characters Your best friend for a long time, your BFF (name customisable) has come to the same uni has you. Like you, she thinks she's straight. You quickly realise you're gay, but will she realise a new truth about herself too? The first girl from your new house you meet, Ezri makes quite the first impression. Her provocative outfit stirs a reaction in you, but it's her openness and accepting nature that helps you become comfortable with yourself. A bubbly and happy physics student, Hannah is a fun and chatty character. She can be a bit ditzy, constantly unaware that she's showing her underwear. She also has a bit of a naughty side to her that she's eager to share with the right person. A straight-talking, open art student, Ashley is always up for a bit of fun with friends. She may not really know what she wants from life yet, but for now she's happy to just have a bit of fun. Quiet and reserved, Scarlett is the other art student in the house. Don't let her initial quietness fool you - once she's gotten to know you a little, she's very keen to make friends. Although she's always known she's gay, she's never been with anyone - will you be the one to change that? Gameplay Yuri university is a sandbox visual novel with stat management. Each day, you decide what location you want to go to, what activity to engage with, and who to interact with. Different activities will increase your stats, which will unlock extra options in scenes. Don't forget to keep up your studies - there are three exams throughout the year, and passing them unlocks extra special scenes! Spending time with the main characters will increase increase their affection, unlocking new scenes with them and levelling up their relationship progress. You'll have 100 days to get to know your favourite characters as best you can, whilst keeping your studies up in order to pass your finals. (Note: as of version 0.6x the game ends at day 80, although you have the option of going back two weeks with your progress intact. This will be extended as the games is updated and more scenes are added, with the final version reaching to day 100 and possibly beyond!) You can also earn money in several ways, in order to buy bonuses to your stats and spicy extras. Care has been taken to ensure a minimal amount of grind, so that you can just enjoy getting closer to the characters at your own pace. Side characters and random events As well as the five main characters, there are a number of other people around campus for you to meet, from a variety of backgrounds. You'll bump into most of them through random events, so keep your eyes open! There are also random events with the main characters, which might present you with chances to further develop your relationship. See you on campus!

This can be encountered around campus on Sundays. A random category of items is chosen, and you can buy them at around a 50% discount. As this event is more focused on gameplay than content, it cannot be replayed from the replay gallery. Added a favourites category to the background gallery, showing all the backgrounds you’ve added to favourites. Added next and previous buttons to the phone background viewing screen, allowing you to quickly scroll between unlocked pictures in that category. I had already played the game in some pretty early version and at that time I found it just interest enough to keep track of. Now returned and played the current version and saw myself playing for some hours, this is for now more of a 4,5 than a 5 for me... as it May not be the most elaborated of narratives but entertains for a while and has characters for all tastes and preferences. It interests me also because there is never too many walls of text between interactions and scenes even if I wish there were some more interactions outside direct dialogue(but that's a personal preference) , so you end up always doing something. Finally the game until pretty late in the version doesn't punish you for skipping a specific time of day, as there is always a lot of things happening, so if you miss an event you likely triggered another... only as you progress the current version content end you may see yourself skipping whole days to see what you didnt' unlock yet. I will keep checking the game development in the future

Respectful, non-coercive, borderline realistic. Erotic. Good. There's a character requirement for reviews. Brevity may be the soul of wit, yet a review needs a certain number of characters typed for a review to pass muster. So: The characters all evince healthy degrees of respect for one another, whether one's dreams, desires, or simple bodily autonomy. No disrespect is shown, and yet the game successfully manages to be compelling, with distinct goals and meaningful actions without the common narrative engine of strife. The models are Honey Select, and skillfully rendered. Since the characters are cute, those attracted to women will find it erotic, and since the gameplay is engaging, and since the functionality more than adequate, the game is what I would call good.

For fans of games with exclusively lesbian content, this is something really very special. It took me a while to get past the fact that one of the characters you encounter immediately is dressed so scantily that they'd be arrested for indecency, but looking past that the game really opens up into a wonderful lesbian playground with characters that feel pretty genuine and relationships that gradually build based on mutual trust and exploration. Things build pretty consistently over the first 60 days so while stat building plays a part, it doesn't feel grindy like many games do. The side encounters and optional scenes keep things fresh and interesting once you have settled into relationships of one kind or another with the five girls you share a house with. Looking forward to seeing more!

Review of (0.62.1) I'm on the other side of the fence of most others who have reviewed this one. The writing is very simplistic. That isn't necessarily a bad thing on it's own but with this one almost every character reacts to a situation in the exact same manner. That being no matter what happens everything is "amazing" and "Incredible". You will se that A LOT, from a kiss to going down on someone or a little spank... Amazing and incredible, the best thing ever no matter what. It's the only way anything is ever described. Then there are the lewd interactions that all boil down to "UUUhhh FUCK. That's amazing Uhhhh", "I'mm GOING TO CUMMM UHHH". Every single one of them. Followed by "Wow, (character name) that was incredible!". As for the lewd scenes, they are almost all just masturbation and kissing. That and pre/post idle animation. All default HS animations that are pretty poorly looped so there are clear stutters for almost all of them. The animations aside nearly everything is forced on the player. I wouldn't let the sandbox fool you, this is largely kinetic. You can choose where to go and who to spend time with but if you get past the first event with most of them expect it to get physical with a complete disregard for player preference. If you start a scene "Rose" is instantly into what ever the other girl wants. It's imposable to just be someone's friend in this. There is also a relationship of sorts but again you are forced to share her if you go that route. No ands ifs or buts about it. The scenes can change slightly if your stats are hi enough but one way or another it's going to happen. The dev has taken great liberties in deciding what the player should do. There is also an issue with the available content. So far the game spans 60(?) days, every 30 days is a test, the first two though you apparently don't even have to pass, so there's that. But the real issue with it is that the girls have so little content that you can reach the end of most of it well before that. For some of it you can't but that's only because you are made to wait until after a certain amount of in game days to start them, otherwise everything would be said and done before the first test. And the third final test is supposedly going to be 40 days after the second so the player will likely just be do arbitrary things until they can finish. There are side characters that would help fill the holes but their stories have all but stagnated ever since their introduction a year plus ago. TLDR : The writing is below average and lewd dialogues are all the same. The animations are default HS and can be stuttery with most of it focusing on masturbation and kissing. Lots decisions are already made for the "player" so there is a real lack of player agency. Too little content to fill the span of days so it feels empty.

Excellent-looking game for lesbian casual relationship and exploration/polyamory. A rare find, especially with such high quality! Even in its current unfinished state there's a good deal of content. The animations are pleasant, and the ability to customize things like your phone background is neat. If I had to make some minor complaints: to maximize relationship gains, you should text every girl every day since it uses no time and is thus essentially a free +1 relationship, and the interface for doing so is somewhat tedious to click through for a game with (planned) 100 days. In general the interface can be annoying to navigate through in some areas, especially when texting where you need to click a certain part of the phone to advance the conversation (as opposed to the usual method of advancing a scene). Sometimes you can't exit out of a menu with a right-click and need to find the X. None of that should detract from the fact that this is basically the kind of game that is my ideal adult game: pure lesbian (with some purely optional trans/enby content) with light fetish content and open, casual relationships that seem to be mostly free of drama. The only thing I'd desire more is perhaps a bit more of the non-protagonist girls getting it on with each other. A well-earned five stars from me. Edited (9/26): After playing it a bit more I believe I've almost hit the end of the content currently in the game. To give an overview of what to expect: the female protagonist is clearly open to experimentation and trying things out. You have the option to opt out of a good deal of the sexual content later on, but you're going to be messing around with all of the 'main' girls to some degree. The one 'fetish' content that's hard to really opt out of is the voyeurism; you can probably avoid a good deal of it but you'll miss a lot of content that way. Doesn't bother me personally, but I thought I should mention it in a review. Sex acts are pretty vanilla lesbian stuff, lots of kissing, fingering, masturbation, some toys, and oral. Other things that it seems like you can choose to opt out of include scissoring, butt stuff, very light S&M play, spanking (one scene is necessary to progress Hannah, but further scenes can be opted out of), strap-ons, double dildos, threesomes, larger group sex, and public sex. All of this is basically perfectly to my tastes, so I can't complain. I like the variation in body sizes on the models, it's particularly notable when the protagonist and BFF are together because the BFF is more slender while the protagonist is rather thicc. With that said, I did notice when their legs are spread apart or bent backwards in oral scenes it can cause dark splotches to appear on the inner thighs/groin which can be unsightly. The animations are good, some stuttering but not to the point where I found it distracting. The current amount of content is a bit light for the full 60ish days that are in the game, but I assume more will be added in the future. I was able to get >100 in all stats by around day 45 on my first real playthrough (after buying all the outfits and all the bonus images too), so there's not much of a time pressure. It seems like there are numerous variant scenes that are not in the guide that can be unlocked by visiting the girls in their rooms and talking to them/choosing different options that I have yet to fully explore. I mention these specifically because while the in-game guide will lead you to the various events and relationship progression it doesn't really point you towards these interactions.

This is a fairly straight forward, no-nonsense yuri game. The renders leave a bit to desire, but the amount of content in this game at the moment (version 0.61) is astounding. There are some minor grind mechanics that I don't always like but it's not too annoying in this game. Additionally, the dialogue gets pretty cheesy at many moments, which is the only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars. Please keep in mind the author of this leans heavily into some LGBT and gender identity in some of the dialogue (even if poorly written). I'm perfectly fine with with it, even if it gets a little preachy sometimes, but if you are easily triggered by that, you will not like this game. Looking forward to seeing more updates.

I'm left conflicted about this one. I like the core characters and the yuri content is quite nice. The sandbox style is simple too, and doesn't slow down progress in an arbitrary way. A couple of things that bother me are the somewhat heavy handed: often preachy allegory, and how all the characters seem to boil down to sounding the same once the lewd action does happen. The amount of "fuck" and "fucking" thrown around in the dialogue gets a little... eh. And while consent is good, the continuous amount of asking for it in a single seen gets a little too annoying. But maybe that's just me. I'm a huge yuri fan, and this could have been a great yuri game but there are some things in the writing and presentation that hold it back for me and get in the way of being able to just get drawn into it.

This game is one of the best lesbian focused games I have ever played. The writing is decent, the animations are solid, most of the models are attractive... there is a lot to like here. The game isn't perfect. I feel like the action escalates a bit too quickly. I could have used a lot more buildup. Not every model is attractive (physics professor could use some work). The school life is pretty bare bones, I'd like to be able to attend more than one class. But these complaints are minor. Overall the game is very good, at least compared to most of the games on this site. Hope to see more content for this game and more lesbian focused games in general.

I honestly thought that I have reviewed this in the past but I guess not but here it is. Even at the .5 initially released state, this Yuri University was quite a substantial experience with a clear vision. About roughly a year later, most of that vision is fleshed out. You are a ditzy ish 20 something year old starting university and get put in a dorm with similar people. Of course, lesbian sex happens... A lot. There is only lesbian or self sex. If that is your type of thing, this game has you covered. However, the best part of this game is the writing. Each character and their relationships with you are distinct in the way that you incrementally advance with them, whether it be through fetish exploration or actual romance. The tone of the game is the best and really sex positive. There is no degradation or shame in any of the writing and the game generally depicts a utopian lesbian paradise. The only thing I absolutely can't stand is the extremely garish purple plaid shirt of the MC. There should be some backstory to it but it sure is an odd choice.

Pretty much what it says on the tin it takes place in university and is chock full of raging lesbians and no males in a hundred mile radius that is all that really need to be said but lets keep going any way. The visuals are excellent the characters are attractive and with a nice design more developers should use Honey Select to render their scenes, while the faces end up looking kind of the same at least they don't trigger some primal horror when ever they make a facial expression. Regarding writing it's definitely not a philosophical epic that will make you question your humanity to man but the writing its good for what its trying to be. The wold might work on some form of B-Movie hentai logic where every one is perpetually horny and characters go from "hey my name is X" to "so you wanna make out" in what fells like an hour but that is kind of the point and why we are all here, the pacing of the actual game play is done very well there is usually only minimal grinding and time between triggering story pieces. The characters are a bit cliche but they are all likable and the story is pretty much pure positivity, bonus points for being entirely Yuri. Can't give the game full marks yet since its not done but it is definitely worth checking out for any one that is looking for a Yuri game. P.S. Alice is best girl fight me

This project gives me a profound appreciation for scenes where characters actively seek others' consent. It's a breath of fresh air I didn't realize I sorely needed. It's bright and wholesome without being saccharine or boring, and contrasts greatly to many other projects. It also wastes little of your time, meaning if you decide to give it a try (and I think you should), you'll quickly discover if it's for you or not. The thing that stands out most to me about this project is how natural it made consent feel. The characters are always checking with each other before they cross boundaries, but rather than feeling like the scenes are grinding to a halt while forms are checked off, it's instead a way for the characters to brightly affirm their enjoyment, or confidently express their lack thereof. Preferences and boundaries are respected with a positivity that lacks judgment. Whether a character is engaging in something or opting out, the others support them totally. It's the kind of honest exploration of sexuality I wish was more prevalent in the world. The dialogue practically makes the sex scenes. The game is infused with a kind of joyful exploration with willing partners, all of whom are growing and learning. The images & animations themselves are good, but when the personality and joy of the characters comes through, it elevates the content well above the sum of its parts. We see characters who love every moment of the new experiences they get to share. The result is always fun and delightfully sexy. Another thing I appreciate is how much it feels like the creator is trying to respect the players' time, while still making it a game . Like many games of this kind, players have to improve numbers to unlock content. This rarely feels like a grind, not only because the game's quest tracker is so informative, but because there are often minor things to discover that break up what might otherwise be monotonous. The creator also allows the player to skip scenes, making possible future playthroughs less monotonous. I haven't finished exploring this game, but what I've seen so far been uplifting. Even players who don't end up enjoying it will still agree that the game wasted little of their time. I also really think more games could learn from the way this one handles consent, and recommend you give it a try.

A much needed addition to the small number of lesbian games. And a good one too. The character models are varied in body shape and size, which is unfortunately a rarity in adult games. And the proportions aren't wildly unreal either. Models are from honey select, which means the animations are from there as well. I think there are better options but it doesn't detract too much, and they are well made. The slightly sandboxy gameplay might put some people off but I found it relatively unobtrusive and while there were times where I was waiting for something new to happen, the gaps are short enough that it doesn't matter too much. The story is wholesome which is again a rarity, and the standout feature is that consent exists in the world. Another reviewer has pointed out the "conversion" of Alice from straight to bi as being a bit off, and may have been a missed opportunity. The writing is good overall, and the character personalities, while somewhat stereotypical (as with pretty much everything) are likeable. I'm not sure there's anything to really improve beyond some very minor points. Just hoping that future updates maintain the positive path that's been forged so far.

There are even extra characters that you seem to randomly encounter by chance/going to certain places. Including a non-binary character who was super cute. I was crushin'. Excited to see the finished game.

This is definitely worth playing if you're into lesbian smut. It's kinda like a lesbian-only Harem Hotel. Don't expect any extreme stuff nor too deep story, this is lighthearted, mostly vanilla stuff. The writing is totally okay, there's already a fair amount of content and the grind is acceptable. It's a good fap, you won't get bored. The "story" is basically linear, you progress with each girls route separately and grind stats. Based on how lewd or voyeur you are, extra choices become available in scenes which really adds spice and totally worth it. And the "story" progresses in a good direction (where I'd like to take it in a lesbian harem game) so I didn't miss the real decisions with real consequences. Graphics: it's honey select which I'm okay with but I know is hated by some. But at least we get really good animations with it. I myself have no complaints tbh.
