Zero to Hero

I found Zero to Hero to be a rough experience. I have problems with the art. Although I appreciate anyone who chooses to express themselves with hand-drawn art over AI, the style in this game works against UX in two ways. First, there's a vaguely "lumpy" shape to the boobs, cock, and general body shape of most people that made me struggle to stay immersed or excited to see more of the game. Second (and the much bigger issue) is that this game is semi-open world, and it's a pain in the ass to tell what is a clickable asset because everything looks kind of like an abstract blob of what it's supposed to be. The story is also nothing stellar, so far. The premise has been done a dozen times--a young slacker living with his all-female family is given magical sex appeal by a supernatural being, and then the women around him start literally tripping over his cock. It's not original, but it can still be a fun read if it's done well--but this one isn't. There's no hunt/seduction once the guy gets his magic cock, and there's no spice to the sex scenes once they start. ...It's especially weird because, the way the intro is written, you have to *watch* this kid spend *multiple* days of his summer vacation playing Minecraft from behind his amorphous blob just to drive home that he's a loner/gamer, but when it came time to write the sex scenes--the thing on which erotica is typically judged--the progression is like, "Hello, I'm your crush. Have sex? Ohhh my god your giant cock is making me cum! Scene." I don't get it. I'd recommend letting this one cook a little longer before checking it out if not avoiding it entirely, but I seem to be in the minority on that, so your results may vary.

Review as of 0.2 Its the starting phase of the game. Things need to be built up before we really start getting content but the groundwork is there. I can see good things coming from. It. For early builds like this I usually start high with 4 stars and change it based on how the game progresses and there's potential here. I like the art style, its got some charm in my eyes. Its a simple story but it leaves itself open to expansion. I think it'll be a fun experience. I'm a suckered for an underdog story, a zero to hero story if you will (pause for laughter)

[v0.2] This is a placeholder review. Will update in the future. ​ ⠀ ⠀ Do not be fooled by 1,5 years of development time and a presence of 'vaginal sex' tag. There is only a setup and less than 30 minutes of content. We're introduced to characters at home, the "alien thing" and that's it. The sexual tags come from the "preview sex scenes" , which aren't canon yet, and frankly should be removed to not tamper with people's expectations. ⠀ ⠀ What is there is too little to discuss as of yet, but one peculiar detail is that characters seem to be "too liberated" when it comes to revealing their skin around the others. I guess it is fine given the overall light tone of the writing, but I would have preferred more gradual approach. Narrative seems to be more comedic in nature but a few of the jokes are too on the nose. Make them more subtle. E.g. the fact that Maisie cites Reddit for health advice is funny in itself, no need to reiterate yourself with "if it's on Reddit it must be true", we got the joke the first time. The foundation is alright it's just like ..... no content , you know.

I really like the art style and animations, also the base scenario and characters are interesting. But the writing is all over the place. I wouldn't say it's bad, but it's not engaging and stuff happens randomly. The developer should get a proper writer, this could be a 5-star game.

This will quite long and I'm sorry for all broken english that might be there, but I really wanted to share my thoughts on the game. When I saw the poll about what direction the game should go i decided to play the game before I take part in it, as I felt like either NTR, Incest or Harem could be good. What I didn't expect is that not knowing what direction the game takes right now makes it more exciting, as getting NTR'd while you don't expect it, I imagine would be a very strong experience in a game, and it is not very common, as games have to properly warn player about this theme so you know from the start what you are getting into. Especially the scenes on the start when you spend your days on the computer remind me of NTR settings, where you get updates of what is happening to the girls by the calls. Them being on some trip where you don't know what is happening and you just get uncomplete informations about the situation, but enough to know that something NTRish is happening is a very common and great theme. Introduction of the "chad" football guy sounds very NTR themed too and made me feel like he will definitely be the one doing the NTR. Also the experience from the repeated actions you perform and how I wasn't sure if I am not in some kind of loop was a very surreal experience that made me realise how it looks like from outside when you spend your vacation this way. It was great. Having multiple locations at which you can take a look in different parts of the day to get updates is also a very good mechanic that I always like. Also the scene in the bath where you can see the boobs on the wall of the shower and how they leave the trace and then you can see main character in it is a great detail. All fooged up window, silhouette themes where you can see see only shadows or parts of the body when they come in contact with it are very good. When you talk with Lora about Mei's transformation there is a line "If you want to fuck her, you'll have to hurry up before someone else gets her, haha", amazing line that either is NTR themed or shows you that there is choice to make which is also great. The plan we make with Lora is funny and interesting. I didn't expect a theme of outsider being, helping us out with their powers, I like such themes as it let's you have more interactions and funny dialogues, overall makes everything more interesting. After the sofa scene when you play poker I have one bad experience, unless it is made for future voice acting, the fact that characters move their mouths looks badly without the voice, at least for me. Great lines about Steven and how he is going to be obsessed with Mei's boobs, this kind of foreshadowing is very nice and makes it more exciting to see what happens. Love how the scene with Mei will allow many choices and how it will be detailed so your choices change how scene looks in next pose. Overall very promising game, looks like developer has what it takes to make great NTR themes, but Incest and Harem are also very welcome. Many options and possibilities are always a good thing as they allow replayability and make you curious about other scenarios. So far zero boring/bad scenes and only good themes/concepts. Only bad thing is about the mouths moving, but it depends on how the sound situation will look like.

Great game , love the choice of fetish . The Futa , Incest (Step) . Would love if its gonna have real Incest , but by the start of the game I think we will have it . Love the path ways of your choosing . And would be better to add next to a choice what it means like ( Cuckold) ,( Futadom) , (Incest) etc so its easyer for every player to find what he likes . Good job dont abandon it .

This game has an excellent story and amazing art. The characters are well-developed and the plot is engaging. The artwork is beautiful. Overall, this is a great game that I would highly recommend to anyone. good luck the dev is worth supporting
