About 13 Games' Project Sampler

13 Games' Project Sampler is a Ren'Py visual novel-style collection by _13_ that presents prologue segments for six separate game ideas. It uses 3D CG artwork and animation, and it shifts between adventure, fantasy, and horror tones while offering varying styles and short introductory stories. You play through each segment rather than following one continuous plot. The project is meant as a sampler for feedback, not a replacement for ongoing work, and the creator later plans a Discord poll to see which ideas players prefer.

The current build is v1.0, released on February 6, 2024. It is an English, censored version available for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android. This release includes six playable game prologues, over 250 images, one animated adult scene, multiple genres, and varying game styles. Because _13_ has retired from making these games, development is not continuing; the creator invites others to use the ideas freely.

Developer's description

This "game" consists of the prologue for 6 different new games. Please, take a look and let me know what you think of each of them. Once you have played them all and had a chance to ponder it all, pick your favorites in the poll I will post on my Discord later today. Remember, this isn't to replace any ongoing projects, this is to start as a secondary project once Back 2 School is finished. ***I WILL NOT BE MAKING ANY OF THESE GAMES DUE TO MY RETIREMENT. ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO USE ONE OF THESE IDEAS IS FREE TO DO SO. IN FACT, I ENCOURAGE IT AND WOULD LOVE TO PLAY IT.***
