8th Heaven is a Scenario Simulation: a mix between a point & click adventure game and a life simulator. There is sandbox gameplay featuring stats and inventory items, but also a narrative throughline with goals and progression. Spoiler You died! Things aren't so bad though, as you find yourself reborn in an island paradise, filled with fantastical monster-people. Tape System

- Mandragot redesigned Finn's battle scenes, which were the first ones we had created. So they were almost four years old!
Cooking System
- You can cook meals using all the ingredients! It's simple: just follow the recipe and complete the QTE. For now, cooking is only available in the Lighthouse kitchen.

Finn Event 01 Reworked
The event is now taking place in the lighthouse instead of an old, ugly, dark hallway. The entire staging has been reworked.
Unified NPC System

The NPCs you can date, who have a social level, events, fights, sodas and everything (

You can fight, but you cannot give items/soda/flirt (

Unfortunately, I fixed so many bugs that I couldn't count them all. Like, really. But the game runs much better than before, and you will have fewer headaches with routines, menus, and the day/night cycle.

You should know that the save system has been update too. Unfortunately,
you cannot read your old backups prior to this update
. I say this every update, but sorry, that's the law of early access.

change the values
in your file, such as money, items, etc... Nevertheless,
it is at your own risk

Known issues
I frequently receive messages telling me that the game has backup issues after updates. The game has a lot of systems that interact with each other, which can quickly break certain variables when you update the game. In addition, Patreon and Steam builds are saved in the same place, and this will change when we add Steam Cloud support.
Please remember that the game is in early access and that these are unfortunately common issues. We are improving the save system as we go along, and when the game is released in 1.0, there will be no more issues like this because the entire game infrastructure will be robust enough.
If you encounter any issues that are not listed in the patch notes, try
starting a new game
. I know it's annoying, but for now there are no other solutions, especially for people using Patreon builds, which are subject to many more bugs.

Initial Release
a super cute and well drawn game that has been expertly created to be as numbingly brainless and frustrating as possible. To be VERY brief, you will spend well over an hour walking around a huge empty map, with little to no direction, just to find an item to increase your relationships with an npc by 1/5th of what they need to unlock the next scene. Frustrating as it is, it deserves one star for great art.
Disclosure: I played a bit of this game, and dropped it, because I'm not into Cozy Games. How is it a cozy game if it's a sex game? It's not just the art style, though it's definitely evokes other cozy games. It's that it's low stakes, low consequence. I got to the first sex scene, wherein the MC meets a guy, they vibe, they bone, and then part ways, like a handshake at a cafe. Not a drop of tension, conflict or lasting consequence. Which is great if you like that, I don't want to rain on any parades. But I don't play smut games for that. If I want to get off casually, no stakes, no tension no consequence, it's a button click away online instead of potentially pouring hours into a videogame. I want that time to be worth it. If the tension ramps up re: sex scenes/relationship arcs, that's great, but that's not the impression the game gave me. I don't think I should have to play a game for hours, rather than the game doing the work of establishing a tone early on. It gave me Cozy vibes, so I assumed its Cozy. So, it feels like you could excise the sex parts of the game completely and barely lose anything, because they're tangential. Most of the game is walking around a pleasant little island and talking to the residents who just vibe all day, the mystery of the story being how the island works and what's the MC's place in it. I want the porn in my porn game to take center stage. Like shooting in a shooter, I want the shooting to feel like it has impact, and get the fun out of exploring some transgressive thing I don't want to do in real life. I don't want to shoot anybody irl, but it's fun in games. Whether it's two people who want to fuck but can't for some reason, either social norms or they hate each other, or a wholesome or arrogant person is corrupted into a sex addict, or any number of things, I like some friction outside of the uglies bumping. So if you like a cozy game with some sex scenes hitched on the back, then you might like this.
Got soft-locked during dialogue with some girl and this game has no autosave feature, so guess when I manually saved last time? Yeah, I'm not redoing the past 30+ minutes of "progress", where I was just trying ( attention !) to grind for some cash to buy some soda to have more sex with characters to unlock different kind of coins to buy a ticket to be able to fuck another character . And now I lost all of this dew to randomly gifting soda to grind friend points to unlock something new (I have no clue what). Also, you get like 1-2 those points per soda can, which are randomly located all over the map, or 1 point per "battle" (which is just the sex mentioned above), that needs different kind of soda worth $25 and $50 for no reason (just different animations, honestly). You can earn money from bar minigame (around $150 or 3-6 soda ), for example. And if I understood correctly, to achieve the first milestone with every character separately, you need 20 friend points . Wow, that's a lot of steps! Honestly, this is not my first attempt at playing this game. Last time, I quit after aimlessly wandering around the map trying to find items I had no idea how or where to use ( just my loot goblin problem ). I wasted a good hour on that, and once I was asked to actually complete my first quest, I said to myself "nope" (out of boredom) and deleted the game. This time, I decided to properly read what the game wants from me because, well, the art is actually great and might be worth another try. I had to spent like an hour or two doing quests to get my first sexy scene, not including the gloryhole minigame. Once I viewed it, to be completely honest, I was not satisfied at all. The animation is basically one movement cycling every 1-2 seconds. God, when will game developers start respecting the time players spend playing their games? Games should be entertaining and relaxing, not feel like a second job with minimal income. I see the effort put into creating a good game and appreciate all the work done - it's not as easy as it seems. Yet this game's pace needs more attention and should be sped up. Hard-to-skip dialogue, unnecessary time-heavy cutscenes, slow walking animations and transitions between locations kill all the vibe and desire to continue playing. I'd say 2/5 just for the art direction, but there are a lot worse games than this, so 3/5.

The only scenes that you can get without a grind is glory hole and those are nicely animated but there are games just for that and the rest of this game is just pure bad game designl
Absolutely adore the art style and nsfw scenes, hoh my lawd admittedly wish there was an option to turn off the gay/lesbian scenes since I accidentally got flashbanged with one of the guys getting fucked just for talking to him at the wrong place at the wrong time lmao, or an option to turn off futa if - god forbid - they add that on as well. But so far it's got me hooked, eagerly hoping for and waiting for updates.
Lol. It's understandable why people don't want to share saves for this game. Getting past the first chapter is a real feat. Bug after bug, quests freeze, the fortune teller's card disappears with all active quests when you restart the game. It would be right for the developer to post a save with each new version. Pass by, don't waste your nerves and time
Early days, but the style is so endearing and cute, and it has such a cosy feeling! Really good quality even for the early stages, feels like I am playing an indie game on steam (well, this is on Steam, but you get what I mean hopefully), but extended into the NSFW world where the game aspect feels really nice - female MC, but no corruption or anything like that, just a focus on casualness and being consensual, get to know people in this new world you've landed in, make friends and, well, have sex! A lovely start and I hope to see it grow
I played v 0.1 A promising start. I like the art style, and the writing is decent. The gameplay is pretty basic, but engaging enough. I'm looking forward to revisiting this game after it's been fleshed out a bit more.
First Impression picking up this game on steam was like a breath of fresh air for me, i feel like almost all adult games with a female protagonist goes down the route of corruption (which i do enjoy btw), so i really enjoyed that this has a huge focus on casualness and consensuality Art i absolutely LOVE the art style and character designs, not only with the females but the males as well. i aint gay BUT i enjoy me a game with diverse n hot men, (especially love the dick variety, i saw on twitter a dude with a double slime dick and im tryna see that in action) id also wanna highlight the facial expressions, theres some really funny looking ones and sometimes they just go :3 in the sex scenes and i love it. while i typically prefer frame animation, the skeletal animation is executed quite nicely and the general composition is very appealing. my favorite design so far is the fortune teller, i NEED a scene with her. i also quite like the 3D map, i like how slopey it is and the aesthetics really contribute to the atmosphere the game is going for. i do think it could lean more into fantasy/fiction like how it was in the beginning though. Writing for the writing, im pretty invested in how deep the narrative will go, though i wouldnt mind it focusing more on the slice of life comfyness. i do think the protagonist's writing is quite bland though, maybe cause they lack a standing character portrait (as of now). its probably on purpose but i feel like link in a zelda game. other than that though i like how individualistic each character feels, sex isnt all there is to their character. Gameplay: its a pretty generic relation building simulator with your mix of mini games. i do like the topic sodas, i like exploring each conversation they bring ( give milk to the devil girl ) but as of now they are kinda annoying to collect/keep track of, im sure it will get better tho. id say the only thing im not sure will be touched much is the point and click controls, id personally like my character to run into walls rather than be stunted if i click a weird location, it might get in the way of the games nature but i would like the option for WASD/joy stick control. for a v0.1 theres a surprisingly nice amount of content, but for now its just a buncha walking and talking. moving forward i really hope theres a lot of scenes with the other characters going at it with each other like what i see on twitter, to really emphasize the casual sex relations of the characters
