About A Fractured Prescription

A Fractured Prescription is an adult visual novel by MetaKnightJay, built with Ren'Py. You play as Dr. whatever, a male protagonist who has devoted his life to reaching his current position, only to find himself in an underfunded diagnostic medicine department led by the world-famous Dr. Rose. The story mixes humor and romance as he meets someone who seems even more miserable than he does. The presentation uses 3D CG artwork and animated scenes.

The current build is v0.1.1, released on September 30, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, with no censorship. This update adds days two through five, 913 renders, four animations, one encounter, and an expanded soundtrack, along with a fix. It also includes a scene with the intern.

Developer's description

You play as Dr. (whatever), a guy who, literally dedicated his entire life to get to where he is now. Unfortunately, that wasn’t far as you landed in an underfunded department of diagnostic medicine run by the beautiful and world-famous Dr. Rose. And even then, you had a good bead on your miserable life… until you met someone who was, at that moment, more miserable than you.
