Abyssal Lust is a Ren'Py adult visual novel by Novaporoid, built around fantasy, horror, and monster-girl encounters. You play a detective who wakes in suffocating darkness, surrounded by melted wax, and begins investigating a case that twists reality and brings nightmares close. Clues lead to an ancient prison where a demon knows hidden parts of your past, offering a choice through an impossible door. The game presents 3D CG art and animated scenes, with choices shaping the investigation and outcome.
The current build is v0.5, dated July 15, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with English as the base language and machine translations available for Arabic, French, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Thai, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Chinese. The game is uncensored. This update adds three new scenes, new sound effects, and new background music, while the listed totals are 39,398 words, 930 images, and 41 animations.
Developer's description
You wake up in suffocating darkness, the air thick with the scent of melting wax. A skeleton speaks in riddles of fate and forgotten sins.
The investigation begins. As a detective, you've seen strange cases, but this one feels different. Every clue pulls you deeper into something you were never meant to uncover. Reality twists, and nightmares seep through the cracks.
Spoiler
In an ancient prison, a demon waits. She knows things about you, secrets buried even from yourself. She speaks of a hunger inside you, a need that cannot be ignored.
Then, a door appears. A door that shouldn't exist. Beyond it lies a hidden truth, a choice that will change everything. Step inside, and there’s no turning back.
Will you uncover the truth, or be lost to the darkness that has always been waiting?

The story seems more than a little disjointed, the scenes themselves are fine, the story itself is fine, but it's day then night, with some of the dialogue you'd think some things would happen that in game day but then…

This could be a good game, but... in its current form, it has a lot of flaws and only one advantage: the general concept. Basically, I don't like everything about it – the slow story progression, the character models that…

I went into this thinking the quality of the models would translate to the rest of the game, only to be hit by walls of text that not only feel like they were AI generated, but are also way too…
