They game should have stayed abandoned. After amazing optimazation update game runs just as awful ,and is unplayable on anything above medium. Content was removed so this is back to being walking simulator, there is also a few new bugs like 50% of the clothing options are just buged and clip character model. Truly a game of all times
While I'm glad it's back, the game feels to have developed little from the previous release. While the characters cusomization remains great, the animations are still basic, game performance outside the character creator is still garbage, and going to school tanks the game so hard that I have to resort to my least favorite phrase: it becomes literally unplayable.
Yes I understand this is a "tech demo", but 2 years later and not much in terms of content development leaves me unimpressed. And yet, it's still probably one of far too few games with futa clothing bulges. I'm not gonna cross my testicles and wait for actual sex in this game, or even ask for other features that I'd like, but I'll come back to this in 2044. It's a good groundwork, but it's got to become more than that, at some point. Right now it's a single shop in the mall, AI-generated audio, a few dollar bills on the counters and a bicycle. That's all the gameplay there is beyond walking around for no reason.
the potential i can see in this game is very fucking impressive especially for just one person moving animations and physics is already very polished and the other systems are already in place my only fear is making the game grindy in the future but i believe in you keep up i am waiting to see its future
Tech demo 3.0 I am very impressed with the current work. Character creator, clothes, hair and body physics are amazing. Environments look charming. Voice acting is not bad. Facial animations might need some tweaking; but it is already pretty decent. Time progression feels too fast (light/shadow movement mid conversation). I don't know about UE5 optimization to comment substantially, but for the amount of content and quality I think <6 GB is completely reasonable. Game ran fluid without stutter on my end.
Bad optimization, no content, just a walk simulator, and not even sex with male characters, just futas so no diversity at all, you play limited, the game as bugs, crash constantly and fails to start, is just awful.
As the title says it is a tech demo. World is devoid of npcs, buildings, items and actions. Models are nice and game looks like it was going somewhere nice but as it stands abandooned, there is no need to spend time with this game.
This "Game" here is a good reason, why ratings should be adjusted and check from time to time. As for now, the "game" is clearly marked as "abandoned", well alright... But with a four-and-a-half-star rating, it must be good right? Wrong, this is said to be a tech demo with content for about an hour. Nothing more. It's a fairly good tech-demo, I'll give probs to that... But this "game" has almost no content and is just a good asset show for the unreal engine. How could people be voting this empty demo with five stars? Sorry mate, but that's the truth.
There's nothing here after the amazing character creation. I'm not even being facetious. Dialogue is terrible, and fed through a poor TTS, playing out at a snails pace (which I could forgive if it was SKIPPABLE). eg one NPC stands on their date's doorstep to pick them up and gives them a monotone " you look like a whore " wtf? Unoptimized UE5 game, so it has awful sputters and starts, like running a browser game on a VM. Hard to express in words how badly this runs even after combing through the settings and tuning to what (should be) below-reasonable settings for my PC. medium TAA SSR no motion blur 1080p 60fps Vsync shouldn't need framegen to walk around your bedroom. But from the way it runs it feels like it's always rendering the entire map. Bad occlusion culling is a known UE5 issue but you'd assume it would still only be rendering the neighborhood: 4 bungalows, the two-story house I'm in and the maybe 5 NPCS along with the furniture and terrain. Bizairre lag and a distorted ghosting effect using the bike while you pedal in slowmotion (genuinely you need "chariots of fire" playing in the background... or the cycling animation needs to be sped up by at least 8x the speed. Your legs move like a mountain bike in gear 96) The assets have mismatched scaling. Supposedly handheld objects have disparate sizes, chairs which are too small and too large are in the same building, doors are enormous compared to the human characters etc. projectors and laptops left running unlocked 24/7 in an empty school. It's difficult to give encouragement when it amounts to "great human models and clothing, redo literally everything else from the drawing board". Assets are very detailed, but it's meaningless when they're mismatched placeholders in an enormous empty unoptimized map that is painful to traverse (map should be significantly shrunk for a demo. Scenery should be laser-focused for its specific purpose and fit for the supposed occupants. Both in size and suitability. Not crammed full of vaguely thematic misc just for fancy reflections). Sex scenes have tonnes of polgons and jiggle, but those valid measures of high-quality don't account for the horrifyingly unnatural and robotic movements, especially the "breathing". Immaculate horror vibes. Collecting the pages I mean pornmags from poorly-lit abandoned buildings in the dead of night with ambient_rising_piano.mp3. Especially in the school where the corridor just ends inside a room (there is an empty room full of corridor). Expected to turn around and be cornered by one of the humanoid androids doing its weird "breathing" routine. Shame that after collecting the mags, you can't even look at the cover. All you can do is sell them to one of the NPCs.
It's a promising game, currently doesn't have a lot of content, just barely a demo. I'd hope to see this game grow into something more than it currently is. Here's hoping this won't get abandoned as so many other promising games
Love it. The character creation gives a lot of options (theres room for improvement, but its pretty solid straight up) and the general looks of the game. Sure, the gameplay is very lacking (basically non existent), the sex scenes consist of two simple scenes. But in the end, its a great foundation for more stuff to come. *FPS drops on the new, more open map. Cant wait for future updates (currently: 2.8).
Promising but a bit too broken, bit of a bug demo. + Very nice character generation - "Continue" crashes the game - "Load" loads a scene with your character in bed, a naked T-pose model on top of it, with commands not working.
Wrong! You're wrong! Your game is terrible! Performance is trash! Looks like shit! Awful programming. Terrible animations. Well, i like the Idea of the Character Creator, but there could be a lot more options. With the DAZ to Blender Bridge there should be no problem to add more. The Open World Design is absolutely what i like in Games. The Game looks pretty nice, but you really have to optimize, because even on my System [RTX 4090 24GB, Ryzen9 7950X3D, 256 GB RAM, 2 TB 990 Pro SSD] there is a lot of lag after some time. After a few minutes the lag is gone from one second to another. You should set up a "Garbage collect" more often i guess. For a tech Demo it looks pretty decent. I played for about 2 hours (even without lewd content) To see how Characters react to different clothing, explore locations, etc. Some of the clothing gets totally messed up with certain Body Morphs. I Guess this is because you exported them before adding the Morphs. Well, there are some bugs (e.G. game completely locks at the End of 2nd Photoshoot, triggers to bring magazines to lyle, etc.). The Minigame for the Photoshoot are well made. Maybe add a Skill for a more steady Hand to achieve better results. The light of the bycicle is not working at night! So watch out for Police! IMHO you should add an option for the relationships between characters. You could clearly see what it is ment to be, but the dialogues are leading another way. Well, if your Game is not a "one Shot" and there is some progress in the future, i will definately become a patreon. Good Luck!
really promising for a demo. characters look good, the customization is good with relatively minimal clipping/deforming once you get into equipment, the animations can be pretty good and it feels like there's a ton of potential it's worth noting at the time of writing this, there isn't much content, and what is there isn't super impactful. there's more attention that could be paid to sound design in scenes, having access to character customization while ingame even if it doesn't let you change gender/parts, and making sure that all the items currently ingame are available in the closet if you didn't select them at the start, but it's a promising start and worth a quick try.
There is so many incredible things to say about this game, but if I had to sum up the tech demo in one word, it would be "frustrating" I have one bit of hopefully constructive feedback but I can't stress this enough: When you're deciding what features to add when think about what matters most to your userbase. These are by far the best 3d human models I've seen in a game, but they can't sit down.
If you keep it up, I'm sure the game will do well. I'm sure they'll be soaring high and full of content soon. The characters look fantastic. I hope the development will quickly bring it to a ready beta state and we will see good deals.
This game has a lot of potential. But it is still in the demo phase and still has a lot of bugs. Game has problems where it goes to black screen on relaunch. The only current fix appears to be deleting the game data folder - AppData/Local/AfterpartyGame. Progress is happening slowly. Looking forward to more updates and bug fixes and more interaction options with beds and furniture in all the houses. Character walking also needs to be fixed. Characters look very stiff and unnatural when walking around.
Awesome Job in physics, creating character is really fun! The character nearly seems real, very good! No story yet, but the creator told us so. Weather system looks also nice, other characters could get a bit more "alive", the guy next door looks a bit steady
Omg, Afterparty... What kind of game is this? What is it about? What's so appealing about it that would make me look at the ratings and download it? Well, the answer is... nothing, absolutely nothing. It's empty, lacks optimization entirely. Sure, it has an extensive character customization system, but that's about it. Everything else is lacking. People say it has graphics batter then in cyberpunk ? Seriously... it's unplayable, uninteresting, and it looks horrible. It's simply a copy of certain games, with the exact same user interface design, identical animations, and more. But to top it off, the performance makes me cringe...
This is for Afterparty2.1Hotfix: I'm rating this for what it is right now - a tech demo. Anything else I find unfair. This Unreal Engine 5.2 based demo shows 3d character customization, basic NPC conversation and daily routine, inventory, clothing and a photo mode. I'm giving this 5 stars for the potential I see in this with many customizations: -Hair color and styles -Face eye color, makeup, eyelashes, freckles, blush -Morphs for Face type, nose, mouth, eyes -Skin presets, color, saturation, glossiness, freckles, tanlines & color, nail colors -Body morphs for various body types, breast, butt -Tattoos for face, body front & back, arms & legs -Clothing for head, top & bottom outfit, top & bottom underwear, shoes, pantyhose -Earrings, piercings & color for nose, nipples, belly button -Male/Female anatomy I don't think a casual dev could pull this off and while I'm not sure in which direction this project goes - only know RPG - I'm hoping for a sandbox. Clean UI and as expected with UE5: cutting edge graphic tech.
