About Anne Vore

Anne Vore is an uncensored 2D RPG Maker horror game by Mystery Meat Games, set in a 1940s French mansion where a doctor and her daughter Anne face a night when their home becomes a hellscape. You play as Anne, evading hungry spirits and husks while solving puzzles and riddles. It is a soft parody and tribute to RPG Maker Vorror games such as Kirumi and Devoured, with loose Mad Father inspiration. Players can try to rescue their mother or collect the many game over scenes.

The current build is v1.1.0_03, a hotfix released June 13, 2025 for Windows and Mac, in English and uncensored. Development is ongoing. The v1.1.0 Forest Expansion added 45 new Forest rooms, 22 game over scenes, a post-credits scene, more flavor text, new cutscenes, a title-screen donation option, and minor item interactions. It also raised save slots to 8, added a new game confirmation, made Continue default with an existing save, moved Grabber spirits later, changed dialogue and sprites, expanded cutscenes, redecorated rooms, added a new Boss 1 ending for Route B, and removed deprecated plugins. The hotfix fixed an invisible sprite in an ending.

In a mansion in 1940s France, a doctor lives alone with her daughter, Anne. One night, their opulent home transforms into a hellscape... ANNE is a soft-parody/tribute to other RPG Maker "Vorror" games like "Kirumi" and "Devoured". It is also loosely inspired by "Mad Father". Evade gluttonous spirits and husks, solve puzzles and riddles, and save your mother... or hunt down all of the game over scenes because that's the main point of these games :]
