Barren Bargain

Great graphics, enjoyable in-game experience, not that much "action" and the shady link if you click stuff in menu Well, would love to give it a 5 stars, but after all, great HQ-pixel-graphics and simple, yet enjoyable gameplay is not enough on its own for H-game. Current 0.0.4 build has about 1,5-2h gametime, but you have "only" 9 scenes in total (with variations depending if you go good or bad route) which is fine value, but nothing impressive, would love to see more smaller events through the week rather than only on Mondays. Looking forward for more updates, and please, remove that shady link. from menu, it's totally unnecessary... [after all would give this 5 stars, but I dont like suspicious stuff]

v0.03 Currently in beta, you are a humble farmer supplying food to the locals to make them like you. You must grow your own food manually, it takes some time getting used to it but it's pretty good. If you make the people happy, you get H-scenes, if not well then you get nothing haha.

Good little puzzle game. Sadly, nothing more. This is a game that can very easily mislead you to expect more out of it. It's visually appealing, and has the vibe of cozy farm sims, while not being one. It's a simple puzzle game that rewards you with sex scenes for completing the puzzle stages. That's it. It's not an RPG, it doesn't have a meaningful story, exploration, or sandbox aspect to it, and I don't see any chance of it getting it down the road, unless it suffers a complete rework of its foundations (which is not a good thing for a game 9 times out of 10, so we'll assume it won't). If you don't expect anything extra, then it's a good game all around. The resource management puzzle is decent. It's neither entirely trivial nor extremely hard. It doesn't have a learning curve per se, but it's pretty transparent and is good at teaching its rules in one go. I can see it getting repetitive after tilling all the land on week 2, but for now it's not a big problem, since there are only 3 weeks available. Graphics, sound design is solid. UI, controls, overall and game feel is smooth; and it's (almost) bug-free. All that lends to a good player experience of... an hour, I'd say. That is, if you're okay with the overall setup of "hey, you produced enough resources to pass our benchmark! good job, have a scene." Which is why it's merely Good (4 stars).

Great game, Nice grafics, AND HAVE A GOOD GAMEPLAY I can't belive it, after so manny years a game with gameplay and some good maners. Grafics 10/10 Gameplay 8/10 (Still a little hard to get on the beggining) Sound 7/10 (Its the same music, but you will never notice) My personal enjoyament 5 STARS!!!

[Review for v0.03] Not bad. Kinda barebones, so not worth 5 stars at the moment, but certainly not bad. I enjoy the pixelated art, as it's pretty rare for AVNs to utilise it, so honestly my review score is probably inflated purely by the fact I'm impressed it was used period. The gameplay is very bare. The first 5 minutes encapsulates everything you'll do for the next half an hour. Not many scenes atm, but the art helps make them look good. The characters though are very bland, so if you're looking for good writing you won't be finding it here (at least atm). Seeing people complaining about the gameplay being frustrating or difficult is very funny to me, because I never had any issues getting the resources for the quotas first try. Literally all you need to do is get at least 3 wheat crops, get water, pour them on; usually putting one pumpkin crop is good if you need manure for boosting a particular crop. By like 3 days in, you'll have so much wheat that you can just rotate the crop to get what you want. Anyway, this is more of a hopeful 4 to encourage this smaller project, but really some people might not think it's worth the download purely cause there's not much going on, (I mean I've seen mobile apps with more content), but I have hope it'll be more engaging in the future.

The art is really good and the gameplay is kinda fun and easy. There is (v0.03) a sex scene, 2 bj sene and 2 undress scene, well made. Only downside is the fact that the bad route where you fail the delivery, and complete it the following week, doesn't give you different scenes, just different dialogue, cuold have been better if that was a more submissive route for the female npc, considering the lore of the game.

Pretty great potential here, the game already stands out with its smooth animations and impressive art style. Every scene feels real and well-crafted. I really hope the developers keep working on it, because with more content and polish, it could easily become something truly special. I’m excited to see how it grows in future updates. the milf at beginning are great too, hope it get more milf/gilf content

Very promising game with chill gameplay loop. Amazing quality pixel-art and non-standard setting. Women looks realistic and sexy, sex scenes also animated and interactive. Only thing it lacks is mouse controls and maybe gamepad support.

Fun farm management gameplay, with great art as reward at the end of the week. I liked figuring out exactly how much I should sell to not spoil anything at the end of the week. Writing is easy to understand and characters are great. Can't wait for the next patch! 5/5

I loved the game, it has sections that could be improved in farm management, but in artistic terms it is BEAUTIFUL, it is optimized, it has good dialogues and its erotic scenes are very enjoyable *wink* *wink* it would still need to work on its introduction, which although I love rural women, it needs a reason to get hooked. I'm not an expert, but it's worth playing... It will be because of my taste for plant management games. But this is one of those raw gems that you have to pay attention to.

This game offers you are very simple but well made management experience. However, there is not much content yet and it took me roughly fourty minutes to complete everything. The art appears to be okay for this kind of game and the very small size makes it conveniently downloadable for everyone. There certainly is potential, but the game needs a lot of refinement and much more content to be considered serious entertainment. Currently, I can only grant 4 stars and I am only doing this because the framework is unusual solid for such an early version. Sidenote: While I did not rate this, I am somewhat annoyed by the dev aggressively asking for support multiple times during the game. Like with all my ratings I am fully willing to change them if games improve.

Great artwork. great idea. Terrible execution. You are locked by energy that consumes an obscene amount of resources to regain, and you cannot gain energy any other way. Even at full energy you will not have enough to actually do much of anything. And EVERYTHING costs energy. Not 1 point of energy. 2-4 points of energy per action with a cap of 10 total. The game works on a weekly cycle. All the resources you build up during the week gets deleted at start of the new week. What would have made for a fun game is made unappealing by this one problem. What looks like a gem at first glance is just a glitter covered turd.

Great start and so much potential! Pretty simple premise, but has a couple twists from the regular instances in the genre. The farming loop is simple and satisfying as you grow your farm and I am excited to see how the mechanics develop. The sprites and CG are great and I am a big fan of the Mercenary!!
