BBC: Breaking News is an adult visual novel made by Late Signal in Ren'Py, using 2D AI CG artwork. It follows Steven and Emma, a happily married couple whose trust is tested when David, a new cameraman, begins working closely with Emma. You can play only as Steven, or include Emma’s scenes to see what happens when he is not present. Player choices shape his Control and Paranoia, changing later scenes. The story presents romance and teasing themes.
Development is ongoing. The current build is Ch. 2.003, released October 19, 2026. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with English, Russian, German, French, Italian, and Spanish language support, and is uncensored. The latest update shows Emma working late while David offers her a ride home, giving Steven time to choose how casually he replies. It also adds a weekend with Alex and Sarah, a private conversation with a close friend, and lets earlier choices carry into the chapter. Your selected POV mode determines which conversations you hear.
Developer's description
Steven and Emma are happily married. When David, a new cameraman, starts working with Emma, Steven has to decide how much he trusts her and how far he is willing to go for reassurance. You can play from Steven's POV only or add Emma's scenes and see what happens when he is not around. Your choices affect Steven's Control and Paranoia and change later scenes.
