About Broken Harbours
Broken Harbours is a Ren'Py visual novel from Dawn Chorus. It follows Rune and Devon, two isolated characters whose friendship grows through old hurts and fresh starts. The game is a standalone companion piece to Dawn Chorus, with 2D CG art and themes of romance, furry characters, and gay relationships.
The current release is v2.0, dated February 15, 2026, for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android. It is available in English and Chinese, uncensored. This update adds a new middle act, making the visual novel a three-act story, plus extra scenes and rewrites that improve the flow, a new illustration by Dangpa, UI by Bartor, new tracks by Keo, voice acting for a sex scene by Kodii, updated sprites by Haku, and a new ending.
Developer's description
Broken Harbours is a story about friendship and its limits, new beginnings and old wounds. Follow two solitary souls, Rune and Devon, through the beginnings of their friendship and see where the mutual fascination will lead them. It is a standalone side story to Dawn Chorus .
