About Burden Of Our Blood
Burden Of Our Blood is a choice-driven Ren'Py visual novel from Otter Tales Studio, presented with animated 3D CG art. You play a male protagonist returning home four years after your father vanished and the woman he left in charge sent you to a boarding school across the world. The house he built is finally complete, but you have never lived in it. The residents feel like family, yet you barely know them. Conversations and decisions shape trust, relationships, and who you become, with romance and voyeurism among the adult themes.
The current release is the v0.01 Demo, dated September 26, 2026. It is free, uncensored, and in English, available for Windows and Linux. It includes the start of Episode 1, from the first night to the next morning. This build has 411 images, with 400 WebP files and 11 PNG files; 398 of those are Episode 1 scene art. Five WebM animations are present, one during the episode and four for the studio splash and main menu. In total, there are 416 visual assets and 972 lines of dialogue.
