About Chronicles of Muscular City

Chronicles of Muscular City is an HTML text-based adult game by Xavierstories, presented with AI CG and 2D CG visuals. It is set in a fictional coastal city known for a large LGBT+ community, where the player can take part in gay romance and choose how to act. New Guy Mode follows a single guy who has moved there to rebuild his life and pursue stardom. Story Mode shifts between several characters as the narrative requires, letting choices reflect personal behavior without harsh restarts.

The current public build is v0.4.1, dated July 26, 2026, and it is not a final release. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog entry adds Story Mode Chapter 3. Earlier updates expanded New Guy Mode with messages, a gallery, a schedule with hints, magic glasses, several scenes, Smash or Pass, and new characters, while Story Mode progressed through chapters and interface fixes.

Welcome to Chronicles of Muscular City – a pure gay text-based game. Muscular City is a fictional coastal city known for its massive LGBT+ community, where you can encounter a gay character on every corner. The game features two distinct modes: 1. New Guy Mode: You play as a single guy who has just moved to Muscular City, eager to start his new life from scratch and rise to stardom. 2. Story Mode: While typical HTML text-based games usually focus on a single protagonist, that is not the case here. In this mode, you will step into the shoes of multiple characters throughout Muscular City, depending on who is relevant at any given moment as the narrative unfolds. This adds a dynamic layer to the game, meaning one character doesn't have to stumble into every possible situation just to uncover new information—especially when it shouldn't even concern them. So, you will have the opportunity to make choices, but nothing too punishing or exhausting that might ruin your experience halfway through and force you to restart. Instead, choices are primarily there to reflect how you would personally act in any given situation.
