This Tokyo mystery game is hitting all the right buttons for me. While some people thought the restaurant scene was too messy, I honestly lived for the drama. It felt like a social "boss battle" where the MC had to pass a major skill check to keep his cool. Watching him realize the other couple was a legitimate threat to his relationship gave me chills; seeing that possessive side come out while he tried to behave himself was incredibly spicy and added so much character depth. I really hope the developer keeps this energy going. My biggest wish is that the build-up of the plot in the upcoming releases is just as intense. The lore and the tension are set up perfectly, so if they can make the consequences of our choices even heavier, this has the potential to be a pretty popular game.

Honestly this feels like it's getting somewhere ! Love the art, it's pretty detailed and it looks really good for AI generated art. I'm into Netorase, so, obviously, the plot is really interesting to me. Waiting to see how the future updates will turn out ! This game has great potential !

I loved the dark vibe in this. It could be a good start to a great story. Plus, the main girl is very attractive. Here's hoping the CGs and animations improve with each update. As for the NTR that's done so well!!

Edit: This is a review of Chapter 2 Previously, I mentioned the restaurant scene. I reread the entire Chapter 1 before starting Chapter 2, and now there’s more consistency in what the story brings to the table. There are more details about the main characters, Ethan and Noelle. I hope they fix the AI art in Chapter 1 at some point, though. For now, I’m satisfied with the changes made to Chapter 1. Now, going to chapter 2. It’s a good story. It actually adds some lore instead of the usual “Here, sleep with my girlfriend while I indulge my fetish” type of plot. I tried two routes, the netorase route and the pure route (for now?), and they are both really good. I especially liked the investigation part. The AI art maintains consistency in most scenes in Chapter 2, which is a big plus. The only issue is that Shirayuki changes clothes about three times during a single conversation. Aside from that, I didn’t notice many errors with the AI art. The only thing left is to add a gallery mode so we can revisit scenes. If they do that, the game will be heading in a very good direction. On quote, it's my old chapter 1 review. This is a review of Chapter 1. I’ve read the whole chapter, and there are some issues in the game that I want to point out, especially for people who care about the story. I think some of this might be considered spoilers. At the start of the game, I really liked the vibe between the main male protagonist, Ethan, and the main female protagonist, Noelle. He comes off as charismatic and confident, in control of his surroundings. She appears cautious, powerful, and not someone who bends easily. But then the restaurant scene completely crushed my expectations. What is even supposed to be happening there? Their personalities fall apart, they both shrink into a corner and let some photographer guy take control of the entire conversation. He’s fine as a character and clearly there to move the plot forward, but the main cast’s established personalities are basically forgotten. The male protagonist barely participates in the conversation, and the female protagonist only gives weak responses, wondering about accepting the model job, nothing like the strong, confident person the story initially presents. There’s no consistency in the story’s progression. Speaking of consistency, let’s talk about the AI art. I might have accepted the inconsistent visuals if this were a year ago, but with inpainting tools available now, there’s really no excuse. The male characters sometimes would have a woman's face, chest like woman... Well, the bad things aside, I liked the originality at the start. If the story had continued without changing the main cast’s personalities so early, the game could have been great. (The whole “This city changes you” thing.) I’m not sure how fast-paced the story is supposed to be, but for now, the mess in the restaurant scene has made me hesitant to try the next chapters. Click to expand...
