About Cinnamon Buns
Cinnamon Buns is an adult visual novel by Running Pixels, built with Ren'Py and presented through 3D CG artwork with animations. You play as a female protagonist leaving her hometown for college, meeting charming characters and learning more about herself and the world. The story is set in an alternative version of our real world, where familiar things coexist with differences, and it aims for a light, humorous, sitcom-like tone. It may also include mystery, fantastical elements, and corruption, while some parts let you see events from multiple perspectives.
The current build is v0.1.5, released on September 23, 2025, and development is ongoing. It is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, with no censorship. The latest update adds around eight thousand words, one hundred rendered images, and thirteen animations.

"Cinnamon Buns" is an adult visual novel game about a girl leaving her hometown for college. As her story unfolds, she will meet many charming characters living their own lives, discover many interesting things about herself and the world around her and, maybe, find love and companionship. Some mystery and fantastical elements planned. Spoiler Game takes place in an alternative version of our world, so many things are the same, while many others differ. This project is meant to be a silly, light-hearted story, filled with humor and lovable characters. Best way to think about it is to picture a sit-com/rom-com webcomic or a school anime series. That doesn't mean that the story will focus on the college, that some of the characters will attend, but more that that's the vibe I'll be trying to catch. Plot will not always follow a single character and may offer an opportunity to see things from multiple perspectives.
