A New Life follows a young man arriving for an exchange stay in a shared house, expecting a simple new beginning away from his usual life. Instead, he finds himself living under the same roof as several women with very different personalities, routines, boundaries, and secrets.
As the days pass, the player explores the house and nearby city locations, helping the girls with small requests, building bond, unlocking private moments, and discovering casual events that can happen during daily navigation. Time advances through conversations, quests, and actions, with each day limiting how much the player can do before needing to sleep.
This Beta focuses on the first slice of the game: the shared house introduction, the first quests, relationship progression, unlockable media, casual scenes, and the first action scenes for Lily, Maya, Noelle, Sabrina and Claire.

Only a 3 at the moment based on the HOPE that this can progress well. Model choice is nice. Hope that the grindy nature doesn't continue to get more grindy, though where it's at right now would be a decent balance if more characters are added. As of right now though it's very bare bones, but still a 3 on the HOPE that this progresses well.

There's no game here. You just do boring errands and then you get access to a few porn scenes. You might as well just go to a porn site instead. It might be a good game in the future, but, right now, it is very undercooked.

(v0.1.0) It's frankly a stretch to call this a game. You show up at the house and move in. Effectively your only interaction is to 'converse' with each girl, and the conversation is just a short paragraph where they give you a fetch quest. Literally, "I left X at Y can you get it for me". The quests involve clicking your way to the named location, clicking "get item", and going back to the girl. There's nothing interesting about the quests, and nothing particularly interesting about the girls- there's barely any discussion with them that doesn't center around the latest thing they need picked up. And if that weren't tedious enough there's a rigid daily limit. You do 2-3 nondistinct fetch quests, and then get hit with a message that you're worn out for the day and need to go to sleep. Do so, wake up, repeat. I suppose there could be amazing sex scenes at the other end of however many repetitions of that the dev has programmed in, but if I want to see them that bad I'll look up the actresses. For the dev, if you're reading this, this is a problem of investment. There's nothing here to make the player want to interact with these girls, because there's no interaction available to the player except picking up their knickknacks from the store. The vague promise of sex eventually isn't enough; give the girls engaging personalities, give them teasing scenes, give the player character narration about how he feels about them, give the player something fun to do, something . As the cherry on top I'll note that the game rapidly forgot the name I assigned my character.
