About Cult 87
Cult 87 is a 2D and 3D adventure game made by Feral Walrus with Unity. You play detective Max after his ship sinks and he washes ashore on a dark cult island. You explore the island and Black Blood Castle, solve puzzles, fight cult women, and try to save missing women while escaping. The gameplay feels like an old-school shooter with slower action, using animated visuals and an eight-sided sprite system that gives some 2D scenes a three-dimensional Doom-like feel. Story choices let you decide how to speak or interact in some moments.
Development is ongoing. The current build is v1.1, released October 7, 2025 for Windows in English, uncensored. The latest update adds bug fixes, corrects hidden objects in the lighthouse level, replaces interact text with an E icon on usable objects, and improves performance.

Save the missing women and escape the island. Cult 87 plays like an old school shooter with 2D and 3D elements. The 2D elements use a 8 sided sprite system to give you the feeling of 3D like Doom. Some actions require a selection to the storyline giving you some freedom to choose what you want to say or interact with.
