About Detective Mikami
Detective Mikami is a finished Unity adventure made by ASOBI. It uses animated 3D CG visuals and presents a fantasy sandbox setting after a worldwide outbreak. You play Mikami, a mean and impolite woman, whose survival path crosses with Hirano, a reserved man. The two are very different, yet they are stuck together in a dangerous new world. They have no one else to rely on, so they stay together while moving through forests and cities. Zombies surround them, and Mikami struggles to keep quiet as she waits for a moment to snap.
The current build is finished, and the completed version was released on January 10, 2025. It is available on Windows in English and is uncensored. The work focuses on adventure, fantasy, and sandbox themes.
Developer's description
The outbreak has hit the entire world like a truck. Yet, in some respects, the infestation of the population has affected Mikami and Hirano the most. That is because the two of them are so unlike one another yet they are stuck together, trying to live through this new, dangerous world. Mikami is a mean, impolite woman, whilst Hirano is much more reserved as a man. Once they met, they knew they wouldn’t work together properly right away. Still, they had no one else to rely on. The apocalyptic world has brought them together and now there was no separating them if they wanted to survive. As soon as they had these realisations, they kept quiet, their heads low, yet still moving through forests and cities, trying to fend for themselves. Mikami found it difficult to keep to herself. She knew that one moment of the next, she was going to snap. She waited for the perfect moment, her body stirring up as the zombies circled in all around them.
